Thirty Three Part 1
Daddy's Pet (on hold)
So my disappearance. I had an emergency extraction after my ex kicked me in the jaw shattering half the teeth on my left side and I lost one tooth because of it. I am perfectly fine now (but in a lot of pain). I wasn't sure if I wanted to share this information or not but I figured that you deserved an answer on why I was gone. So I apologize for this short update. Enjoy cupcakes!
"This is a horrible idea." Sven stated for umpteenth time.
The genetically miraculous creature stood proud beside its temporary owner, seeminfly oblivious to Sven's warnings. "It's tradition you bring a gift to apologizes." Argued Tanner.
Sven quirked an eyebrow. "And what gift did you bring me?"
Tanner beamed and gestured broadly to his crotch. "All yours baby." He mused.
Sven rolled his eyes and focused in on the golden brown beast. It was massive, larger than he remembered Griffin's current were to be. What was his name? Milo? "Tanner what if he refuses it."
Tanner scoffed. "You don't refuse a three fourths of a million dollars gift."
Sven's jaw dropped. Tanner had money, that had always been apparent, but Tanner had been careful throughout his life. "Jesus H."
"I know. That's my annual salary at my current job." Tanner knew he'd dropped a pretty penny but he hoped it would be all the more reason to forgive him. Tanner didn't spend frivolously. "This one is perfect: and it can't shift on him."
The prehistoric monster stretched his muscular body, dinner saucer sized paws unsheathing terrifying, long, opaque claws. His mouth opened in a yawn. It's two large fangs we're surrounded by many other equally sharp daggers. "I didn't even know they could do this."
"There's about fifty in existence currently. Sabers are going to be a hot commodity. I mean look at him." It was almost a shame that he wouldn't get to keep him himself. "Are you ready?"
"I don't want Luca around him."
"He's perfectly tame."
The complimentary leash was a joke. It was made of ancient tear drop diamonds originally taken from the war torn continent once called Africa. Blood diamonds.
"He could break from that at any point."
"He better trained than that Sven. Relax okay?"
Sven didn't even know why he had to come. This was Tanner's war to win. And involving Luca was putting unnecessary risk on the youth. Not that Tanner was listening to reason. "He's much less likely to overreact in the presence of others." Tanner reasoned with a casual shrug. "Besides, you can see Marco."
Sven was bewildered. "Why would I want to see the were?"
"You were all for his protection just a little while ago."
"I meant it generally, not specifically." Sven was exhausted from the entire conversation. "Let's go if we're going."
"You think he'll like him?" There was shimmer of doubt in Tanner's otherwise confident aura.
Luca had already noticed the new smelling creature but now he inched closer. The beast didn't falter at all at the sight of runt and instead focused straight ahead: this was his duty, so obey and to protect. Luca touched the right maxillary tooth in awe. "Kitty has big teeths," he whispered loudly.
The saber tooth tiger shifted its body from his touch. He would never attack unless his Master was threatened but he had no time for a weakling pup. Luca bottom lip trembled. "Kitty don't like Luca."
"Kitty isn't for play." Tanner replied pleasantly. "We're going to see Marco."
"No." The boy shocked both vampires with his prompt and firm answer. "Marco go gr at Daddy. Not Luca's friend no more."
"Pumpkin, he didn't mean it. Daddy wasn't being very nice."
Luca bottom lip pushed out. "Okay."
