Chapter 42

Ellie's P.O.V

I love my walk in wardrobe, I've spent most of the day in here with Rachel we are just sitting trying on all my clothes and pretending we are going down the red carpet with all my dresses. I have on a ruby red dress with sparkles all down it. I bought it for a formal occasion. I don't know when I'll use it but I couldn't not buy it, I fell in love with it once I saw it. I walk down towards Rachel and strike a pose "you look beautiful El" Rachel shouts as I walk down back the way I walked only to bump into Kai.

"Woah" he says breathlessly, his eyes are wide and his jaw is nearly hitting the floor

"Close your mouth before a fly gets in it" I laugh, he shouts his mouth and rolls his eyes

"You look gorgeous" he says, I look down feeling my face heat up

"Thank you" I say still looking down at the floor.

He lifts my head up by putting his fingers under my chin and listing them up so I am looking at his face. He leans in and his lips touch mine, he bites my lip wanting to deepen the kiss. I allow him and we kiss until Rachel interrupts us

"Eww keep it PG or at least get a room" she laughs, I blush and pull away from Kai. He rolls his eyes and pecks my lips before telling me to get dressed into something casual and that we were going out. I nod my head and once he leaves I take the dress off and hang it back up. Pulling out a pair of ripped jeans and a nice top. I didn't know where we were going, he didn't say anything and somethings tells me he won't tell me. I find a pair of my new trainers that match what I'm wearing. Rachel gets a phone call and then leaves saying that Lucas wants her.

Turns out we were all going out together. We are currently sitting in one of Kai's many cars. There's me, Rachel, Lucas, Oscar, Kai, Marcus, Will and some other girl I don't know. I still don't know where we are going but we are all in our normal clothes.

"Hey Will, I haven't seen you in weeks" I say, he looks up from his phone and smiles at me

"I know, I've been very busy thanks to Kai" he says, I nod my head not really sure what else to say to keep a conversation going. We sit in silence for a while until I remembered that Marcus was on a date yesterday.

"So Marcus, how was your date?" I ask

"It was good" he says

"Is there going to be a second date?" Rachel asks him

"I hope so" he says and then smiles at the girl that I don't know the name of. Then it clicked

"Omg your who he went out on a date with?" I ask smiling at the girl, she blushes and nods her head

"Savannah right?" I ask her, I mean I know that is her name since Marcus told me yesterday but I just asked anyway to make conversation. She however doesn't reply vocally but just nods her head again. She looks really nice and she is beautiful, I wasn't expecting her to be so shy and quiet though. Especially since she is going out on dates with Marcus who is very loud and definitely not shy.

"It's nice to meet you, my names Ellie" I say, she smiles

"My name is Rachel" Rachel says

"Nice to meet you both" she says, woah so she does talk!

We sit in comfortable silence until Kai stops the car outside a building. The building doesn't give us any clue of where we are so I ask him again once we are out of the car. He off course didn't tell me.

We all make our way into the building. As soon as we were in a man walked over to us.

"Hi welcome to Laser Tag, my name is Oliver. There is currently a game on right now s I'm afraid you'll have to wait for 5 minuets until it's over" he says, I couldn't believe that we all came here to play laser tag, I mean I wasn't complaining. I've only played once but it's a lot of fun!  "Please follow me" He says and we all follow him through a door. Here were other people in here and they were currently putting on the wee thing that you need to shoot.

I was in the green team with Marcus, Savannah and two others that I didn't know who were not with us. Rachel, Lucas and two others were in the pink team. Kai, Will Oscar and some other person were in the blue team and then there were two other groups of five that were yellow and purple. Once we all got on our coloured bibs and the the wee box that you have to shoot, we went and watched a short video explaining how to play and the rules.

A few minuets later we all headed in and found our bases. At the bases was something called a medical kit, you go there if you have been shot but not 'killed' and managed to get away, it brings your health back up. Once the lights went out and it was luminous and lit up a bit so we can see we started the game.

I was currently by myself looking for anyone in a different colour team as me, I snuck around a corner and saw two people from the yellow team. I shot them both and got them out, I did a little victory dance and then continued to look for others. I bumped into Savannah and we both walked around together, she said that she put out someone from the yellow team as well so there was only two left for that team.

