Chapter 24

"Wait, Lawrence!" it's Key.

"What?"

"I'm having my birthday party this Saturday. I hope you can come."

"I'm not sure about it."

"Please...this would be your present to me." he begged.

"Let me think about it." I said.

"I'll wait for you. " he said then left me.

I decided to wait Lincon in the cafeteria. He said he's the one who will picked me up today. I ordered snack while waiting for him.

"Can I seat here?" Marty said.

"It's not mine, it's school property." I said cold. I ignored him as if his invisible.

"Lawrence... "

"If you have something to say, say it now."

"I missed you." he said.

I ignored what he said.

"I said I missed you." he repeated.

"But not me."

"I know, I just want you to tell you."

I ignored him again.

"Are you happy? Did he treat you right? Did he kind to you?"

"Why asking?" he suddenly annoyed me.

"If he is, I can move on with less guilt. But if he is not, I tried to win you back no matter what."

"Look Marty, is not your business anymore if I'm happy or not. You can do whatever you want, as long as you're leaving me alone, I don't care."

"Lawrence, don't be like this to me please. I still love you." he said sadly.

"What happening here? I already told you young man stay away from Lawrence." Lincon said fusing.

"We better go Sir." I said when I saw we already catch attention from the people there. I dragged Lincon out.

"What do he want from you?" Lincon asked when we're inside the car.

"Nothing, he just said he missed me and he still loved me."

"What did you said?"

"I told him I didn't feel the same anymore."

"Good."

After that, he drive in silent. He never talk to me even we arrived in the house. He went straight to our room. When I get there, he went to the bathroom to change. When he is done he went out in the room without saying anything.

I feel like crying. Why he is ignoring me. I didn't do anything wrong. When the helper knock in the door to tell me that the dinner is ready. I'm hesitant to go down but I don't want my in law think the wrong idea. I went down. I saw Lincon seated already. I seat beside him. I keep silent like what he do.

After the dinner I went first to our room. I heard my father in law asked Lincon what's happening?

I cried in bathroom for a long time. Thinking what Lincon would be upset of. I need to asked him. But how if we chose to ignore me. An idea pop up in my mine. If it's about Marty a while ago then I should do something. I decided to go shower to calm myself first. I wear a robe and pick a little piece of undie. I call the helper in the intercom to asked where exactly Lincon is. She said he's in the study room alone. I let my hair looking wet. I spray a little cologne to smell more fresh. Tonight I make sure my husband won't ignore me anymore. I check myself again in the mirror, just to make sure everything looks good.
