Chapter 295 - More Anger

“Who knew that we were going to be stopped by Wei Zhiqian’s people on our way there,” Xu Mingjing explained as she continued to sob. “They said they were going to make Keqing late for half an hour because Mo Mo had had to leave half an hour early when she took her exams. I know you guys thought that Keqing did it with ill intentions back then, but I never thought you would still be angry about it and wait until it was Keqing’s turn to take the exams to exact your revenge.

The mother wiped at her tears before continuing, “But, even if Mo Mo had to leave half an hour early, she still managed to finish the test. Keqing was half an hour late, and she couldn’t even take the exam. Do you know what that will do to her final score? That’s 150 points less. You know how tedious the high school leaving exams are. One wrong answer, and your future might be ruined. Why didn’t you just tell us you guys were still angry? You didn’t have to hide it and wait for now to get back at us. Even if you’d wanted to, how could you ruin Keqing’s exams?”

The Tan family was completely surprised by the news and were now looking at each other.

Never did they expect that Wei Zhiqian would do such a huge favor for them behind their backs.

“Mo Mo, why didn’t you tell me that you were still angry at me?” Yuan Keqing asked with tears all over her face. “Were you planning this the whole time? So that you could take your revenge when I took my exams?”

“Do you really think Mo Mo is a backstabber like you?” Tan Jinsheng scoffed. “Not everyone is like you.”

Yuan Keqing cried even harder after hearing that. “Why? Why are you guys bullying me? I didn’t do that on purpose, and I even apologized for it. You guys even said you would forgive me, and I believed that. Who would have thought that after all this time, you would still be angry about it and sabotage my exams.”

“How did you even come to the conclusion that we were the ones who did that? Didn’t you clearly say that it was Wei Zhiqian? Have you ever thought about what would happen to you when you used Wei Zhiqian to harm Mo Mo? Do you think he’s the type of person who would sit still and let you use him like that? To be honest, you’re probably the only person I’ve ever met to have the guts to use him,” Tan Jinqi laughed. “Since you dared to use him, then you should be prepared to face his wrath, no? What does this have to do with us?”

“Are you still playing innocent?” Yuan Keqing sobbed. “You said the same thing as the person that Wei Zhiqian sent to stop us!”

“And that is proof that Wei Zhiqian is punishing you for using him.” Tan Jinqi smiled. “So, how does this have anything to do with Mo Mo? Even you admit that it was Wei Zhiqian who sent those people, not us. Stop blaming other people for your own mistakes.”

Yuan Keqing could not say anything.

She had fallen into Tan Jinqi’s trap. She had not expected that the oldest brother of the Tan family was just baiting her to get her to say the wrong thing.

“But, Wei Zhiqian said he wanted to make Keqing late for half an hour because she made Mo Mo leave half an hour before the exam ended,” Xu Mingjing argued as her body trembled. “In the end, he did that for Mo Mo. We’re a family. How can you do this to Keqing? Sis, Keqing is your niece. You watched her grow from a baby. How…how can you let this happen to her?”
