Bonus Chapter 2

Falling for my Husband

*gasps* What is this? A new bonus chapter? HECK YEAH IT IS.

I wrote this for my friend who desperately wanted to know what happened with Maahi and Rohan after the bonus chapter. And me being the absolute sweetheart I am *cue a big smile* decided to post it here too.

Ain't I the best? *smiles even wider*

Warning- I was on a chocolate high when I wrote this so blame the chocolate for whatever you read.

*aggressively sprinkles holy water on you all before running away*

PS- This is a continuation of the previous bonus chapter. Please read that first if you haven't.

Maahi's POV

"Hello, love."

.

.

.

I blinked twice.

Rohan? Was he really here? Or did I have too many drinks?

He took a step forward and I inhaled sharply. He was real. He was here.

"H-how?" I whispered, unable to look away from his twinkling green eyes. His smile widened when he saw my stunned expression and my breath hitched in my throat.

Somehow, he looked more handsome than the last time I had seen him.

He cocked his head, his gaze roaming over my body painfully slowly and I suppressed a shiver when a small smirk tugged on his lips.

These Singhania brothers love smirking, don't they?

My first instinct was to run in his arms. But as soon as I made a move towards him, reality crashed upon me. I stilled. And so did he. The smile slipped from his face and he straightened, his face solemn.

I forced myself to remember the hurt he caused me over the past year, no matter how much I wanted to kiss him right then and there.

Glaring at him coldly, I stepped aside and was going to walk away from him when a warm hand enclosed around my wrist.

"Maahi."

My heart skipped a beat.

Damn him! Damn him to hell for having that effect on me.

I stood rooted in my place, refusing to turn around and look at him, not trusting myself. "What are you doing here?"

He tugged on my arm and I stumbled back, his chest pressing against my back. The loud music in the club drowned out as I felt his lips near my ear. "I'm here for you."

My breath quickened.

His other arm wrapped around my midriff and he pulled me into him, pressing a featherlight kiss just beneath my earlobe. I bit my lip to stop the moan threatening to escape my mouth.

God, Maahi. You have the backbone of a chocolate eclair.

Taking in a deep breath, I turned around and his hands fell back to his side. Finally, I allowed myself to look at him. Actually look at him. My hands itched to touch his face, to feel him close to me again.

God, I had missed him.

As if hearing my thoughts, he came closer, his forest-green eyes darting between mine. "I want to talk to you."

I held my head high and mocked. "Too bad. I have no interest in talking to a coward."

Low blow.

Something shifted in his posture and I ignored the way my stomach flipped at the way his intense gaze bored into me.

"Just once. Please. We can find a quiet corner and talk."

"No."

"Listen to me." His voice was earnest. "Give me a chance to explain myself. You can walk away anytime you want."

I shrugged, turning to my left. "Well, I'm walking away right now."

He blocked my way, his gaze boring into mine. "Didn't you miss me?"

"Not at all. I've completely moved on. Didn't you hear? Harry Styles proposed to me last month." I made sure the sarcasm in my overly sweet voice would hit him straight in the face. "We are getting married next year and guess what? You're not invited."

He sighed. "Baby-"

"Don't 'baby' me, Singhania."

"Listen-"

"No, thank you. I don't want to hear anything."

He held my wrist before I could even take a step, his eyes glinting dangerously. His voice was hard with steel determination when he spoke again. "Either you come with me quietly or I swear to God I will carry you out of here myself."

I smirked. He wouldn't do that. The club was way too crowded. There was no way he would risk creating a scene here.

"You know what?" I crossed arms over my chest and arched a brow. "I would love to see you try."

He shook his head, chuckling. "You underestimate me, love."

Before I could guess what was happening, he bent down and wrapped an arm around my knees. My world tilted upside down as he tossed me over his shoulder like a ragdoll. A startled shriek left my lips as I held onto him for dear life and he started walking to God knows where.

I definitely underestimated him.

"Rohan!" I squeaked. "What are you doing? Put me down."

He didn't answer and strode towards the emergency exit with confident steps.

"Are you mad? What will people think if they see us like that?" I yelled.

"I don't give a fuck what others think."

"Put me down or I'll start screaming that you're trying to kidnap me." I threatened him.

"By all means, go ahead."

Oh god.

He wasn't going to listen to me.

I looked around, trying to spot my friends in the crowd through my upside-down vision.

Wait, was that Kia and Arjun? Yes! Yes, they were.

I tried to wave my hands at them, hoping they would notice me but they were too busy staring at each other and there was no way they could hear me from this far.

Snap out of it, you lovebirds! Your friend is getting kidnapped by your other friend.

They had somehow gotten closer than before, which I didn't even think was possible and Arjun's hands were now roaming at dangerous places.

