Rehmaat settled beside the grand staircase of her floor but as she was going to relish the Makhan she sensed someone standing behind her.

"Who has come now, let me have my Makhan peacefully, Man." She grumbled , while grumbling she stood up and turned to look who was the one disturbing her.

But her hands lost the grip on the bowl and it fell from her hands.

But another hand catched the bowl.

When she looked at the person's face she realized that the one who catched the bowl was none other than her Newly made bestfriend's brother.

Hukum's P.O.V (After he reached the palace)

As I was going towards my chamber. Something or rather someone catched my eyes. So I decided to see who was sitting near the staircase.

I noticed that it was Manavi's Friend and she was sitting there with a ...... bowl of butter. I think my presence startled her as when she got up the bowl in her hands was about to fall but I quickly got hold of the bowl.  As a part of my training my reflexes are quite sharp.

I secured the bowl in my hand and she was looking towards me, probably surprised as she was not expecting this, and than she opened her mouth to say something and her words came as a shock as no one has said something like that to me ever.

"Woah, what a catch even my partner's reflexes are not that sharp anymore. How did you do it dude ?" She asked but suddenly bit her tongue.

"I meant Mr. Singh not dude. It's just that out of habit I used the word dude." She explained.

"It's ok Miss Kaur. Here your bowl." I forwarded the bowl. But she scrunched her nose as if she didn't liked something.

"Miss Kaur, seriously it sounds like Miss call . So Mr.Singh please don't call me Missed call instead call me Just Kaur. It's fine." She said.

"I think it's more than fine to call you Miss Kaur." I denied.

"It's me whom you are addressing,so I think you should call me the way I want it to be right!" She said as if stating the facts.

"Well yesterday some one said some things about how they can't and won't call me Hukum Sa. So doesn't that rule apply on you as well. Miss Kaur." I said in my usual tone.

"Mr. Singh.. ugh ok fine I will call you what you want me to call you but not Hukum Sa as as I genuinely don't feel that I should call you that." She said almost desperately.

"Well in that case, Continue calling me Mr.Singh it's fine. But I am not really comfortable with calling you Kaur. As a future king, I can't be disrespectful towards a female so I have to use a respectable suffix." Being Rajput that too a Raghuvanshi, respecting women is something that come naturally to us.

"I beg to differ Mr.Singh one should not give respect to someone on basis of there gender. But again it's you ethics that doesn't allow you to disrespect a woman and I respect that. But you can call me Kaur as I am a kid infront of you." She said not wanting to offend me I guess.

"A kid? How so?" I asked.

"Obviously Mr.Singh. I just turned 18, 2 months ago and you are older than me. You look like a 24-25 year old man. We literally have generation gap between us. So Ya, you can call me Kaur as I am a child infront of you." I mentally scoffed at her childish explainish but maintained an emotionless face infront of her.

"If you say so, Kaur" and with that I was about to turn but she intruptted.

"Wait a second Mr.Singh, I actually wanted to talk to you." Ok there goes my plan to have a peaceful evening.

I gestured her to continue.

" I know I only know Push..I mean Manavi for barely 2 days but I have still formed an emotional bond with her like I knew her from ages." She blinked before continuing.

"As I am a really emotional person. With absolute no control over my emotions and tongue as well. I know you will find this really Filmy or dramatic but I genuinely want Manavi to enjoy this one month along with me." She took a pause as if thinking about her next words.

"And you ofcourse. And I really don't want her mood to be spoiled because of our clashes." I raised an questioning eyebrow at that.

"Ok, ok because of my mood swings. So let's be friendly atleast for her sake. We have to travel with eachother. So let's not only tolerant eachother's opposite behaviour but be friends too." She sounded excited but after looking at my still cold face, her face fell a little. But she quickly recovered.

"Ok I know you just can't be friendly with a stranger. But atleast you can try no. I am not a bad person I swear." With that she pinched her neck. And I just gave a small nod approving her "let's be civil" idea.

" Ok so Mr.singh you have to bear my childish behaviour in return I promise to not behave like a hypocrite that I was a few mins ago. I know it's tough for you to listen to me talking but get used to it because even if you won't respond to me I will keep nagging you. Ok bye." With that she turned casually.

"Wait, wait, wait. Such an idiot I am, I forgot to give you this." She Suddenly shouted and kept the bowl of butter in front of me.

"It's Laddu Gopal's Share. Have it but only a little bit." She said.

I took a smallest bite as I don't eat unhealthy things but as it was prasad I can't deny it too.

"That's the smallest bite, I was joking Mr.Singh atleast have a little.." before she could continue I cut the blabbering short.

"It's just that I am a diet concious person." And her face was morphed into a shocked state.

"Oh ok." Finally she was quiet.

"And Kaur. From tommorow our travelling session will Start. You and Manavi will come with me, ok." I ordered.

"I am fine with it but Mr.Singh can we please avoid too much security. I mean they can come with us but in disguise of Normal people. No one should know that we have you high end security with us." She said softly.

"But why?" I asked.

"Because even if it's for our own good. Manavi feels caged and we have to make her feel at ease so that she can enjoy right?" She gave her opinion.

"Ok fine." And I agreed for......... Avi. Yes for Avi.

"And Mr.Singh we are friends now. I know you might not have many friends, but I promise to be a geniune Friend. And maybe someday you will accept this friendship too." She was grinning like anything.

I just gave her the cold look and went towards my chambers to finally have some peace.
