Living Silently
"Austin"
"We have to take the boys on the first day in the morning. Then you need to get the oil changed on your car after work... Then," I smiled as he struggled to finish his sentence. I currently had his legs in the air and my tongue swirling around the sensitive parts of him. He gripped the covers and bit down on his bottom lip trying hard not to moan. He was a little stressed since he had a mild case of obsessive-compulsive disorder.
"Papi it's hard to talk when you do that," he moaned into the pillow turning his head.
"That's the point," I said letting his legs down and sliding off the bed just to pull my underwear off and climb back between his legs. I looked down at him while positioning myself at his entrance before slowly pushing into him causing him to moan and I could see his toes curling. His eyes were sealed shut as I worked myself all the way into him. Soon his legs were wrapped around my waist as I slowly stroked in and out of him.
"Baby open your eyes," I said looking down at him slowly. He looked up at me with his body moving to match my rhythm. I wasn't really trying to put on a show I just wanted an intimate moment with Noel since we managed to keep the boys out of our bed for the night. We stayed in that position until we both climaxed then took a shower and went to sleep. I woke up first since I needed to get ready for work. Noel was laying next to me bundled under the covers while I had been barely covered the whole night. He did that all the time which was annoying but also great because I was happy to just have him sleeping near me.
I loved the job I just wished it didn't start until nine so I wouldn't have to get out of bed so early. Instead of complaining I got out of bed and took care of my grooming habits opting for a simple black suit along with a plain black tie with herringbone patterned socks for some personality.
"Noel time to get up," I said kissing his cheek before leaving out the room almost tripping over Amar who laid on the ground with his blanket and pillow along with Ian. Amar was seriously afraid of the dark and I had no idea how to break the habit while Ian just followed his brother.
"Hey what are you guys doing on the floor," I asked waking them up.
"I had a nightmare," Amar said rubbing his eyes.
"Lil Man you have to sleep in your bed okay now you and Ian go brush your teeth and wash your face. Put your uniforms on and Daddy will make breakfast," I spoke to them and they slowly began moving. When they were in their room I went to the kitchen and began making my morning coffee which kept me from killing my coworkers. I wasn't a morning person anymore, in the firehouse, you could have called me at any time and I'd be ready to go but my body had acclimated to not being on call at all times.
"Good morning," Noel said walking up behind me and kissing me quickly before going to the refrigerator. I looked at him and had to admit he looked good in his dark blue and white floral print silk shirt that hung in his closet but he never wore. He matched it with really dark jeans that fit perfectly and some loafers.
"You look good," I said giving him another look. He pulled out some toaster waffles and popped them in the toaster before getting orange juice and pouring three cups while the aroma of coffee filled the air.
"Thank you," he responded just as the boys ran in.
"Good morning dads'," Ian said. Noel smiled and dropped down to his level giving him a kiss on the cheek before he adjusted his creamy white short sleeves shirt. He tucked the back in so he wasn't walking around with ducktails. Ian went to put his hands in his mouth and recoiled the moment his middle finger hit his tongue. Noel had coated his fingers with bitter gloss to curb the habit and it was definitely working.
"No good morning from you Amar," Noel asked after finishing fussing over Ian and moving to Amar who looked sleepy. Noel had to rebutton his cardigan but otherwise, he was fine.
"Goodmorning," he said before giving Noel a kiss on the cheek. Noel told them to get in the chairs before he placed their simple meal in front of them which they devoured as if they hadn't had more than their share of dumplings last night. When I finished sipping my coffee we left the house Noel's hand in mine all the way to his car since he had the booster seats. When I got in the passenger seat and began messing with the radio while Now began driving to the school. I could tell that Ian was nervous since while Amar was ready to turn on the charm.
We all got out once Noel parked and walked into the building where signs were posted for each grade and where their classes were at.
"Alright kindergarten first," Noel said scanning the board for Ian's name until he found it.
"Looks like you have Mr. Yost for the year," Noel said looking at Ian who looked like he was going to cry. We had to call ahead to get him a male teacher since he wasn't all the way deprogrammed from his distrust of women.
"Now first grade," Noel said looking for Amar's name until he found it near the bottom of the board.
"Mrs. Zammit," Noel said turning to Amar.
"Alright let's find Mr. Yost first," I said wanting to move things along so I wouldn't be too late for work. We followed the arrows to the pre-k and kindergarten section and found Ian's new class pretty quick. The door was closed so I opened it. My hand didn't reach the handle before Ian was holding my leg.
"Buddy come on now, this is going to be fun you're going to make new friends with cool toys. Then you get to learn things. Then you study and graduate from here than high school and go to college. It's not going to be hard at all millions of kids do this every day, now let's go make a good first impression," I told him removing his hands from my leg and grabbing one escorting him into the small classroom filled with multiple small chairs along with a lot of families with their small children standing around as the kids spoke to their classmates. Ian was taking small steps inside before an older white man with a gray comeover walked up to us.
"Hello, I'm Mr. Yost and who are you," he asked looking down at Ian who looked up at him skeptically.
"Ian," he told him.
"Do you have a last name," he asked holding his hand out to shake.
"Robinson," he said reaching out to give his teacher a handshake.
"Okay well, how about you go meet your classmates while I talk to your parents," Mr. Yost told him before looking up to us. Ian looked at Noel who nodded encouragingly before walking over to a corner with building blocks.
"Well hello, sorry I like to introduce myself to the child first before I speak to the parents since I won't be seeing you guys every day. I've been told about his situation and I want you to know that he will be fine in this class. I wish I had more time but, I have to greet all the parents but feel free to drop by at any time," he said before shaking both of our hands. I looked over at Ian who was engrossed in building a structure with a deep skinned little boy.
Noel walked over to say goodbye before we left and made our way to Amar's class which was farther down the hall to the first-grade classes and his was the first classroom on the right. He didn't even wait before he walked in like he owned the room going to find his seat which was in the middle of the classroom and placing his book bag on the surface of the desk before going to mingle with some of the kids who weren't with parents.
"Well looks like I have a social butterfly," A middle eastern woman with a hijab walked over to us. She looked young but wasn't floundering as if this was maybe her second or third year teaching,
"Hi I'm Mrs. Zammit, yes I'm young but that just means I have a lot of potential that hasn't been extinguished. Also, all of my classes so far have had a one hundred percent pass rate and seventy percent off the class were reading above grade level and five of them were placed in the gifted program," she said with a smile proud of her accomplishments and she earned that right.
"Well I'm Noel and this is Austin we're Amar's parents," Noel introduced both of us.
"Well it's nice to meet both of you, I emailed both of you a list of his homework assignments for the month. It's a working calendar so it may change but it should help you keep on track with his grades and progress throughout the year," she said with a smile.
"That's great, I think Amar wants us to leave now," Noel said and I looked over at Amar who was looking at us using his hands to wave us away. I laughed a little before walking over to him and pulling him into a big hug and giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Have a great day," I said looking at his embarrassed face before leaving with Noel to the car so that I wouldn't be late for work and he wouldn't be late for his online class check-in. I really like domestic life and I couldn't wait for us to be a complete family.