I looked up at the score board, to see that none of our team has been out out, two people from the pink team and one from the blue had been put out. Me and Savannah were walking and saw Rachel, I shot at her but she managed to get around the corner before I could put her out, we chased after her but lost her. I have no idea how she got away from us.

"Hey let's go this way, I think I heard people over hear" Savannah whispered to me, I nodded and we went in the direction she was pointing at. It was the last two people from the yellow team. We shot at them and put them out, when I looked back at the score board I saw that two others from the pink team were out out so that means that only one was left. The yellow team was the only full team that was put out.

We turned a corner and bumped into Lucas, he still had his light on and was the only pink left. I shot but missed him, he shot at us and got Savannah out. I started running in the opposite direction and literally bumped into someone else from my team. He shot at Lucas and got him out out.

"Ha!" I laughed, he just stuck his tongue out at me and walked away to the starting point where you go once your out out.

"Thanks for the help" I say to the boy in my team, he nods and we decide to go opposite ways. I wish him luck and he walks the way I was coming from.

It's been a few minuets, I have put out a few others that I didn't know but I haven't bumped into Marcus or anyone else I know. Savannah is still the only one from my team out. I saw snapped out of my thoughts when someone grabbed me and pulled me into a corner.

"Hey" I whisper shout at them. I look up to see that it was Kai

"What are you doing?" I ask, I didn't try shoot him because he didn't try to shoot me.

"I say we finish that kiss" he says and leans in closer to me

"We aren't even in the same team, I could put you out right now" I say

"I'm faster than you, don't even try it" he says in a fake warning tone, I roll my eyes

"Don't roll your eyes at me" He says and then kisses me, I kiss him back. He lifts me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. We pull apart when his light turns off.

"Thought you were faster than me?" I smirk

"You shot me?" He asks, I nod and laugh at him. "We will see who's laughing later" he says and then walks away. I laugh and roll my eyes

"Aww don't cry" I shout after him but he doesn't turn around. I don't know what meant when he said 'We will see who's laughing later' but I wasn't worried about that.

I'm the only one left in my team, there is two blue people left and two people from the purple team left. I was cautiously wandering around trying not to be caught. I look behind me every now. I suddenly stop as I hear a bell ring, I look towards the score board to see that the purple team is out. It's just me and the blue team. I wander who is left, I know Kai is out but I haven't seen Will or Oscar. They could be the only two left.

I stop walking as my light goes of, I look down and frown at it. I'm out now. I look behind me and there they are. Will and Oscar.

"Ha we won!" Oscar said fist pumping Will

"Well done" I say and we all make our way to the starting area

Everyone who we were not there with was gone, we made our way back to the car and then got in. It was around 7 o'clock so we decided that before we went home we would go get dinner first. We went to KFC and then headed back home.

"Today has been such a good day" I smile, first my walk in wardrobe, then laser tag, then KFC which I haven't had in ages!

"So Savannah, you coming back to the house with us?" Rachel asks

"Yeah, I think so, is that okay?" She says looking over to Marcus

"Off course it is" he smiles

"Is it now? Since when is it your house?" Kai asks, looking in he mirror back to us all from the diving seat

"Please Boss" Marcus asks

Don't listen to him, off course she can come. Is what I wanted to say but even though I live there I know I can't decide if someone comes. It's not up to me.

"I'm kidding, she can come" Kai says, I smile

"Perfect, girls night in my room!" Rachel shouts happily, I cheer on and Savannah smiles

"Uh and where am I going to sleep?" Lucas asks

"I don't know, find somewhere there's loads of rooms in the house" Rachel says. We pull int the drive and then all get out of the car.

"I'm not just going to go sleep in another room" he says

"Please Lucas?" I ask

"No yous aren't kicking me out of my own room" he says. Me and Rachel both groan.

"Fine then, girls night in the living room!" I say, I was going to suggest my room but I don't think Kai would agree to sleep somewhere other that his own room

I go and get into my jammies, Rachel does the same and I lend Savannah a pair of jammies. Once we are all ready we go into the living room and grab a bunch of munchies to eat whilst watching movies.
