Chapter 100
Pampered By Power: The True Heiress Returns
Chapter 100 Chapter 100 She might have acted easygoing most of the time, but she wasnât dumb.
Especially after everything that had happened recently, she had learned to pick up on the smallest details. The moment Elysia made even the slightest movement, she knew something was off.
Elysia realized she couldnât hide it and smiled faintly. âItâs Grace. She wants to meet me on the rooftop.â
âGrace? At this time? That canât be good.â
âI know.â
âIf you know, then why are you still going?â
Hearing that, Elysiaâs lips curled slightly. âIf I donât go, wouldnât that be a waste of all the effort she put in for me?â
39%
âIn that case, Iâm going with you.â Ava immediately linked arms with her, afraid Elysia would refuse. She even started acting cute to get her way. âElysia, take me with you, okay? Please?â
Elysia could never say no when Ava talked like that, so she had no choice but to nod. âAlright.â
When they got to the rooftop, the first thing they saw was Graceâs back. Elysiaâs gaze paused slightly. From the way she was standing...like she was planning to jump.
As soon as that thought crossed Avaâs mind, she gasped. âHey, Grace! What are you doing?â
Hearing the voice behind her, Grace turned around. The moment she saw Ava, her face darkened.
Then, her eyes shifted to Elysia, her tone sharp. âI told you to come alone.â
Ava scoffed, crossing her arms. âWhat? Am I ruining your plans?
Elysia kept her hands in her pockets, her voice cool. âWhy did you ask me to come?â
âYou were the one who exposed me,â yelled Grace.
âI gave you a chance, but you didnât take it,â said Elysia.
As she spoke, Elysia stepped closer, leaning in to whisper in Graceâs ear, âYou brought this on yourself.â
The mocking tone in Elysiaâs voice made something inside Grace snap. She lunged forward, reaching out to grab Elysiaâs throat, but before she could even touch her, Elysia kicked her away.
It was only then that Ava reacted, quickly stepping in front of Elysia, She glared at Grace, who was now on the ground, her voice full of anger. âYouâre actually insane. You were trying to kill her! Do you really think I wonât make sure you spend the rest of your life in prison?â
Then she turned back to Elysia, her voice softer. âElysia, are you okay?â
âIâm fine, replied Elysia.
âItâs my fault. I almost let her get to you. Good thing you reacted so fast,â said Ava.

apter 100 Seeing how guilty and worried Ava looked, Elysia reached out and gently patted her hand. âIâm fine.â
Grace watched them, then let out a cold laugh. âElysia, I hate you so much.
@439%2 âI hate that you always have everything, that you always get what you want, that youâre always better than everyone else... Iâm so jealous of you. Itâs driving me crazy.
âWhy is it that weâre both human, but you were born rich and privileged, while I was born into nothing?
âDo you even realize that because you reported me, I might never be able to stay at this school? Itâs all because of youâ
As Grace kept complaining, Elysia took a few steps forward.
Ava noticed and immediately grabbed her arm, shaking her head, telling her not to go.
Grace was acting crazy right nowâwhat if she actually bit Elysia Elysia glanced at Avaâs hand gripping her tightly and knew she was just worried. A small smile appeared on her face. âDonât worry.â
Hearing that, Ava finally relaxed. With Elysiaâs skills, there was no way Grace could hurt her.
When she looked up again, Elysia was already crouching in front of Grace, her tone playful. âItâs not surprising that youâre jealous of me. That just proves Iâm really good... but do you think I was born this way?â
Grace looked up at her, and the moment their eyes met, she saw disdain in Elysiaâs gaze. Her heart clenched.
Elysia continued, âNo one is born excellent. Havenât you realized? You always blame other people for your problems but never reflect on yourself.
âInstead of wasting your time like this, why not spend it improving yourself? And honestly... the person who looks down on you the most isnât anyone elseâitâs you.â
Elysia paused for a couple of seconds before continuing, âYou say I was born into a rich family, but do you even know? I was abandoned by my biological parents for eighteen years.
âHave you ever gone eighteen years without parents?â
Grace stared into her eyes and instinctively took a step back. The coldness in Elysiaâs gaze was terrifying.
Seeing her reaction, Elysia smirked. âI never said I was a good person. Since you decided to mess with me, you shouldâve been ready for what was coming.â With that, she stood up.
Grace trembled all overâwhether from fear or anger, she didnât even know.
She had no idea what to do anymore because she simply wasnât a match for Elysia.
Seeing her stay silent, Elysia lost interest in wasting time and called Ava over. The two of them left the rooftop together.
Watching them walk away, Grace couldnât hold back her tears anymore. Was this really how her life was going to be from now on?
At that moment, Ava clung to Elysiaâs arm, grinning from ear to ear.

Chapter 100 âYouâre that happy?â asked Elysia.
239%2 âOf course! The bad guy finally got what she deserved, and now sheâs completely miserable. She might not even be able to come back to school. How could I not be happy?â replied Ava.
âShe might not come back? What do you mean? Elysia was confused.
âThe school only gave Grace a probationary punishmentâwhy wouldnât she be able to return?â she asked.
Hearing that, Ava quickly explained, âElysia, youâre new here, so there are some things you probably donât know.
âGrace got into this school through a special admission program. With her familyâs situation, thereâs no way she couldâve gotten into a prestigious school like Milton on her own.
âJust the tuition alone is something she couldnât afford. And from what I heard, her family strongly favors boys over girls, and her dadâs a drunk.
âIf it werenât for this programâwhere students donât have to pay tuition, get a living allowance each semester, and Graceâs grades were decent enough to win an occasional scholarshipâher family wouldâve made her drop out a long time ago.
âBut now that she has a disciplinary record, all those benefits are gone, according to school rules. Her family canât afford the tuition, so in the end, theyâll have no choice but to make her leave.â
Ava pouted. âYeah, sheâs got it rough, but I donât feel bad for her at all. She brought this on herself. Thatâs why people say if someoneâs pitiful, thereâs probably a reason behind itâitâs true.
After hearing Avaâs explanation, Elysia could more or less see why Grace had completely lost it earlier.
But Ava had a pointâpeople who seem pitiful always have something about them that makes them hard to sympathize with.
If Grace hadnât messed with her in the first place, she wouldnât have ended up like this.
