Bianca watched Justin supporting Class 6 and clenched her fists in frustration. Jealousy overwhelmed her. âIs it because of Elysia? Why does he act so differently whenever Elysia is around?
In the past, Justin wouldnât have bothered with such conflicts; he used to let others argue without getting involved. But now? Is it just for Elysia? I canât stand herâwhy did Elysia have to transfer to this school?
âWithout her, Justin would still be the same, and if I canât catch his attention, no one else would either.
Justinâs willingness to speak up for Class 6 surprised Ava, but after thinking about it, she realized he was probably doing it for Elysia, which made sense.
She turned to Justin and smiled, âThank you, Justin.â Then she rolled her eyes at the members of Class 5 and left.
Upon returning to the classroom, Elysia was already seated. Ava rushed over and hugged her. âElysia, you wonât believe how much I missed you.â
Elysia gently pushed Avaâs head away with a smile. âItâs only been three days.â
âA day apart feels like half a year,â Ava replied, her big eyes shining cutely. âI have exciting newsâdo you want to hear it?â
âWhat news?â Elysia asked.
Ava sat up straight and said seriously, âThe exam results are out. Our class moved up a rank, so we wonât be disbanded.â
She proudly raised her finger. It was fantastic news; Class 6 would not be disbanded.
During the first period break, the PA system announced that Elysia should go to the principalâs office. Ava looked puzzled and said, âElysia, why does the principal want to see you?â
Elysia shook her head. âI have no idea; Iâll find out.â With that, she walked toward the classroom door.
âHey, why would Levi call Elysia to the office now? It canât be about disbanding, right?â
âAre you serious? Why would he involve Elysia in something like that?â
âExactly, you fool.â
Hearing her classmatesâ dismissive remarks, the boy scratched his head innocently. He was just worried about the issue. A little stir in events made him think the worst.
In the principalâs office, Elysia sat across from Levi, exuding the vibe of a serious student. âLevi, what did you need from me?â
she asked calmly.
Levi, surprised by her serious demeanor, wondered if he was mistaken. He took a sip of water and said, âWell. Elysia, itâs nothing special; I just wanted to talk.â
Elysia was silent, prompting Levi to continue, âYouâve been in Class 6 for a bit now. You must have had some experiences. Are you thinking about going back to Class 1?â
At this, Elysia raised an eyebrow. âI remember the agreement was that if my grades dropped, I could transfer to another class.
But my grades havenât slipped.â
Her message was clearâshe didnât plan on changing classes. Levi had expected her grades to fall after moving to Class 6, but 1/3 16:21 Fri, Chapter 149 to his surprise, she still held the top spot.
Faced with this unexpected turn, he wasnât sure whether to feel happy or disappointed. After all, he had agreed to let her transfer, hoping sheâd hit a wall and realize the need to heed his summons if her grades dropped.
However, his scheme had backfired. The real reason for summoning her was simply to check her thoughts, if she was willing to return, it would be great, as Class 1 had much better resources than Class 6.
âI will not transfer classes,â Elysia stated firmly, Seeing no point in discussing it further, Levi nodded. âAlright thenâ
âOkay, unless you need anything else, Iâll take my leave.â As Elysia stood and walked to the door, she turned to Levi, asking, âLevi, Class 6 isnât going to be disbanded, right?â
âDisband? What do you mean?â Levi replied, confusion evident on his face, Understanding his puzzled expression, Elysia coolly responded, âNever mind.â With that, she left the office.
Now, she had every reason to doubt the rumors about Class 6 being disbanded. When Ethan had mentioned it, she hadnât given it much thought then. It seemed they had all been played by Ethan.
After leaving the principalâs office, she headed straight to Ethanâs office. She knocked on the door, and a middleâaged voice called out, âCome in.â
Elysia opened the door and entered, momentarily surprising Ethan. âElysia, is there something you need?â he asked.
âEthan, is Class 6 still going to be disbanded?â she inquired directly, A hint of mischief flickered in Ethanâs eyes briefly. âThis time, Class 6 did really well. I just got word that you wonât be disbanded.
âBut you should encourage your classmates to stay focused; if their grades fall, the disbandment threat could still be real.â
Elysia placed her hands in her pockets and replied playfully, âBut I just came from the principalâs office, and Levi told me there was never any talk of disbandment.â
Ethan looked at her and burst into laughter. âThis is a scheme I carefully planned; I didnât expect you to catch on so fast.â
Before Elysia could respond, he continued, âThe students in Class 6 are different from those in other classes; their biggest strengths are their teamwork and commitment to the class reputation.
âI thought linking their performance to the possibility of disbandment would push them to work harder. However, I hesitated to go through with this plan until you joined Class 6. I was sure that with your help, they would rise to the challenge.â
âSo, you made up that story?â Elysia raised an eyebrow, questioning him.
âHow can this be considered a lie? Itâs a strategy. Yes, some might call it deceiving, but, it is definitely for a good cause. Elysia, I hope you can keep this between us.â
Ethan added, âAfter all, I truly care about these students. As long as they study hard and become valuable individuals, thatâs what truly matters.â
Elysia suddenly found Ethan quite intriguing. If she hadnât stepped in earlier, the Class 6 students might have rushed to Levi to raise concerns about this, and Ethanâs clever trick would have been discovered much sooner.

Regardless, his intentions seemed commendable; even though he spun quite a tale, it was always for the benefit of Class 6. On this point, they agreed completelyâit was better for Class 6 to thrive than anything else.
As long as they could gain from it, all of this seemed justifiable. With that thought, a smile spread across her face as Elysia replied, âIâll keep your secret.â
