Chapter 223
Runemaster in the Last Days
The next day, Riya looked at Samuel who looked for her early in the morning speechlessly.
She wanted to run away and didnât want to interact with him but after Samuel mentioned about Sophia and Melly, Riya had to stop.
"Sophia form the contract with Melly?" Riya asked, a bit surprised, but at the same time, she was also happy.
Because Riya had the feeling that the world would become more dangerous in the future. She hoped that her friends would have some methods to protect themselves.
So far, Amelia was under the care of Samuel, so her strength would definitely get stronger in time.
Of course, Ameliaâs laziness was still a problem.
Thankfully, she has a competitive nature against her younger brother, so the two of them were making trouble and making progress together.
Ruby was in the research institute and Riya guessed that Ruby should not want to follow the path of training to become stronger. Perhaps, she would spend some time meditating but her focus would be researching.
Considering that the researchers might become important position in the future, Riya chose to leave her be.
After that, there was also Sophia.
For Sophia, Riya was not entirely sure which path was suitable until she saw the interaction between Sophia and Melly. A beast master would be the best path since it didnât require Sophia to train by herself.
With Sophiaâs personality that liked to play even more than Amelia, Riya felt that it would be the best.
Because she only needed to do what she loved to do.
As for Victoria...
Riya was not entirely sure.
After all, she was not too close to Victoria and the latter didnât usually spend time with her when they were in the university back then. So Riya chose to wait and see if there was any suitable path for Victoria in the future.
For now, she would let her live her own life first.
"Yes." Samuel nodded. "Stephen asks me to help their family check Mellyâs aptitude. Itâs not that easy to check a magic beastâs potential, so I hope you can come along to see."
Riya showed a thoughtful look. "How do you plan to test it?"
"Test the speed and power of Melly. Afterwards, Iâll check the mana concentration within her blood."
There were not many things that they could do. But with some data, Samuel should be able to know how strong Melly is.
"Check her reaction speed too," Riya added. "Melly might need to fight on the frontline a lot, so if her reaction speed is not fast enough, she might die.
A good magic beast should be able to do it."
Samuel nodded. "Sure."
"In that case, let me bring Mo to come along." Riya thought about her white tiger. "He might provide a good comparison. This white tigerâs strength is only around rank 1 magic beast but heâs growing very quickly."
Well, he was growing up quickly because Riya fed him a lot of magic beastsâ corpses.
In that small space, Mo has been feasting since yesterday. Thanks to that, his strength and mana had grown considerably.
After that, Riya helped Mo to digest quickly.
"Ok."
Samuel readily agreed.
In this way, the two of them made their way to the research institute with Mo following behind them. Amelia was actually curious too but her brother provoked her again, making her choose to go to work instead.
Riya looked at the two siblings and felt amused with this interaction.
Every day was very lively because of Amelia and Sean.
Sophia and Stephen were already waiting at the research institute along with Melly, who was busy scratching the dog pillow handed to him. The doll was completely destroyed because Mellyâs strength had increased and Melly couldnât control his strength well and just have fun.
"Brother Samuel, Riya," Sophia greeted the two people with a smile.
"It seems Melly is still no different from before." Riya chuckled and rubbed Mellyâs head.
*Woof!*
Runemaster in the Last Days ï¤Chapter 222: Bicker If Riya were to know what they were thinking, she would tell them that Mo can go faster than those vehicles.
There was no doubt about that!
"Alright, Mo and Melly will be tested in the underground base," Samuel said. "Follow me."
No one else in this room had access to that place, so he had to be the one to bring them there.