Oh Lord.

They should not have kids. At all. They'll be too busy making heart eyes at each other to notice their kids creating havoc in the world.

I tried to look for Sid and Anushka and found them aggressively making out in a corner.

Why the fuck is everyone so horny here?

And by everyone, I meant me too.

While I was busy cursing my over-excited hormones, Rohan had already reached the exit door. I saw the manager of the club there and called for help.

"Excuse me, sir? Sir!" I said loudly, grabbing his attention. "Please help me. This psycho is kidnapping me."

The manager's eyes darted between Rohan and me and he immediately straightened, his expressions alert.

"She is my girlfriend." Rohan told him.

"I'm not your girlfriend." I snapped and looked at the manager pleadingly. "Help me, please. He's going to murder me in a dark alleyway."

He hesitated, his face conflicted and I scowled. "Aren't you listening to me? He might kill me! What are you waiting for? Help me."

I never thought that a day would come when I would be complaining that I am being kidnapped by a super-hot guy. This was my childhood dream for God's sake!

Rohan slid me down and wrapped a secure arm around my waist before I could run away. He shot me an amused look. "I don't think Sameer would snitch on the person who gives his salary every month." He glanced at the manager, "Right, Sameer?"

"But that doesn't me- Wait. WHAT?" I whipped my head to Rohan.

His infuriating smirk made me want to scratch his face like a cat. "I own this club, darling."

Dammit!

"Now, if you would please excuse us, I'd like to have a word with my lovely girlfriend." Without waiting for the manager's reply, he pulled me through the door and into an office room, swiftly locking the door.

Before I had a chance to react, he pushed me against the wall and his arms trapped me between the wall and him.

"Now," His voice dropped a few octaves and his gaze flickered to my lips momentarily, "where were we?"

I almost stopped breathing.

Composing myself, I looked him dead in the eye. "I was at the club, trying to live my life peacefully when you came and carried me here like a caveman."

His face neared mine as his eyes flitted to his chest and then back at me. "I thought you liked these muscles."

I still do.

But he didn't need to know that.

"Did you bring me here to talk about your muscles?"

"Nah." He chuckled darkly and leaned closer to kiss the beauty spot just below my jaw. "I'd rather do something else right now."

I clenched my thighs as his lips grazed my jaw and my eyes nearly rolled to the back of my head when he hummed softly.

This is not the moment to be horny, Maahi. What the fuck is wrong with you?

I clenched my hands into fists, not giving him the satisfaction of knowing how much he affected me but the proud look on his face told me that he was well aware of it.

That snapped me out of my trance.

"You!" I pushed against his chest and he stumbled back in surprise. "You have no right to come here and act like everything is fine after you vanished to London for a whole year!"

"Maahi-"

"NO! You don't get to sweet-talk me into forgiving you. Do you know how upset I was after reading that letter? Do you know how hard it was for me? No, you don't. Because you were busy hiding your feelings like a coward. You didn't even think of talking to me first. You just vanished."

I had suppressed my emotions for so long that it felt so good to finally let out my feelings like this.

Rohan looked slightly surprised with my outburst but I couldn't care less.

I marched upto him and hit his chest with my fist. "You're so selfish. You left me here without a second thought. And now you come barging in my life when I have finally learnt to live without you."

Grabbing his collar, I yanked him closer to me, our faces mere inches apart and whispered. "I hate you, Rohan Singhania."

A slow smile spread on his lips. "Do you, now?"

This pretentious bastard.

"Do you really hate me?" His knuckles traced my cheek and his smile widened when he heard my breath hitch.

The fucking audacity.

I wanted to wipe that stupid smile from his face so I did the first thing that came to my mind.

I kissed him.

Tightening my hold on his collar, I closed the remaining distance between us and slammed my lips to his.

It took him by surprise.

He froze and I smirked into the kiss. That was enough to snap him into action and he immediately responded as his hand snaked around my back and the other grabbed my hair at the back of my neck.

His lips moved against mine with such ferocity that I found myself drowning in a pleasurable abyss.

He still tasted the same. He still felt so fucking good.

My hands trailed from his chest to his hair and I tugged on his silky locks. A throaty groan escaped him and only then did I realize how much I had wanted to do this ever since I saw him in the club.

We parted when the need to breathe overpowered the need to be close to each other. I was panting heavily, almost on the verge of fainting but one look at his swollen lips and the wild look in his eyes and my ego boosted higher than the Eiffel Tower.

"You said you didn't deserve me." I said. "Guess what? I've found someone else who does."

It was a big, fat lie. I just wanted to rile him up and see his reaction. There is something so hot about men being jealous.

His eyes widened a fraction and he clenched his jaw.

