Gu Qiangwei paused.

Who else could it be? Of course, it was the one who adored him, Qiao Muxue, her immediate superior!

Gu Qiangwei did not speak, but Shen Mochen seemed to have already guessed.

“Is it Muxue?”

She still did not speak.

“Sij—” She paused and quickly corrected herself, “Mochen, really, there’s no need, I’m going to hang up now!”

Without waiting for Shen Mochen to reply, Gu Qiangwei had already cut off the communication.

Hearing the sound of the call being disconnected, Shen Mochen was still somewhat worried.

Now, he could only hope that Mr. Huang wouldn’t make things difficult for Qiangwei.

It was Gu Qiangwei’s first time at such a place; after parking the car, she walked into the glittering grand entrance of the ‘Zuixian Residence’.

As soon as she entered, her phone rang.

Seeing the name ‘Qiao Muxue’ light up on the screen, she hesitated for half a second before answering.

“Hello? Gu Qiangwei, have you arrived yet!? Mr. Huang is getting anxious!” Qiao Muxue’s sharp and harsh voice came through the phone.

“I’m here, I’m at the main entrance. Which room are you in?”

“2F, Crystal Splendor!”

“Alright, I got it.”

After hanging up, Gu Qiangwei turned and headed upstairs.

She was merely a junior stylist assistant at the entertainment company, but because she spoke fluent English, she was chosen to be the interpreter for Mr. Huang tonight!

Arriving at the ‘Crystal Splendor’ room, Gu Qiangwei straightened her clothes, then pushed the door and entered.

As soon as she entered the room, the dim yellow lighting complemented the boisterous atmosphere, men and women crammed on the sofas, revelling in luxury and debauchery.

“She’s here.”

In a moment of distraction, she saw Qiao Muxue’s enchanting figure approaching, arms crossed and gazing at Gu Qiangwei as she walked in.

“That man over there is Mr. Huang. From now on, for the next 24 hours, you are responsible for all his activities in Jingcheng!” In the dim lighting, a cunning flicker passed through Qiao Muxue’s glamorous amber-black eyes!

The lighting was too dim for Gu Qiangwei to notice.

However, her words made Gu Qiangwei startle.

“Are you saying, I have to stick with Mr. Huang starting now!?”
