Chapter 82: A Simple-Minded Husband (1)
The Former Wife of Invisible Wealthy Man
Chen Shu was stunned. He even stood at the entrance and didnât come in immediately. He was struck dumb by Ye Suiâs behavior and was at a loss.
Ye Sui was doing yoga while watching Chen Shuâs reaction from the corner of her eye. This personâs mood had always been concealed; she simply couldnât guess what he was thinking.
In order to give Chen Shu another dose of strong medicine, Ye Sui changed her movements, deliberately choosing a posture that highlighted her curves. She lifted her left leg high and leaned back slightly.
Ye Sui slowly stretched out one hand to hold her ankle while the other hand reached forward.
Pretending to be calm on the surface, Ye Sui complained in her heart that she hadnât done yoga for a while. Her body lost flexibility as a result. It was a bit difficult to do these movements.
But it would be worth it if Chen Shu could see her like this.
Ye Sui caught a glimpse of Chen Shuâs actions. He stood at the door for a while and then bent down to take off his shoes. Hence, she could not see his expression clearly.
Ye Sui tried her best to maintain the posture, intending to hold out until Chen Shu entered the living room.
Chen Shu took off his shoes, put on his slippers, and arranged them neatly again. As time went by, Ye Sui could barely hold on.
This short period was unusually long for Ye Sui. Fortunately, Chen Shu walked in from the door, enabling her to slowly drop her leg.
Holding her almost cramped leg quietly, Ye Sui stopped him, âChen Shu, do you want to do yoga with me?â
In order to prove to Chen Shu that yoga was not difficult at all, Ye Sui once again performed the difficult moves at close range.
âYou see, it is very simple.â
Ye Sui raised her foot again, especially to show Chen Shu her perfect figure. However, her wish did not come true. Before she could grab her ankle, her body slumped to the aside.
Because of her over-excited desire to lure him, coupled with the looming cramps a while ago, when Ye Sui attempted such a posture, she failed to maintain her balance.
Wasnât I supposed to display my charm towards Chen Shu? It would be nice not to embarrass myself.
Ye Sui exclaimed and fell to the side. Chen Shu noticed the odd situation and immediately walked a few steps, trying to catch her.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Unexpectedly, Chen Shu was a step too slow. As a result, Ye Sui sprawled on the floor, her alluring image all but gone.
Ye Suiâs arm was too numb to feel the pain for a while. Chen Shu squatted beside her, held her shoulder, and supported her to sit up.
When the pain kicked in, tears almost spilled out from her eyes. However, Chen Shu was present by her side, so Ye Sui had to grit her teeth and kept the last dregs of her self-esteem as a woman. She did not dare to cry out.
Chen Shu frowned. âDoes it hurt?â
Ye Sui shook her head immediately. âIt doesnât hurt at all.â
Chen Shu helped Ye Sui get up. Inadvertently, his hand pressed on the sore spot, and she let out a small cry. Immediately after, she quickly closed her mouth.
Chen Shu: â...â
A few moments before, she had said that it didnât hurt. But now, she was supported by Chen Shu and limped to the sofa to sit down.
Fearing Chen Shuâs misunderstanding, she explained, âIt will not hurt after a while. Yoga is a common practice.â
Chen Shu obviously disagreed with Ye Suiâs statement. He glanced at the yoga mat scattered on the ground and said seriously, âDonât do it later; itâs not safe.â
Wanting to save her self-esteem and to show her charm, she tried hard to reason. âWhen I did it before, I never fell. Itâs the first time today.â
Because after seeing Chen Shu, she had become restless. Besides, while doing yoga, she had to pay attention to his reaction. It was no surprise that she would fall.
âDonât do this until you recover.â Chen Shuâs brows furrowed, and his attitude remained firm. âDonât do these difficult moves next time.â
Ye Sui couldnât tell him the reason, even if she wanted to. If it werenât for you, I wouldnât do these actions out of the blue.
