She stood frozen!

After hearing the voice that gave her comfort, her eyes welled up.

Her feet remained frozen and she didn't knew how to react.

And she felt......

You know the way one feels after meeting thier bestfriend after years.

Or the way one feels after meeting thier favourite hero.

Or the way a child feels after hearing thier superhero Also known as thier father's voice after ages!

It was exactly how she was feeling!

While on other side the previous king of Jaipur was feeling the turmoil of emotions too.

He was seeing his daughter after 6 long years.

He was hearing the giggling chirpy voice of his brave mischievous warrior girl, his savior after such s long time.

His eyes welled with a tear of joy!

"Warrior girl, did you forgot your buddy?" He asked in a small voice after not getting any reaction from his little girl!

She didn't turn back, just kept standing while her back faced him.

Everyone in the room turned silent.

The room was so silent that one could hear the sound of breathing!

Rehmaat's parents and her friends knew why she was frozen while others were confused but still they could sense the gravity so they kept silence rather than asking what happened.

While the Raghuvanshi's felt too emotional. They knew how bad Rehmaat must have been feeling!

Alas they had accused her of..... Of trying to kill her own Buddy!

On other side Rehmaat was in trance.

She felt like crying, screaming, laughing and what not.

Suddenly her tarance broked as a warm hand was placed on her head.

With her trance her brave facade was broken too.

Her loud sob shooked her and her knees felt weak, unable to hold her weight she was about to fall on her knees, but he gathered her in his arms!

Her Buddy didn't let her fall he got her in his hold protectively, while Rehmaat threw her arms around his shoulder and hugged him tightly! While more sobs left her mouth.

Her buddy's eyes were warm with tears too but his heart was feeling a peace. A peace of hugging his precious little girl after years.

The moment was so peaceful that no one dared to breake it.

Suddenly Rehmaat stopped her sobs and lightly pulled out of her Buddy's protective grip and slowly checked him from too to bottom.

With trembling hands she touched the exact same spot where he was stabbed by Viraj years ago.

Another sob left her mouth when she touched the healed wound.

And with tears in her eyes she looked into his eyes and said.

"Is it healed, are you feeling pain Buddy. Are you fine now?" She asked with the same emotion that a small child has when they ask thier parents about something new.

"It's not paining right. You are better now. What did the doctor said?" She again asked.

All the questions that she wanted to ask him way back!

"It's been six years child! It's all healed up." Vikram Singh said while softly caressing her head.

"It has? But why does feel like it was yesterday Buddy. Why?

When your wound is healed because it's been 6 years than why all my wounds are hurting till now! Why?" She cried while clutching his Shirt and he again hugged her.

His teary bloodshot eyes met his family's guilty eyes!

And the Raghuvanshi's understood the damage they did.

"We will heal it child. I promise your buddy will make everything right again. I promise my child." He assured her.

And Rehmaat realised how badly she was craving this assurance.

"All the love is reserved for you Buddy only? What about your D.J." An warm female voice pulled Rehmaat's attention towards her.

"D.J.?" She whispered while going towards her Grandmother.

"I missed you. I missed you so much D.J." She muttered while hugging her.

"I missed you too my child." The wise woman said while wiping her tears with her stole.

"Come Buddy, D.J. let me introduce you to everyone." Rehmaat said while protectively holding thier hands as if assuring they were not going anywhere!

With the reunion full of tears they all went to thier rooms to prepare for the Haldi ceremony that was supposed to happen in the evening.

While Rehmaat went with her Buddy to spent the day with him.

Leaving behind guilt ridden hearts!

"Jeez, I must say my company has made you savage too I mean you just gave an epic reply to Simmi Aunty!" Rehmaat high fived her jeez.

Dressed in a beautiful yellow traditional Punjabi suit she looked gorgeous!

"Ofcourse I had to, I mean how dare she try to be mean with my little sister!" Manraj said pulling her cheeks.

"Maraj, listen man, they all are calling you for the ceremony." Mrityunjay said while coming from behind.

