Unexpectedly Yours
Tyler Anderson
On weekends me and the boys were mostly home, playing video games in the living room together.
Today was one of those days where we just sat there and played. Even Chris came over.
I watched as Chris fought against Daniel and munched on some Chips. "Good shot." I commented as my phone screen suddenly lights up.
A message from Alice.
I don't feel safe here, can you come pick me up?
Did my heart just skip a beat?
Location?
I ask and get up, putting on my leather jacket and my gloves, my friends eyes following my movement.
"What's wrong?" Chris asks as he looks at me confused. "My girl needs me. I'll be back in no time." I grab my helmet and leave the house.
My screen lights up another time, she sent me her live location.
I waited ten minutes outside but seems like she's not looking at her phone. I push the door open, air stuffy, smelling like alcohol and sweat.
My eyes scanned the room and I immediately spotted her. That backless black dress making her pretty back stand out so perfectly and hugging her curves.
Her hair was curled and I knew she couldn't really stand in those high heels but wore them because they match to her dress.
I pressed myself through the crowd, her back was facing me. God, how I wanted to kiss her soft back and make her lean into my touch.
Telling her she's all mine and she should never go into one of those party's again because no one deserves to see her in this beautiful dress.
I wrapped my arms around her waist and she immediately turned around. She didn't answer my texts. I had to come in. "I'm here, gorgeous." She smiles not really saying anything.
Adam suddenly show's up. I wanted to punch my fist into his face until he looks like a different person. Smashing his face so he'll never ever be able to look at Alice again. Never. Ever.
"You wanna come pick Kyle up?" Right, Alice mentioned that he's here. Fucking traitor. I know they'll use him to kick us off this school.
I just know. His mother is the fucking principal and seems to believe those fucking bastards more than her son's friends.
I wanted to smash Adams, Madelines, Alans and now even Kyle's face for everything they've done. Chris is blessed that Madeline never made a scene out of that pregnancy thing back then or he'd really be in trouble by now.
"Nah, I'm taking Alice with me. Let's go." If I had to look into his face a second longer it'd be smashed. Trust me.
I gently pull her out with me
Right as we stepped out I knew I forgot something at home. Her helmet. I'm such an idiot. "I forgot your helmet. Here, take mine." I didn't take him off when I went in there.
Just had my visor up. I took the helmet off and handed him to her. "Thank you." She softly says and puts him on.
"Wanna come over to my place for a bit?" I asked her after she put the helmet on. The boys like her so why not.
"Yeah, sure." Yes! Yes! Yes!
I acted all cool and nodded before starting the engine.
"Are those heels safe?" I ask, looking at her feet. I knew these were uncomfortable as hell but did they stick to her feet?
"Uncomfortable as fuck but they never slipped off. I guess they are." She shruggs, voice muffled through the helmet. "Okay, I'll drive safe. Hold on."

"Oh, look. Bro brought his chick with him. Hey Jones." Chris grins as we walk into the living room. "You here, Caddle?" She chuckles and I lean closer to her.
"Wanna take off those heels?" She nods. "That'd be great. Thank you." She hands me her heels and I place them next to our shoes.
"What are you gaming?" She sits down next to Chris, his eyes glancing at here back, almost burning holes into it. "Fallout." He finally focuses on the screen again.
"Guys, Kyle was at that party Alice went to. Talking to Adam. Seems sus to me." Daniel scoffs. "I knew he never really liked us. He's probably helping Alan and Maddie." Chris's eyes shoot up as Daniel mentions Madelines name.
"Fuck no, Maddie would never." I snort. "You're the most delusional person I know, Caddle. If her daddy wouldn't be so strict she would've told her parents everything and you would've definitely left school on the same day that test turned out positive." Alice looks at me confused.
"What test?" I sigh, I forgot she doesn't know. She doesn't know anything. She doesn't know Adam. She doesn't know Kyle. Maybe she doesn't even know me and what if she finds out what Adam said about her?
What if she finds out that I knew all along and never told her? Will she hate me?
"Caddle got Miss Johnson pregnant at a party. You should've been there when she made that pregnancy test. She aborted it though." The time after was a mess and almost teared our friendship apart.
All these rumors of Christian Caddle raping girls or drugging them to sleep with them. Poor boy even got kicked out of the basketball team. Most of the girls who had a huge crush on him started distancing themselves.
"God, how could you sleep with a bitch like her?" Alice's face scrunched at the thought. "Never say something against Madeline Johnson in front of Chris. That bitch is his whole life." I chuckle and Chris just scoffs.
