The actual Chapter 38 😂

Rachel's P.O.V

I couldn't find Ellie anywhere! I checked the living room, kitchen, her room, my room and that's all the rooms I know. I'm lost now! I haven't been here for a day yet so I don't know my way around, I didn't even know where the kitchen was! I just wandered into it.

I'm currently just wandering around the corridors trying to find my way back to the living room or any room that I am familiar with but all theses corridors look the same! This is useless how does anyone find their way around here?

I can do a corridor that looked different, at the end where two big black double doors. I had a feeling it was Kai's office. I was afraid of him but I was lost and I needed to find my way back. Then a thought hit me! Ellie knows I'm afraid of him so maybe she's hiding from me in his office? It's worth a shot and even if she wasn't I could ask him to show me the at back to the living room. I walk over to the doors and knock, I hear a come in and then take a deep breathe and opened the door.

"Rachel, what can I do for you?" He asks looking up to see who it was and then looking back to whatever he was doing

"Uh have you seen Ellie?" I ask shyly, he scares me I don't know why because I'm no longer scared of Lucas but there's just something about Kai that scares me. I was brought out of my thoughts when I realised he was talking to me but I wasn't listening.

"Uh..sorry what did you say?" I ask, he glares at me

"I don't like repeating myself Rachel" he says calmly, I nod and quickly apologise. He sighs and then tells me that he hasn't seen Ellie and that he though I was with her I told him what happened and he just laughed. I told him about the part where I got lost looking for her and he said he would take me back to the living room once he has finished his work.

So now I'm sitting down on the couch in his office patiently waiting for him to finish. It's kinda awkward, it's so quiet and I just bursted out laughing. I'm not good with silence especially awkward silence so when I feel like there is awkward silence I just start laughing. Kai looks up from his work and stares at me.

"Something funny?" He asks

"N-no I'm just not good with awkward silence" I answer truthfully

"Well I'm trying to work so could you be quiet" he says. Gosh why is he so moody. How does Ellie even like him?

I jump when he slams his hands down on his desk in anger and glares at me. If looks could kill I'd be six feet under.

"What did you just say?" He almost growls, I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion what is he talking about?

"W-what?" I ask, he's still giving me death glares and he looks like he about really to kill me. That's when I realised I must have said that out loud. Shoot he's going to murder me!

"I- uh- I-I'm Sorry" I stutter out, I don't know what to say but I don't want to make him more mad by not answering him.

"Just get out" he shouts. I stand up but don't move, the only reason I'm here isn't he first place is because I got lost

"B-but I don't know where to g-go" I say helplessly

"Down the bottom of the corridor, to the right, then left and then right again" he grumbles out angrily. He really didn't like what I said about how Ellie likes him.

I forgotten what he said already, was it left first or right? I stop in front of the door and turn back around to him.

"Uh was it left or right first?" I ask sheepishly, he groans loudly and angrily and picks up his phone. He dials a number and holds the phone to his ear.

"Lucas come to my office and get your girl before I go mad, she's driving me crazy!" He shouts once Lucas answers the phone. I can't hear what Lucas says but Kai hangs up and slams his phone back on his desk. Either I really annoyed him or he just really hates me or maybe it's just one of those days. This is why Kai scares me!

"You can wait outside" Kai says from his desk "Lucas will be here in a second" I nod and walk out of the room. I don't think I'll go near him any time soon! He absolutely hates me!

Not even 2 minuets later Lucas came running around the corner, he sighed in relief once he saw me standing perfectly fine outside Kai's office.

"Are you okay? He didn't hurt you did he? He can get angry really fast when he's working don't mind him. Why were you even in his office anyway?" He asked so many questions but I answered every one of them on our way back to the living room. He laughed when I told him I got lost.

"I'll give you a tour tomorrow but it's late now why don't we go to bed?" He asks, I nod and he kisses my forehead before taking hold of my hand and walking up to our bedroom.