"Ooh I'll go." The groom departed while Rehmaat who was about to follow her jeez halted as her Jay got hold of her hand!

"Veeru let's have some fun!" He had his signature mischievous smile on his face.

"Oh yah." Rehmaat winked and both went towards the food court, got themselves some snacks and settled on a couch together.

"Ooh my God, see that girl in pink. She is looking so gorgeous!" Jay gave an dreamy look while looking towards a girl.

"Nah, I think that girl in Red is looking more beautiful!" Rehmaat said while popping a chocolate peace in her mouth.

"Yah she is beautiful too. Wait, wait a sec, why are you looking at girls." Jay laughed at Rehmaat.

"Duh because when you have a male bestfriend you have to rate girls as a part of bro code. No offence to any girl they all are beauties." Rehmaat giggled while offering a piece of chocolate to her bestfriend.

"Ok so be my wingman or more like wing women and set me up with that girl in red as a date." Jay smirked.

"Ooh, but why are you looking for a date suddenly!" Rehmaat asked amused.

"Because of the P.D.A. going around us. Like all of our known ones are either engaged, married or dating. Hell even your "Basanti or more like male Basanta" keeps looking at you with those dreamy eyes." Jay teased Rehmaat referring to Hukum's glances!

"Ok Jay let me go and talk to her!" Rehmaat said but she was planing a perfect revenge in her mind to get back at her bestfriend for his teasings.

She went towards the girl who was standing with a glass of colddrink dressed in a red suit!

"Hey nice necklace, from where did you get it." With a an ease Rehmaat started the conversation and she got to know that the girl's name was Manreet.

After a few minutes Rehmaat got to the point!

"See Manreet let me be honest actually I am here with my bestfriend's proposal!

See that man standing Over thier." Rehmaat gestured towards Jay.

While he gave a small smile. The girl blushed Beetroot!

"See how handsome he is." Rehmaat praised her bestfriend before dropping the bomb.

"He is even ready to leave his 3-4 girlfriends for you.

And he is ready to quit his drinking habits." Rehmaat said with an innocent face while the girl's face morphed into shock!

"Forget that, he told me himself that he will leave his gambling habit too and will do hard work!" Rehmaat again said in a praising tone as if she was telling some achievements!

The girls face showed anger, she immediately threw an Angry glare towards Mrityunjay whose face showed confusion.

"Ooh god is there anything else left?" The girl asked in an Angry voice.

"Ooh no don't get mad, he is a really gem of a person you know really honest, actually he has this bad habit because he started visiting those bars at early age you know by falling into wrong company otherwise he is a real gem." Rehmaat again said with a fake innocent and sympathetic voice.

"I must say one thing, despite all the bad habits of your friend you are still praising him?" The girl raised her voice.

"I can't help it dear. I am a really considerate person you know!

So should I assume it's a yes from your side!" Rehmaat Asked!

"Yes? I don't care if I remain single forever I will never date a person like him." That girl blinked in disgust.

"It's sad that you refused despite my best efforts!

Poor Jay!

I wonder how he will deal with this!" Rehmaat sighed faking a sad face!

While That girl went away jay came closer to Rehmaat and asked

"What did you said?" He asked suspiciously while Rehmaat explained the incident to him.

"Now go and find the tallest place from where you can pull a drama of suicide." Rehmaat laughed while Mrityunjay looked accusingly at her.

"Why did you did that." His nose flared.

"You know in Sholay Jay does the same thing with Veeru. And here this Veeru avenged that Veeru." Rehmaat laughed.

"You I won't leave you!" Saying this Jay took threatening steps towards Rehmaat.

To which Rehmaat ran from thier giggling while Mrityunjay chased her with a smirk on his face.

The Jay-Veeru pair was being palyful.

As they both arrived where the ceremony was taking place Rehmaat got hold of the plate full of Turmeric paste and smeared it on Her Jay's face.

And that's how the Turmeric battle started with lots of laughter and giggles.
