“Nash! Lead everyone to the yard! We’ll start the swordsmanship lesson!” I asked Nash to lead everyone for the swordsmanship lesson that Ren usually teaches before Ren comes, I’m the one who teaches the kids the swordsmanship, and now that he had gone to the magic academy, the position of the swordsmanship instructor went back to me.

“Nash?” I opened Nash’s room but he’s nowhere to found

I opened the rooms of the other kids, but it’s also empty. Seeing that, I went immediately to the yard and found that everyone had already gathered.

“Sister Elena! What took you so long! We started the training first because we’re tired of waiting for you!” Said Nash with his usual cheerful smile.

I could only leak a weak sigh and warmly smiled.

(Ren really boost their spirit to this extend, huh) (Elena)

Some of the kids including Nash had reached the advanced swordsman rank, Oz’s lesson gave us the shortcut of cultivation. And me myself, I finally reached the bottleneck of master swordsman rank, I could feel that my breakthrough won’t be long, I surely will surprise Ren when he’s back.

Remembering about Ren, I reflectively held the necklace that is the ring Ren gave me before he went to the capital that I made into a necklace. In the middle of a night, after dinner, he indifferently gave it to me, saying that it’ll boost my power in case I’ll be facing a strong opponent. Even though it’s not romantic at all, I still feel happy.

Even though he already gives me the ring, he still gave me that weird card that seems to have another strange power, it means that he really cares about me, or maybe the kids, but it’s okay, I still happy because of that.

Holding the ring that I’ve made into a necklace, I smiled and took the kids’ attention.

“Kids! Let’s start the lesson!” (Elena)

Oz takes a peek outside the library’s window.

(Ah! Snap! I was too absorbed in learning all of the magic! Times flies very fast every time I’m too absorbed in something…) (Oz)

“Eh? wait… Fenrir?” Oz dumbfoundedly muttered as he’s making sure that he doesn’t mishear it.

(Yes! This is me!) (Fenrir)

Poof!

Two small animals appeared in front of Oz.

“You guys back!” Oz delightfully said.

“Yeah! For about 4 hours ago! Jeez! Master, you really didn’t care about us, huh!” Fenrir shouted and pouted.

“Forgive me Fenrir, I got too absorbed in reading, let me compensate you with a huge serve of dinner later,” (Oz)

“Okay!” Fenrir reflectively answered cheerfully.

“Hey! Wait! You can’t bribe me with food!” (Fenrir)

“Hehehe, my apology is sincere, you know? What happened to both of you anyway?” Oz asked both of them.

“I believe we’re the one who supposed to be asking that question, master…” Asked Reo with an unusually serious tone.

“Reo… You don’t need to mention it now,” (Fenrir)

“I don’t need your permission, Fenrir. Just once, I will only let myself lose so many things to the demon emperor just once, I won’t let him have his way once more,” Reo said with a firm tone.

“What happened, master? Please tell us. I will never forget that aura of malice and destruction. It’s that bastard, right?”  (Reo)

“Calm down, Reo. It is indeed, him. He said that he’s aiming to summon someone who had a thing called the hero seed, but rather than the hero, I’m the one who got summoned instead,” (Oz)

“We converse a bit, and then we fight,” (Oz)

“You fight with the demon emperor, master?” (Fenrir)

“Yea, in that place, somehow, I regain my former body, and my qi cultivation got increased by multiple folds. But even with that enormous power, I still can’t defeat him, he’s way too powerful. So I use a self-destruct technique to injure him, but he hit me with one of his attacks too,” (Oz)

“Does it hurt him, master?” (Reo)

“It does, but his attack that hits me hurts more. I got cursed by him and got my qi cultivation blocked as the outcome, it really gave me lots of problems,” Said Oz with a sigh.

