Unexpectedly Yours

Alice Jones

I hated myself. I really did. How did I go back to ignoring him the past week? I mean I had to focus on studying for the upcoming exam today.

But still, god, I hated this disappointed look on his face when I walked past him without saying something. I kinda went back to my bitch attitude when I first came here.

Ignoring him, talking to everyone but him and I didn't even drive home with him anymore. My heart arched at the thought of it.

"So, did I understand that right? You want to make Tyler jealous and I should help you with it?" I nod. "Yeah, perfect start is the party tonight." I smiled at Chris.

"You know he's really suffering because you're not talking to him, right?" I sigh, I know. I. Am. So. Sorry. "I know. I'm an asshole but I have to do it. Don't ask." His Hazel eyes eye me and he sighs.

"Fine, just this one time. I'll help you." I've never seen Chris this serious. He's usually joking around but he seems to not like this at all. I would've asked Adam but that guy is an complete asshole.

Or... Wait... He has a brother, right?

The school bell rang through my ear and I couldn't really continue my thoughts about it because we'll write our exam right now.

"Good luck, Chris." I patted his shoulder and made my way to the classroom.

"Good morning, students. You have 180 minutes for this exam. As always when I see someone cheating there will be consequences and of course you'll automatically get a F. Good luck." The teacher starts handing out our papers. Let's go, Alice. You got this.

After we finally finished our three hours exam I saw Madeline talking to Kyle. Suddenly all those pieces clicked together.

My first school day when she ruffling her hand through his hair. Kyle, talking to Adam. Kyle being distant. It all made sense that he's friends with Adam, Madeline and Alan.

"What's bothering you?" Cassie stood next to me, her eyes trying to read my face. "Kyle." I nod my head into the direction he's standing.

"He shouldn't be bothering you. Why do you even care?"

I don't know why I care. Maybe because I thought I was friends with him? Because I liked him? I couldn't really explain. "I don't know." She pats my shoulder.

"Let's focus on these last exams. These are our finals. We'll graduate soon." Definitely feels weird, knowing that we'll graduate soon. I joined pretty late but the time still went by fast.

"You're right." I sigh. "Hey ladies" Chris throws himself on us, his arms wrapping around our shoulders, he's so close I can smell his woody cologne.

"Party tonight at Tyler's. You coming?" He looked at Cassie and then his Hazel eyes pierced me. Perfect timing for us to start our plan.

I'm not attracted to Chris at all. I mean I get why all these girls think he's attractive because he really is goodlooking but he's just not my type.

Suddenly Daniel walks towards us. "Tyler invited Katelyn." He looked around, speaking softly and quiet for Tyler not to hear. "No way, he never invites her." Chris gasps playfully.

There's this feeling again. Oh I hate myself and Tyler. Seems like he has the same plan as me.

"Who's Katelyn?" I ask. "Katelyn Brown. She used to be dating Ethan Parker. Adams brother and Tyler had the biggest crush on her for years." Daniel explains pointing at the girl with the dark brown hair.

She's pretty. Really really pretty. "I've never really paid attention to her." My eyes scanned her as if I'm a robot. She has the perfect body, beautiful eyes and soft, gold glowing skin.

"She catches boys's attention pretty fast." A low chuckle grew in Chris's throat. Was I jealous? No. I mean I'm not attracted to Tyler at all. What's there to be jealous of? Nothing.

"Maybe he'll fuck her tonight. He looks like a guy that fucks around." The words dripped from my tongue like honey. Oh, god. He fucked me. We fucked. A lot.

Why am I so fucking stupid? "Could say the same about you. Watch your mouth, Madame." Chris raises an eyebrow at me. Shit.

"Sorry." Daniel stiffels a laugh. "Someone's jealous." I scoff, my eyes widening. "What's jealousy?" I lift my chin, looking like a bitch. Maybe I am a bitch?

I had to get out of here. "Anyways. I'll go now. See y'all tonight." I twisted on my heels and headed to the big front door to leave this heated situation.

It was like causing a fire and then just leaving. Can someone please murder me? Please?

I welcomed the burning liquid running down my throat. Scrunching my nose at the bitter taste. I had to get a shot right away or I wouldn't get through this fucking night without ending up apologising to Tyler.

He was already talking to Katelyn, kinda flirting with her if you can even call it flirting because his gaze turned to me to see if I'm watching him. Every. Five. Seconds.

Bastard. "Another shot?" The only thing I could smell was Daniels alcoholic breath as he whispered into my ear. "Definitely." I hold out my glass to him as he pours me another one.

