Chapter 7

I asked the driver if I could buy something in the convenient store. When he said yes, I asked him another favor..

"Can we stay a little longer time at the park Mister?" although the driver little confused he still drive me at the park.

I take my time for a walk, when I get tired I seated somewhere comfortable. I opened and drink the can of beer that I bought in the store. Im not planning to be drunk, I just wanna calm myself before I go home. I'm not denying it I feel angry right now. I love Marty so much. I can't imagined that he could cheated on me and worst with my best friend. I felt betrayed. I think high of him and thought he's a perfect boyfriend. How can he hurt me in the end.

"You having fun alone here?"

I startled. "What are you doing here?" I asked and try to hide the beer can.

"I got bored waiting for you at home, so I asked the driver where are you. He told me you having fun here at the park."

"Oh come on, I'm just take a walk a little." I rolled my eye to his exaggerated story.

"What the beer for?" he asked.

"Im just curious about the taste." I lied.

"Really? Is it good?"

"I don't know I can't taste it..." I whispered because I didn't pay attention to the beer. I just drink to ease the pain.

He seated near me. He pick the beer in my hand then drink it. "Well, not bad." He look at me. "But you don't need this." He pat his shoulder. "Here, you can lean on to this and cry." I look at him. Why this man know when I needed someone by my side. He put my head to his shoulder when I hesitant to move.

"What it is? We can talk about it if you want, but if not it's okey."

He asked.

"I broke up with him."

"I understand... How do you feel right now?" Lincon asked.

"I caught him and my best friend fucking each other..." I continued.

"Well... What!!? That bastard cheated on you?!" he bursted.

"I'm so hurt, the fact that he did it with my best friend. It's really hurt."

He hugged me. "Cry on it, tomorrow it's gonna be okey."

I burst in cry on his shoulder. "I never thought, this can be really painful and relief at the same time. I was so guilty back then, I thought I'm the one who gonna hurt him from marrying you... but when I knew that they doing it for a long time, I was relieved. I'm not the one who cheated first." I said crying.

"You never cheated him, You just have no choice but marrying me." he continues patting my back. He made calm. He comfort me with his words.

"Sir, thank you. I never thought you'd be here by my side in this situation." I said to him when I stop crying.

He held my face to look at me. "Your eyes are swollen, you look ugly now." he tease.

I slap his hand. That make him smile more. "Let's go home Sir."

"Yes. I'll take you home now, Lawrence." he replied.