“T-to think master could hurt him…” (Reo)

“Don’t expect too much, I may hurt him, but I won’t be surprised if he appeared once more fully healed. But at least I got a picture of strength, and a picture of the enemy my empire will face in the future, at least I could get something from that fight,” (Oz)

“I see… By the way, master. What are you doing here?” (Fenrir)

“Don’t you just said that you waited for me for hours? I’m reading magic books, you can’t read?” (Oz)

“I could! I mean, people usually don’t depend on magic books because of their complexity. And only by understanding the magic books don’t really ensure you to be able to use magic, so people usually avoid it. But why does muster seems to be so absorbed by it?” (Fenrir)

“Heh! Be proud of your master! See this! magic mastery card, activate!” Together with Oz’s words, a huge floating grimoire with lots of color on its cover appeared.

“This is?” (Fenrir)

“See it by yourself!” Oz opens the grimoire and a dense amount of fire, ice, wind, thunder, nature, and light mana gushed out of the grimoire.

“W-w-w-w-what is this master!? It had a dense amount of mana from all elements except death!” (Fenrir)

“And now this! Grimoire of death!” Oz shouted, and now a huge floating pitch-black grimoire appeared from the thin air, Oz opens it and now a dense aura of death appears too.

“All elements are filling this room!” (Fenrir)

*Sound of a book being closed*

Oz closed all of the books and the enormous amounts of mana disappeared.

With a disordered breath, Fenrir asked: “What the hell just happened, master? What is that?”

“That. Are my new power. I’m here because I’m collecting all magics from all of the magic books that exist here,” Explained Oz.

“I see… So all of that power is from all of the magic you’ve collected?” Asked Reo.

“Yea, I’ve collected roughly 30 spells of each element, and this floor still had countless of them. I can’t imagine how strong I’ll be,” Oz excitedly said.

“It’s great, master! But will it suffice for facing the demon emperor?” (Fenrir)

“I doubt it will, but at least it’ll help, I also trying to increase all of my other strengths, it would be better if the heroes succeed in defeating that bastard without needing me to join the battle, though,” Said Oz with a wry smile.

“It can’t be helped master, the strong always have a big burden on their shoulders, it’s the destiny of the strong,” (Reo)

“Indeed… you may be right, Reo. But I hope it’s not true, let’s have some stroll, are you guys hungry?” (Oz)

“Hm… Not really, master. We don’t really in the mood of eating, right now. We’re still stabilizing our body,” (Reo)

“Yea, I feel a little bit sick, maybe tomorrow, master,” (Fenrir)

“That’s rare, well it’s fortunate for my wallet though, then let’s just have a stroll at this capital city, I need to get some fresh air,” (Oz)

“Ren, why do you look so sleepy?” Alfred asked the sleepy-eyed Oz.

“Huh? Ah, I forgot to sleep last night,” (Oz)

“What did you do the whole night?” (Alfred)

Inside of Oz’s head, both of the spirits are sleeping so soundly that Oz could hear Fenrir’s snore. yesterday, they strolled a little bit after getting out of the library, but when Oz went to the inn to rent a room and grab a little food, Fenrir and Reo suddenly want to eat, they eat a whole bunch of foods until they full.

Because they’re too full to sleep, both of them couldn’t sleep and keep on disturbing Oz, making Oz couldn’t sleep too. So they conversed until dawn, and when Oz want to get to sleep, the inn’s staff knocked on the door saying that breakfast is ready.

“Just some stuff,” Oz answered weakly and yawns.

“Ren, your eyes look like you just got punched,” (Edreale)

“It’s because I didn’t sleep, Edreale,” (Oz)

“I wonder if you want me to make you look like you really got punched, Ren?” (Sen)

“No thanks,” (Oz)

“Morning! Lively as usual, huh. Your face looks so sleepy, Ren,” Albus finally arrived and asked Oz.

“Morning, Albus. Yea, I got no sleep last night,” (Oz)

“He didn’t get any sleep last night,” (Edreale)

“Um… I just said that, Edreale,” (Oz)

“Morning,” Peter, the last one they’re waiting said.

“Morning Peter, so, we’re all complete, right?” (Oz)

“”Yea!”” Answered everyone.

“Then let’s go! To the magic academy of Grandaria, the Avalon magic academy!
