Chapter 214

Pampered By Power: The True Heiress Returns

Chapter 214 Emma’s eyes lit up with hope, her voice shaking with emotion. “Robert, I’m in the presidential suite of the Funya Hotel 11 you don’t come to save me, I won’t have any dignity left.”

Hearing this. Robert frowned. “Does your dignity have anything to do with me?”

“Robert, I’m sorry for what I did. I know I was wrong. And if you don’t come to help me, I really don’t know what I’ll do the cried.

Just as Emma finished speaking, there was a knock on the bathroom door–it was Dennis. “Hey beautiful, are you done yet?

Want me to join you and keep you company?”

Upon hearing this, Emma’s expression changed a bit. She covered the receiver and called out towards the door, “No need, I’ll be done soon.” After saying this, she turned on the tap, trying to cover the sound of the phone with the running water.

Once the figure by the bathroom door left, Emma returned the phone to her ear, only to hear Robert’s chilly voice coming through the receiver. “Looks like you’re having a great time. You don’t need anyone to rescue you”

Robert’s words made Emma’s heart skip a beat. “No, Robert, please hear me out-

Her words were cut short when Robert abruptly ended the call, leaving her heart pounding in her chest. If Robert wasn’t coming to rescue her, who else could she turn to?

Logan was in Sivro, but she wasn’t sure if he’d come to her aid. Maybe she could call Bella, and Bella could talk some sense into him.

She had to try something–time was running out. If Dennis got impatient, he might force his way in, and then it would all be over.

Her mind racing, she quickly scrolled through her contacts and found Bella’s name. Her fingers trembled as she hit the call button. If Bella didn’t answer, she could already see her fate unfolding in the darkest of ways.

The phone rang twice, and luckily, Bella answered it. A flicker of hope sparked in Emma’s eyes. “Mom, it’s me,” she said, her voice shaking.

Bella’s fingers tightened around the phone. She’d thought Emma wanted nothing to do with her. So why the sudden call: Has Scott done something to force her hand and she wants me to take her back?‘ she wondered.

“Why are you calling me?” Bella’s voice was guarded. After everything that had happened, trust was a fragile thing. It wasn’t easy to go back to the way things used to be.

Emma was furious at Bella’s coldness, but she knew this wasn’t the time to talk back. She needed to focus on what really mattered.

Taking a deep breath, she softened her tone. “Mom, Scott betrayed me. He gave me to a middle–aged man. I’m in the presidential suite at the Funya Hotel.”

Bella frowned with fury as she immediately got what Emma meant. She’d always known Scott was ruthless, but this was beyond the pale. Emma wasn’t his real daughter, but eighteen years of father–daughter bond, and he’d betrayed Emma like this.

Bella wondered, ‘I’m so naive to think Scott would treat Emma well. No wonder I always felt something off when he car Shecrity–

he wanted to take Emma away for this. I don’t care about his little plan, but why did he hurt Emma?”

Anyway, no matter how disappointed Bella had been in Emma lately, she was still her daughter—her flesh and blood. No one had the right to hurt her.

When Bella didn’t respond, Emma’s panic surged. “Mom, I know I’ve messed up. I’m begging you, please save me. Call 1/3 to 14:15 Wed, 5 Mar Chapter 214 Logan and get him to come. Please?”

“Alright, just stay calm,” Bella said. “I’ll call Logan right now.”

Relief washed over Emma’s face as she wiped away her tears. “Thank you, Mom. Please hurry. If he gets here too late, I’ll be done for.”

“I will,” Bella promised, her mind already racing with plans.

After hanging up the phone, Berenger and Odalyn exchanged worried glances. Something was clearly off about Bella. Ever since she’d taken that call, she seemed shaken and anxious.

“Is everything okay?” Odalyn asked, her voice filled with concern.

But Bella didn’t answer. Instead, she scrolled through her phone with trembling fingers and dialed Logan’s number. The seconds ticked by like hours as she waited for him to pick up.

Finally, the call connected, and she blurted out, “Logan, Emma’s in trouble. She’s at the presidential suite of the Funya Hotel.

You need to get there now. If you’re late, she might suffer.”

Logan’s mind raced. He didn’t know the full story, but the urgency in Bella’s voice was unmistakable. “Don’t worry, I’m on my way,” he replied, his voice steady despite the turmoil inside.

“Thank you,” Bella whispered, hanging up the call.

“What’s going on?” Odalyn pressed, her eyes wide with urgency. ‘Why the hotel? Why does Logan need to rush? And what does she mean by “suffer“? Could it be that Emma was in some kind of danger?‘ she wondered.

Bella buried her face in her hands, her body shaking with sobs. “It’s Scott,” she cried. “He gave Emma to some middle–aged man. She’s at the hotel now. I told Logan to go and try to save her.”

Berenger’s face turned red with anger. He slammed his fist down on the coffee table, making a vase teeter dangerously. “That bastard!” he roared, pulling out his phone. “Don’t worry. I’m calling him right now.”

“No!” Bella cried out, her voice raw with desperation. “If you call him, you’ll just warn him. Scott is working with that man. If they find out Logan is coming, who knows what could happen to Emma?”

“She’s right,” Odalyn chimed in. “Calling him will only make things worse.”

Reluctantly, Berenger was convinced and pocketed his phone, frustration boiling over. He slammed his hand on the table again.

“Can you believe he’d do this? I thought he’d changed, but I was wrong. Some people never really change.”

Ven if Emma had her flaws, she was still family. Bella had raised her, and no matter how much they disliked her at times, they couldn’t stand the thought of her being hurt.

Berenger shook his head, horrified at the thought of the scandal that would erupt if this got out. It wouldn’t just tarnish Emma’s reputation–it would drag the entire family’s name through the mud.

Looking back, Berenger realized how naive he’d been. When Scott had come to pick up Bella and Emma, something had felt off, but he’d brushed it aside.

He’d assumed Scott was there to make amends and to give their family a second chance. After all, Scott had come in person, and it seemed like he was willing to forgive Bella. Maybe they could put the past behind them and start anew.

Divorce was unthinkable, especially at their age. And the reasons for it were too humiliating to even mention.
