Chapter 3

"Your here already? how come I didn't see your car in the parking." my best friend Key asked.

"The driver dropped me here." I said.

"Um, why? What happened to your car?"

"Im just too lazy to drive." I casually said.

"How's your sem-break? The trip? I didn't reach you, your phone is off?"

"Um... I'm sorry I forgot to bring  my phone.. I just remembered it when Im in London already." I said.

"Oh, that's why your boyfriend pestering me. Did you reach him?" he asked.

Actually, my mind is busy thinking with other things. I forgot to call him. I reply to his message once, but that's all. I'm afraid I burst into cry if I heard his voice.

"Not yet. But I'm planning to make it up to him later."

"Speaking of the devil, here he come.." Key said. I saw my boyfriend Marty entered the classroom.

"Hi guys! Sweetie, I'm calling you many times but your phone can't reach." he said to me sulking.

"I'm sorry, I forgot my phone Marty. Let me make it up to you later ok." I hug him to stop his sulking.

"Promise? He asked.

"Yeah, promise and I bought something for you." I smiled to cover up my guilty feeling.

"Really? What it is? I can't wait to see it." he said excited. He forgot his sulking a while before.

After the class, he asked me to eat some snack in the cafeteria. He hold my hand and drag me away. I didn't have a chance to invite my friends to join us.

"Sweetie, is there something wrong? You're acting weird today. You didn't pay attention to me. Why you lost somewhere?"

"It's nothing. I'm just tired from the trip sweetheart. I didn't get enough sleep yet."

"Did you enjoyed?"

"Umm.. O-of course, you know how rear to have my parent's time right." I can't look at him straight. I'm guilty for not telling him the truth. Well, I'm planning but I don't know how to start. I need a perfect timing. I know I will hurt him but things happened this way, it makes me no choice. I don't want to lie to him for so long.

"That's good. Next time, the two us will have a trip together okey." he hold my hand and kiss it. "I love you Lawrence."

Shit! It's breaks me, I love him so much. How can I afford to lose him. He's so kind to me. He always care for me. He never contest any of my lapses. He's a perfect boyfriend to me. Why things so unfair. We love each other but can't be together.

" I love you too Marty."

Days past by, Marty start extra clingy to me. I was confused then but I guess he just misses me so much. He never go far from me, his stayed on my side. The reason why I can't get a talk to my friends. They cant stay when Marty is with me. Maybe they awkward to see how my boyfriend care me.