Felt like the bitter taste was gone, my throat welcoming the warm liquid once again.

"There you are." Chris wrapped his arm around my shoulder, supporting his muscular body on my not that muscular body.

He smells like cigarettes and a mix of fruity cologne. I knew he just came back from smoking. "Should we start?" I whisper into his ear, making it look like we're talking about something else.

"Sure. He's been teasing you all night I see." Chris whispers back, softly biting my earlobe which took me a little off guard.

"He's not doing a single bit to me." I wrap my arms around his neck, I could feel Tyler's burning gaze almost as if he'd set me on fire any moment.

I had to concentrate not to look over at him. "He's bad at flirting with other women." Chris's arms smoothly make their way around my waist, pulling me closer.

"I can tell." If you can't hear our conversation you'd think we're talking dirty to each other but this was anything but dirty. The situation was weird for me and Chris.

We definitely noticed we're not attracted to each other, not attracted at all. "Let me kiss you." I think at this point Chris seemed more sober than I did.

His lips pressed against mine, tiny stubbles stroking my chin, making me chuckle. His lips were not as soft as Tyler's, didn't fit mine as Tyler's did, didn't make me feel the way Tyler's did but still did their job pretty good.

Our lips moved against each other, slowly and soft movements, our breaths mingling. After a short amount of time we broke apart.

"He was watching the whole time." Chris sat down on the couch and pulled me onto his lap. "His plan of making me jealous didn't really work out I guess." A small smirk played on my lips as I licked my lips satisfied.

"Tyler was right when he said you're beautiful." Wait...What? "Don't get me wrong you'll never be better than Maddie but he's right. You are beautiful." His hands slid up my hips.

Am I hearing this right? Was Tyler talking about me when he's with his boys? "Did you take drugs?" A dark laugh rose from his throat.

"Not this time." My eyes widened. "You do drugs?" He nodded. "First of all, honey. Cigarettes are drugs and second of all, yeah, I sometimes do." He shruggs, shifting in his spot, causing me to move with him.

"You think we got him jealous or do you want to continue?" I took a quick glance into Tyler's direction. He was talking to a girl that wasn't Katelyn Brown.

"Let's continue this for a bit, this is starting to get fun." I bite my lower lip, leaning forward to kiss Chris once again. His eyes caught on my breasts, which were almost spilling out of my dress.

"Caddle, my eyes are up here." I muffled between our kisses. "Sorry, Ali." I could swear a smirk just ghosted his lips.

He breaks the kiss, keeping that flirty look on his face. "Didn't mean to." He sits up, me sliding further into his lap. "I have the perfect idea."

I tilt my head, "and that idea is?" He tucks a strand of my hair out of my face. "I'll drive you home but I'll make it look like I'll take you home with me. On my bike."

This party was boring anyway. I actually just came to do my little games. He got up, me automatically getting of his lap as he walked over to Tyler, gesturing him that he's heading home.

Tyler nodded, giving him a smile. A fake one. Fake as fuck. I know he's pissed. Chris returned to me and took my hand.

"Don't you think it's the Cherry on top? Come on. Be my backpack, Alice. We'll have him all jealous then." I grin, he's good.

He takes me outside, looking at me with a expecting gaze. "Fine." I sigh and get on the bike, swinging my leg over and sitting down behind him.

"Put your hands on the tank. Better safety." He says and places my hands on the tank.

"They're coming out." He whispers as he puts his helmet on.

Seems like Tyler is saying goodbye to Katelyn and the other girl he talked to. As soon as they come out, Chris starts his engine.

A loud growl echoing through the clear night air. He reeved his bike one more time and I bumped into his back as we drove off, my hair flowing in the wind.

I think we got him. The cherry on top. Chris was right.

"Thanks for bringing me home." He flipped up his visor, his Hazel eyes forming into a smile. "Of course. Good night, Alice." As soon as I entered the house I heard him drive off.

Seems like everyone was already sleeping, I took off my heels and tiptoed up the stairs into my room. Falling onto the bed.

I think kinda got myself into trouble today... Maybe a little? Tyler didn't deserve me. He deserved someone way better. God, I'm such a bitch.

While all these thoughts ran through my mind my eyes kind of closed.

I didn't remove my makeup, didn't take off my dress, didn't brush my teeth and didn't drink a glass of water to prevent myself from a big fat headache tomorrow.

My body felt too heavy for it. Falling asleep easier then I thought. Mind spinning with everything that happened today.

Welcome Dreamland.
