Chapter 17

Ellie's P.O.V

Off course I didn't move, I thought about it but then thought against it. Kai was already annoyed at me I didn't need him getting even more mad and lashing out on me. I still don't understand why he just won't leave me alone but I guess I'll just have to get used to it and learn to ignore him because let's be real even if I did escape here he'd probably find me anyway I mean he's a Mafia leader and look how fast he found out where I work and he didn't even know my name! It's sad to think that this is my life now, stuck with the Mafia.

Kai has been in the shower for about 20 minuets now and I'm starting to wonder what's taking him so long, I mean he could stay in there forever I wouldn't care. I'm just curious. I'm still sitting in the same spot but I'm starting to get thirsty, I don't know wether or not to go downstairs and get a drink. He wouldn't be mad at me would he? I mean I'm only going to get a glass of water.

I don't care I'm going to get a drink, he's not the boss of me and he can't tell me what to do. I get up and walk downstairs towards the kitchen. I hear voices and was about to turn around when I recognised one of the voices was Lucas so I continue and walk into the kitchen.

"Hey Lucas" He turns around and his face drops once he sees me. What's wrong with him?

"Are you o-okay?" I don't know why I stuttered, maybe it's because I'm worried about Lucas, he's the closest thing I have to a friend okay I'm not going to lie no more I genuinely consider him as my friend and I know I shouldn't but I don't care, he's been nice to me and kept me company.

"Lucas?" He just turns around to the man who was with him and then they both walk past me. I'm not going to lie it hurt, I thought he was my friend, why is he ignoring me?

I ran out after him and grabbed his arm. "What is wrong with you? Why are you ignoring me I thought we were friends?" I said, I'm not going to lie I was annoyed but mostly upset.

"I-I'm sorry I can't talk to you Ellie" He whispers, I'm so confused right now why not?

"What why?"

"Kai will kill me" Off course I nearly forgot 'your not to speak with any boy, or look at them for that matter, can't have my girl talking to other boys' ugh I hate him!

"Please Lucas, don't do this your the only one here I trust don't listen to Kai" I beg

"I'm sorry I can't" he whispers

"NO you can't do this! Don't listen to Kai he's just..."

"Just what?" I froze when I was cut off by his familiar voice, Shit I'm dead!

I didn't turn around but I felt his presence behind me and then his warm breath on my neck causing shivers to run down my spine. He grabbed my waist and turned me to face him. His face was blank not showing of any emotions and not giving me any hints of how mad he is right now with me either.

"Well princess, what were you going to say?" He asks looking at me straight in the eyes, his tone was just daring me not to answer him and as much as I wanted to answer him I couldn't bring myself to say it.

Kai looks away from me and up to Lucas who was still standing there with the other man "Lucas, Harvey leave" he says angrily, uh oh I'm in trouble now.

"Sorry boss" Lucas says before walking away with the man who's name I now know is Harvey.

"So what were you going to call me?" He asks, grabbing me by the arm tightly making me let out a small wince, he losses his grip and then continues walking to his room.

"I-I u-uh Nothing?" It sounded more like a question but I didn't know what else to say, I'm not going to call him a dick to his face, he'll shoot me in the head and leave me to rot in a river.

"You really know how to annoy me don't you? I feel like you enjoy watching me get mad. First you keep denying that your mine, then you ignore me and leave my room when I tell you to stay sitting on the bed and then you disobey me again by talking to another boy and now your not answering my questions" He shouts, okay if he wasn't mad before he sure is now. We reach his room and he throws me onto his bed before I could get up he grabs me and pulls me over his lap.

"I want you to count how many times I hit you, you don't do as I say I add another 5 got it?"

"P-please don't"

"I said got it?" He says angrily

"Y-yes" I whisper

25 times he smacked me, 25! He added 5 more because I forgot number 13 and he said that I was trying to get him to stop faster. I wasn't I just generally didn't realise. My bum is so sore and I'm just lying here on my stomach, Kai left as soon as I said 25 and he hasn't came back yet. That was 20 minuets ago, it's now 8 o'clock, I'm so tired. I want to go to sleep but I don't want to sleep here in Kai's room.

His room is massive and is very nice, it has black carpet with white walls, the bed is a Black king size bed with white covers, the curtains are black and there is a big black desk over at the left side of the bed, to the right of the desk is a door which I'm guessing is a walk in closet and then to the right of the bed is another door which leads to the bathroom. There is a white sofa with a few chairs as well. But no matter how nice his room is I still don't wanna be in it.

I would like to go back to my old room, or better yet I would like to go home. I know home isn't an option right now so I'll settle for the other room. I get up and just as I was about to turn the door handle the door opens and in waks Kai.

"Where do you think your going?" He asks grabbing my arm but not tight enough to hurt me, and then walks over to the bed.

"The other room I stayed in" I say trying to get out of his hold

"I told you your staying with me" He says and sits us down on the bed

"Please..."

"No Ellie" he cuts me off

"Now why did you leave my room earlier when I told you to stay sitting on her bed?" He asks

"I-I needed a drink"

"Uh huh, and why were you talking to Lucas when I told you not to?"

"H-he's my friend, you can't force me to not talk to him"

"I can wanna know why? Because. you. are. MINE!" He shouts

"Plea..."

"Stop begging me because no matter how much you beg unless you start to talk to me the way I expect you to you are not to talk to anyone else unless and until I say so" he interrupts me again

"Now I need to get some work done I'll be at my desk and I want you to get some sleep" He says and with that he kisses my head and goes over to his desk. I wipe my head where he kissed me and lie down on his bed.

I'm trying to get to sleep but with him staring at me it's hard, plus I don't trust him to fall asleep near him. Just in case

Kai's P.O.V

Ellie was really annoying me today. She never listened to me so many times, and today I gave her, her first punishment and she'll probably get another one soon with the way she is acting. I need to think of other ways I could punish her without hurting her too badly, I want her to actually like me and even though she doesn't right now she will soon but if she doesn't, it doesn't matter because she's mine either way it would just make it better for the both of us if she stops being to annoying and likes me back.

I wasn't annoyed at Lucas as I heard him saying that he can't talk to Ellie but Ellie being Ellie didn't listen and still tried to get him to talk to her. If I'm being honest I don't even care if Lucas does talk to her, I trust him enough to not try anything with her and he is one of my closest friends after all he does live with me but I don't want Ellie to talk to him more than she talks to me.

If she starts to change her attitude a bit, talks to me more and starts to understand that she is mine then I might let her talk to Lucas and hang around with him sometimes if I'm too busy, I'm busy a lot but I'll make time for her after all she is my girl.
