Chapter 207 Chapter 207 65 Seeing that Logan was dead–set on not letting her help with the suitcase, Alyce didn’t push it. Instead, she politely made a “please” gesture, which caught Logan off–guard.

Logan frowned, thinking, ‘Why is Elysia’s friend so polite? So polite that it seems more like a boss–employee thing than a friendship. When did Elysia start having friends like this?‘

A bunch of questions popped into his head. When he looked at Alyce again, there was a bit of curiosity in his eyes.

From the moment they met until now, Alyce hadn’t smiled even once. She didn’t even say a few friendly words like someone helping out a friend would.

Her voice was cold, and she did everything in a no–nonsense way. She was almost like a chauffeur–but no, she was even colder than a chauffeur. The whole vibe she gave off was really cold.

Seeing that Logan was just standing there, staring at her without moving, Alyce finally spoke up to remind him. “Mr. Jackson, this way, please.”

Logan finally came to his senses, stepped forward, and got into the black car. The car sped through the busy streets, turned onto a quiet road, and finally stopped in front of the Arcanum House.

Logan got out of the car and stared at the red–bricked wooden door with the words “Arcanum House” on it, feeling a bit confused.

The famous Arcanum House, well–known all over Clusia–of course he knew about it. It was said that the medicines from Arcanum House were amazing; they could even save people who were almost dead.

He didn’t know why Alyce bring him to Arcanum House and if Elysia could be there.

“Please, Mr. Jackson.” Alyce led him in the house.

Full of questions, Logan followed Alyce inside. They went all the way to the front reception area, where Elysia was sitting in the main seat.

“Boss, I’ve brought the person you asked for,” Alyce said respectfully to Elysia.

Logan was too shocked to say anything; he actually heard that she addressed Elysia boss.

“Logan, please have a seat,” Elysia said, pointing to a chair beside her, telling Logan to sit down. Then, she waved at Alyce. “You can go now.”

“Yes, boss.” Alyce then left.

Logan watched Alyce leave until she was out of sight. After a while, he asked, “Elysia, what’s really going on here?”

“It’s just like you see,” Elysia replied.

“Like what I see?” Logan couldn’t believe it. “Elysia, don’t tell me... you’re the master of Arcanum House?” When Elysia nodded, Logan’s mouth dropped open in amazement.

He thought the news that Elysia was Rowan was breaking enough. It never across his mind that Elysia was also the master of Arcanum House.

Comparing to Elysia, he suddenly felt like his whole twenty–plus years of life were a joke.

Elysia, only eighteen, had two such important titles. Either one of them would be enough to scare people half to death.

Then she turned to Logan and said, “Logan, this is Jack, and those two are Leo and Max. They used to live in Silverstream.”

Hearing this, Logan also stood up politely. “Nice to meet you.”

But the three snorted coldly, especially Jack. His expression changed right away. “The Rosewood family? You mean the family that bullied our girl?” –

Elysia watched him, feeling amused. She was surprised to see the usually fearless Logan being so well–behaved. She wondered what Logan’s parents would think if they saw him like this.

Jack sat in the main seat, while Leo and Max took seats opposite Logan, making the atmosphere a bit tense. “So, um... what’s your name?” Jack asked, looking at Logan.

Logan replied, “I am Logan.”

Hearing this, Jack nodded. “Since she calls you cousin, does that mean you’re Bella’s nephew?”
