Sequel Sneak Peek

{Here's a little sneak peak at the official sequel. I'm not 100% sure when it is coming out but I do have a mini sequel to this story called Haunted Harts on my profile now}

Oh, I remember it like it was yesterday. The day I got into college. These small-town people have gotten so boring. Every weekend, the same party, the same drama, the same Monday gossip. College will change all that.

I'll make new friends every weekend and won't remember their names the next morning. I'll make out with whatever boy or girl catches my eye then ghost them when they want to get serious. The boys here won't touch me because my ex-boyfriend is somehow friends with everyone and somehow I am the only queer girl living in this shitty little town.

I'll make plenty of friends in my four years there, I'm not too worried about it. But this first friend. This first friend is special. They will be my built-in best friend. We're going to be living together, they'll have to like me. This email sitting in front of me will give me everything I need to know about them.

I filled out the roommate application perfectly. I want a neat roommate, not a messy one. I am not ok with pets. Pets will just make the room messy. I put all my interests in and wrote that more than happy with the occasional party. I also put in that I am studying psychology. I know whoever this is I will be 100 percent compatible with. Oh, I can't wait. We're going to become best friends so quickly.

I open the email and my building name and room number flash across the screen.

The name is cringey but at least I know it is one of the newest buildings on campus. It was my second choice for housing. I scroll down through some information about the building to get my roommate's name.