"You guys make me sick. I don't even know why I'm friends with you." We all don't really know. It just happened when we all got into the same class.
Daniel proudly told us that he had just joined the basketball team and that his father is the new coach of it which encouraged Chris to join the team as well.
After the two of them invited me to a match I kept hanging around with them. Noah joined us later. He came to Boston because his mother got a small job here. When he turned eighteen she got fired and had to move back to Dublin which is why Daniel and I asked him to join us.
"Don't know either, buddy. Just happened." I sigh and sit down on the couch as well. We watched Daniel game.
That dude never took his eyes off that TV. It's like they're glued to it. He had to win.
"Okay, I'll head home. My old man will be mad if I come back too late." I nod. "See you in school, bro." He waved at us and left.
"Where's Noah?" I didn't even realise he wasn't with us the whole evening. Daniel shruggs. "I think he said he wanted to go out for a bit." I think Noah still isn't sure what to do about the situation with his dad. He definitely needed time to think about it.
"Will you continue gaming?" Daniel immediately nodded and I turned to face Alice. "Wanna go into my room?" A small smile spread across her lips. "Sure."
"I never really had the time to snoop around last time." Right, last time. The last time she was here we ended on my bed, making out and fucking.
I closed the door behind her and leaned against it. "You like snooping around, huh?" She nodded, looking at one of my childhood photos.
"Is that you?" She asked pointing at a cute little boy with brown hair and a proud smile on his face as I hugged my father who had just bought me my first ever Impeller.
"Oh, yeah. I was so proud. My father bought me a impeller." I walked behind her, looking at the picture with her. "You really look like your father." She looked at the picture and then into my face, studying my features.
Her eyes suddenly stared into mine. I couldn't take my eyes off her. What was wrong with me?
I wanted to kiss her, stroke my hands over her bare back, tell her how much I want her.
God, just the way she looked up at me made my dick twitch again and I could see her nipples hardening against that fabric from her dress.
The tension between us was heated, air making me feel unable to breathe. "Fuck." I curse, her eyes sparkling as she leans against the door.
Looking so beautiful in her black dress. She should've never gone to that party. She should've stayed with me. Safe and away from that bastard. He doesn't deserve her.
My hand gently wraps around her waist, pulling her closer to me. "What are you doing?" God, I could stare into her beautiful eyes forever.
"A few kisses won't ruin our friendship, right?" My hand perfectly fit into her curves, pulling her a little closer to me. I can feel her warm breath against my lips.
Her eyes wander from my right eye, to my left, to my mouth and back to my eyes. Oh, she's driving me insane right now. I lift her chin with my fingers softly, leaning in and finally connecting our lips.
My other arm wraps around her waist, her arms wrap around my neck as I push my tongue into her mouth softly.
Her hands run through my hair, breath hitching. A groan leaves my lips as she presses herself against me. How can a woman like her make me forget about everything? The only thing on my mind right now is she.
I knew from day one that I liked her. The moment she walked into the cantine I knew she was mine.
My eyebrows pinched together in disappointment as she pulled away. Her thumb brushing away her red lipstick on my lips.
"Sorry I got taken away." I sigh, feeling a little embarrassed about the situation. I could swear my cheeks were red by now. She didn't respond.
"Are you in good terms with your dad?" She asked me all of a sudden and walked over to my bed, sitting down on it. I nod.
"Yeah, he helped me get my brother's motorcycle and helped me move in with the boys. He's proud of me and would always support me." I smiled at myself, thinking about my dad. I definitely have to visit them.
"How about you and your dad-", I suddenly remember what she told me. My dad never wanted to be a dad.
"I don't know where he is right now. I just know that he doesn't care. Me and my mother were in the best terms you could imagine, it was weird when she suddenly wasn't there for me anymore. I sadly saw her dying." Her voice starts to shake as she talks.
There was this arching feeling in my chest. God, poor girl. No mother, no father, just her aunt and her cousin.
"I never really got the love I wanted to get. I always hoped my dad would come back but I stopped hoping." Breathe, Ali. No one forces you to tell me your story.
"You don't have to talk about it if it's hard for you." I clear my throat. "I feel like I need to talk about it. It's like therapy without actually going into therapy." Her eyes start to fill with tears.
"But right now...let's not talk about it further." And that's when the door opens and Daniels head appears behind it. "Hey, uh, I will sleep over at my mom's and since it's near to Alice's house I wanted to ask if I should take her with me?" He looks at us.
"Uh, yeah, that'd be great. I need to get up early tomorrow anyway." She turns around to face me, her eyes meet mine for a quick moment and a small smile ghosts her lips before leaving my room with Daniel.
