Chapter 27

Ellie's P.O.V

"Ben could you take Ellie to my room please" what? No I wanna see Oscar and why is he talking as if I'm not here?

"Um I'm right here and no I wanna come and see Oscar"

"You can see him later, right now I want you in my room safe oh and you'll be moving into my room as well"

"No I like my room"

"Ellie I'm not arguing about this right now" He turns around to face me "just please I need to go to the hospital to see Oscar please just go with Ben to our room until I get back" he says and then turns around and walks down a long corridor I haven't been done yet, which leads to the hospital I'm guessing.

"Come on" The man, who I now know is called Ben, says and we start to walk back towards the way we came. He walks me up to Kai's room, I don't think I've ever been in here, it was really big. The colours we're mainly black, white, grey and a bit of brown and blue. I sat on the bed and waited for a while to make sure Ben was gone.

After a while I got up and made my way towards my room, I wasn't for sitting in here doing nothing. There was a book I had in my room that I got from the library, I swear this mansion has everything! You would never need to leave the house again apart from going shopping, you'd never get bored in this house. There was a library, game room, swimming pool, art studio where you could paint and even a room full of musical instruments. To be honest I don't know why they needed some of those rooms, I can understand the game room but the rest weren't really necessary. I suppose the rooms needed to be made into something.

I lay down on my bed and started to read the book I had. It was really good. It was about kid spy's that get sent of missions to do things, I really loved it. It was s interesting and kept me entertained. After I read a few chapters my bedroom door was flung open, I jumped and let out a little scream.

"Why are you not in our room?" Kai asked as he walked over to the bed and sat down beside me

"I wasn't in your room because it's boring" I answered honestly

"Our room Ellie, I want you to move in with me"

"You say that as if I'm moving house" I laugh a little and then look at him again "why do you want me to stay in your room so bad anyway?" I ask

"You said you were going to give me a chance"

"Yeah a chance, not sleep with you we went going out"

"We technically will be, I don't see the problem"

"You can't be serious! I'm not staying in your roo..."

"Yes you are! I told you your mine and that we would be sharing a room from now on" he cut me off, I'm sick of this 'I'm his' crap, I'm my own person not his!!

"Go away"

"Excuse me?" He laughs

"I said go away, I can't be bothered listening to you go on and on that I'm yours, I'm not yours!" I raised my voice a bit but not even where I was shouting

"And I'm sick you denying it, your mine, and you have been ever the day you came here. And I'm not going anywhere"

"Fine if your not going to leave then I will" I said and got up to leave. I didn't make it very far as grabbed my upper arm and pulled me onto his knee

"Don't walk away from me" He nearly shouted

"Just leave me alone, I'm not in the mood" I sighed

"Fine, I will leave you be for now but only because I have work to do. You are not to leave this room while I'm gone, am I clear?" He said sternly

"Yes"

He set me down on the bed and then got up and walked over to the door, once he left I laid back on the bed and let out a sigh. I didn't want to stay in this room, I was thinking about sneaking out and going to go see how Oscar was since Kai didn't tell me as we were arguing. I knew that If Kai had work to do he would be there for a few hours, I texted Lucas to see if Oscar was okay and if I would be able to come see him.

E - 'hey, how's Oscar? Can I come see him?"

L - 'he's sleeping at the moment, but you can come down just let Kai know'

E - 'okay, I'll let him know. See you soon'

Obviously I wasn't going to let him know, he told be very sternly that I had to stay in this room but me being me and maybe a bit stupid decided not to listen to him. He won't know if I don't get caught and the only way I'll get caught is if I spend to much time, he's in his office doing work so I'll have at least an hour probably more as he always spends hours doing work. It'll be a quick visit and I'll get back here before Kai comes back here.

I walk out of my room and down the stairs, I remember the the way, even though I didn't actually go to the hospital I knew what corridor to go down and from there it shouldn't be too hard.

Once I made it to the hospital I walked around, trying to look for Lucas, there loads of rooms, I wasn't expecting there to be this many. I found Lucas after looking in about 15 different rooms. Some of the rooms had people in them in hospital beds and I just had to quickly apologise and then move to the next. Eventually I found Lucas and Oscar.

Lucas turned around to see who came through the door, once he saw me he smiled.

"Hey" He said, even though he was smiling I could tell it was fake and forced, he was upset about his brother.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked

"Yeah I'm fine, I'm just glad the bullet missed everything important and that he will be okay and just needs rest.

I smiled glad that he was okay and that Oscar would be okay.

"What took you so long coming down here?" He asked

"Well I mean it would have helped if you told me what room you were in" I laughed, he looked at me and then laughed as well

"Sorry" He said

"I walked into a bunch of rooms with people I didn't even know in them and had to apologise many times" he laughed even harder

"Why didn't you just text me what room we were in?" He laughed again

"I didn't realise how big this place would have been" I said truthfully

"Yeah well considering what we do we need to be ready" he said

"You could have asked Kai what room we were in, or one of the doctors" he continued

"I didn't see any doctors" I said

"Oh well why didn't you just ask Kai?" He asked, I didn't know wheat to say. Do I make up a lie or tell him the truth?

"Uh He was busy" I wasn't actually lying, He was busy but I wasn't telling the complete truth either

"Oh, you still should of asked him he wouldn't have minded"

Ha, if he knows I'm out of my room he'll probably kill me, of course I couldn't tell Lucas that

"Well I'm here now" I say and then sit down on one of the chairs beside the bed

Kai's P.O.V

I had a lot of work to do, I needed to find out who sent that man here and why, and I also had a few deals I needed to get sorted out. Once of our shipments have been tempered with and I need to find out who it was so I can kill them. I had someone in mind but I wasn't 100% sure if it was him so I needed to get that information before I do anything. I was thinking of getting it from him when he was drunk in the club he always goes to I just needed someone to get the information form him, I was thinking about hiring some girl or using Abbie (the girl from chapter 3, she was talking to Lucas about him being more careful) then I remembered that she was away to France. I could use Ellie but I don't know if I feel comfortable letting her be around other men especially like Jeremy, he's dangerous and if something went wrong and Ellie got hurt I would be so pissed.

No I'm not using her, I'll just have to find another way to get him to talk. Thinking about Ellie made me miss her, I decided I could get some of my work down later right now I just wanted to be beside her even though it had only been 10 minuets and she didn't want to see me. I don't care I'm the boss and she listens to me not the other way around.

I walk out of my office and up to Ellie's room, well her old room, later she will be in my room with me.