"What did you say?" He asked slowly, his voice dangerously low. The look on his face clearly said he was pissed.

"I've finally found someone who deserves me." I repeated with a smile to infuriate him further.

And that did it.

My, my.

It incited the exact reaction I was hoping for as he slammed me against the nearest wall and kissed me. Hard.

I cupped his face with my hands and drew him closer until there wasn't an inch of space between us. His hand that was resting on my waist trailed lower and lower until he reached my ass and grabbed it. I arched my back, moaning loudly and his teeth dug in my lower lip, tugging lightly.

He was everything I wanted him to be. Rough. Hard. Dominant.

"Say that again." Rohan growled against my mouth. The threatening undertone in his voice had some parts of me tingling and it was so fucking hard to restrain my grin.

"Jealous?" I asked, breathless.

"You have no idea." And he was kissing me again. Like he had never done before. Like he was trying to devour me whole.

Holding me into place, he grinded his hips against mine and another very loud, embarrassing moan left my lips at the feeling of...that.

Holy fuck!

We parted again, both of us breathing hard. I thanked God for the wall behind me and the green-eyed human in front of me because these two were the only things that were keeping me upright at the moment.

I wanted to pull him into a kiss again when a knock sounded on the door and I jerked in my place.

Shit.

I totally forgot where I was. My alarmed eyes clashed with his green ones as I took a scared step closer to him.

"Shh. I'm here." Rohan whispered in a gentle voice, placing his hands on my waist and I calmed down a little.

"Mr. Singhania? Are you there?" Someone asked.

"Yes." Rohan answered calmly, not bothering to move away from me. "I'll be out in a minute."

"Okay, sir."

I heard footsteps walking away and some sense returned to me.

I gasped. "I should go. Our friends will be searching for me."

His lips tugged in an amused smirk as he placed a hand on the wall beside my head. "Why do you think they brought you here today?"

It took me a moment to grasp what he was implying.

My mouth dropped open. "They knew?"

"All of them." He grinned.

I was going to hunt them down and kill them painfully slowly.

So that's why Kia forced me to wear this dress today.

Rohan took a step towards me and I suddenly became hyper-aware of our close proximity. The adrenaline rush was long gone and I was left alone to face the consequences of my impulsive acts.

"You-" I gulped and said in a small voice. "You should leave."

He glared at me. "You want me to leave?"

When I kept quiet, he said, "Tell me that you don't love me and I will."

My heart gave a loud thump. I looked away.

"I don't." I hoped he didn't hear the slight tremble in my voice.

He held my jaw in his hand, his thumb on one side and fingers on the other, his hold strong. He turned my face towards him, his face unreadable. "Look me in the eyes and say it."

"Rohan, I-"

His hand trailed down so that he was loosely holding my throat, his thumb drawing lazy circles on the pulsing vein on my neck.

"Hmm?" He hummed, brushing his lips where his thumb was just a moment before.

Oh god.

His other hand was on my thigh and he traced his knuckles on the exposed skin, just below where my short dress ended. I choked on my breath, unable to conjure any meaningful thought when he was touching me like this.

He was setting me on fire and I was a second away from combusting.

"Stop teasing me." The words were a breathless whimper.

Rohan smiled against my neck as his hand inched towards my inner thigh.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck!

"But I'm having fun here."

Of course you are, bitch!

His hand moved a little higher and every single fiber of me started screaming HIGHER again and again.

But he stopped just before he could reach the place where I wanted him to be at the most.

I nearly growled in frustration as he leaned back, just enough to look at me. His gaze turned soft as he cupped my cheek. "Give me a chance, Maahi. I know what I did was wrong. But I'm here now. I want to make everything right. I want to prove that I'm worthy of you. Of your love."

My heart fluttered as I gazed up at him, his hopeful face melting my heart. I didn't know what to feel. Yes, he had hurt me in the past but he was here now. Standing in front of me, asking me to give him a chance. And the truth was no matter how much I denied it, I loved him. He was admitting his mistakes and wanted to improve. For me. For us. And I would be a fool if I didn't give him at least one chance to prove himself. Everybody deserved second chances and he was too precious to me to let go.

"Okay." I whispered.

"O-okay?" Rohan blinked.

I nodded, smiling widely and he let out a heavy breath.

"I'm ready to give you a chance but if you pull a stunt like that ever again, I'm leaving your ass faster than you can blink." I said sternly.

He chuckled, touching his forehead to mine. "Never again." He promised, his eyes fluttering close. "I'm not letting you go ever again."

And there you go. Now you know what happened.

And to the three people who know me personally, we're gonna pretend I never wrote this, okay?

A/N- Don't be surprised if one day I just ✨invent a time machine, go back into time, marry Keanu Reeves and become a hot MILF✨
