“Woof! Woof! Woof!” Mengqi barked a few times, as if responding to her.

“Did you bring it back?”

“What else?” he retorted.

Gu Qiangwei was grateful in her heart.

After all, she did not know this man before, and she had even offended him in the mall.

“Thank you,” she said sincerely.

Yet, these three words stirred a strange emotion in Qin Sijue’s heart, one that even he could not fully understand.

He did not respond to her and turned to leave the ward.

As she watched his figure disappear from the door of the ward, Gu Qiangwei withdrew her gaze and looked at Mengqi.

Its spirit seemed much better than before.

Could it be that he had taken it to the hospital when they had lost sight of each other yesterday?

Until lunchtime, Gu Qiangwei did not see Qin Sijue again, and lunch was also brought to her by a nurse.

“Excuse me, when can I be discharged?”
