“Is it any good to be worthy of you?” Tan Mo asked seriously. “By looking up to you, can you help our classmates improve their grades and become good students? Or can you guarantee that the Qin family can help their family? If you don’t like them, like you don’t like me, will you make the Qin family target the Tan family and give the Tan family a difficult time?”

The students behind Qin Muxiao exchanged looks.

Although it felt like anything was wrong, it sounded reasonable.

Tan Mo shook her head and pointed to Ming Yeqing. “Ming Yeqing was nice to me. He wanted to be friends with me and took my side.”

Wei Zhiqian’s knitted brows relaxed, and he glanced at Ming Yeqing. Then he nodded and said, “The Ming family’s children have always been good.”

“As for the others,” Tan Mo glanced at her classmates, “they are just afraid of the Qin family.”

“Aren’t you?” Qin Mufeng smiled.

“I have Little Uncle here. I have nothing to be afraid of.” Tan Mo kissed up to Wei Zhiqian without hesitation.
