“No buts! Go back to hiding, I’ll at least permit you to enroll at the magic academy to make you forget the idea of being a king, but you’re not permitted to do anything conspicuous, now go!” The queen said without turning his back towards her only son.

“Y-yes, mother…” The young king could only follow his mother’s orders obediently and disappear to the shadows.

The queen leaks a heavy sigh as she stares blankly to the dark sky.

“Chris, you must be strong. Now, you might feel that you’re mighty and invincible, you might think that the people you could trust everyone. “I thought that I’ll win that time…” Oz sighs.

Old man Kyron’s expression suddenly went serious.

I believe that you’ll be able to defeat him if you’re more experienced on mana control, even though watching that old bone surprised is fun, the kingdom will be in danger if he lost. “That is why Oxius erase the spectators’ memories of your battles for the sake of the kingdom,” Old man Kyron said.

“I see… Wait, erase what?” Oz asked to confirm whether what he just heard is true.

“Erase their memories. For a magic god, doing that trick is simple. The queen asks him to erase all of the spectators’ memories,” (Old man Kyron)

“Including my friends’ memories?” (Oz)

“Nope, their memories are kept intact as your gift of victory, so you still have some witness of your great battle. The queen said that she might want to meet you one day,” (Old man Kyron)

“Yea, by the way, Ren. When did you get that curse at your right arm?” Old man Kyron’s eyes suddenly went sharp.

Seeing the persistent old man Kyron, Oz could only sigh helplessly and tell him everything.

Not long after old man Kyron left, Albus, Alfred, Edreale, Sen, and Peter enters the clinic.

“Ren!” Edreale shouted right away when she saw Oz and approaches him.

“Hey, guys…” Answered Oz as he turns his head towards them while his body’s still lying at the bed.

“What, why does all of you have a dark expression?” Oz asked Albus and co that approaches Oz with a sour expression.

“It’s unfair, how could they erase the memories of almost everyone, you supposed to get the credit of having the best and the most intense fight!” (Edreale)

“Yea, even the ice princess got her memory erased too,” (Alfred)

“Ice princess? Does the princess watched my fight too?” Asked Oz.

“Of course, Ren. Nobles, generals, soldiers, and the royalties watched you. But well, the princess is watching as a candidate student like us though,” (Alfred)

“What? The princess is entering the magic academy too?” (Oz)

“Yea… Hm?” Alfred’s face approaches Oz’s with a weird grin.

“Does the strange Ren had finally get interested in a girl? And the first girl is the princess?” (Alfred)

“Of course no,” Oz pushes Alfred’s face away.

“I’ve got a problem with that troublesome princess before,” When Oz remembers the arrogant princess’s tone back then, he gets a little bit irritated.

“T-troublesome? You might be the only one who dares to say that about her, Ren…” Albus rebuked with a wry smile.

“By the way… Sorry, Ren, my father went too far to you, luckily you’re finally awake after 3 days,” Albus apologetically said.

“It’s fine… Eh, wait, 3 days?” (Oz)

After Oz fainted, Albus and co immediately dashed to the battle arena to check him up. But suddenly, the magic god, Oxius flew high above them and cast a grand spell that covers all the spectators with red flames.

It seems that it’s the spell that the magic god uses to erase the spectators’ memories. After that, the commentator immediately announced that the 3rd test is done, and all spectators are permitted to go home.

On the next day, the magic academy announced the one who passed the test to enroll at the magic academy, and there is a new class made at Oz’s generation.

“A new class?” Oz asked Albus.

“Yes, including you, the six of us will be entering that new class, they called it the special class,” Albus said with a shrug.

“Special class?” (Oz)

“Yea, it’s only this year that a lot of sword saint rank students enter the magic academy at the same time. The academy considered that we’re going to need a different class than the other so that our improvement will not be hindered by the slow progress of other classes,” (Albus)

“I see… Wait, I’m only at the master swordsman rank, why do I need to enter the special class too?” (Oz)