I really like Lucas, he's funny and kind and even though he's in a Mafia he has a heart. We get into our bedroom and I go take a quick shower and change into some pjs. Once I'm finished doing my bedtime routine which is just shower if I need to, wash my face, brush my teeth and change into jammies. I then go back out of the bathroom and get into bed beside Lucas.

When we wake up me and Lucas go downstairs for breakfast but first he made me change because I was in Shorts and he didn't want all the men in the house looking at  my bare legs. I didn't mind, normally I would get annoyed if someone tries to tell me what to do but to be honest I didn't want anyone looking at my legs either, even though I was sure they wouldn't it's better to be safe and comfortable than sorry.

We walked into the kitchen and saw Oscar, Ellie, Marcus, Mark and Kai. I froze when I saw Kai, Lucas noticed and held my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.

"Well f it isn't my brother and my other sister in law" Oscar says, I blush and need him a smile.

"About time you got out of bed lazy" Marc says I glare and him but he just chuckles and pats beside him for me to sit down

"You finally done playing hiding seek?" I glare playfully at Ellie, she glares back

"You give up to easy and I got bored" she shrugs and smirks at me "oh and I heard you got lost" she laughs

I glare at Kai but immediately regret it once he looks up at sees me glaring at him, he sends one back and I look away not wanting to anger him again

"Stop scaring my girlfriend" Lucas glares at Kai, kai rolls his eyes and continues o drink his coffee

Lucas sits beside Mark, opposite me and we start to eat our breakfast that I'm guessing Ellie made for us all.

"Mmm this is really good, thanks El" I say

"I never made it, Kai did" She says, I look over at Kai shocked

"O-oh Thanks Kai" I say

"You okay Rach? You had a little stutter there" Marcus points out, I blush because of embarrassment and because I hear Kai laugh, I know it's because I stuttered

"Leave her alone Marcus" Lucas warns

"I'm only messing with her Luke calm down" Marcus says, Luke is Lucas's nickname

"Well your embarrassing her" Ellie says

"Say your sorry to my future sister in law, well one of them" Oscar says, because he thinks of Kai as his brother and Lucas is his brother, if me and Lucas get married I'd be his sister in law and he counts Ellie as one as well

"Guys leave Marcus alone he was only messing" Kai says, everyone turns and glares at him apart from me and Mark.

"Well I have to go now, I'll see yous all later" Mark says standing up, everyone says bye to him and then we all just continue to eat in silence. It was a bit Awkward and I started laughing, Ellie laughed hearing me laugh and we both just sat there laughing

"Yous 2 are scaring me, what are yous laughing at?" Marcus says

"Yeah me too that's creepy stop laughing at nothing your freaking me out" Oscar laughs

Me and Ellie both roll our eyes but we stop laughing. I finish my food and then take my plate to the sink.

"What are we doing today?" Ellie asks

"Well Lucas is going to give me a tour of this place and then you want to go shopping?" I ask

"Yous can't leave here without taking Marcus with you" Kai says

"That's okay he can come" I smile at Marcus and he groans

"Please can you not make Jonny go with them?" Marcus begs Kai

"No we want you to come" Ellie frowns

Marcus shakes his head "it was bad enough watching you to pack yesterday I'm not going shopping with the 2 of you"

"I'll get Jonny to go" Kai says, Ellie sighs

"I would prefer if it was Marcus" she says, I smirk knowing that Kai will give into her. Ellie smiles sweetly at Marcus, me and Lucas laugh

"Good luck Marcus" Oscar says walking out of the kitchen

Lucas give me tour of the mansion after breakfast before I went to get ready to go shopping with Ellie. He reminds me not to talk to any strangers, especially boys and then gives me a kiss on the head as I go out the bedroom door to go meet Ellie. I found her standing at the front door with an unhappy looking Marcus by her side. I laugh, Kai made him come since Ellie begged him.

"We are going to have so much fun" I smile happily linking mine and Ellie's arm together and skipping to the car. Marcus groans "I hate you both" he states getting into the drivers seat and driving us to the Mall.
