Elysia looked at the silver mask in her hand, thinking about the times she played the piano with Holden. It made her heart feel warm. To other people, the gift might not seem like much, but to her, it was super special. She loved it.
After putting the box away, Elysia smiled brightly and said, âThanks, Holden. I really love this gift.â
Hearing that, Holden finally relaxed. His tense face broke into a smile, and he felt relieved that Elysia liked his gift.
Just when everyone thought the giftâgiving was over, Yehoshua spoke up. âElysia, I got a gift for you, too.â
The other three Evans brothers stared at Yehoshua in surprise. âAnother gift? Didnât he already give one? they thought.
Holden frowned, thinking Yehoshua was the sneakiest of them all. He complained in his mind, âHeâs quietly prepared a gift without telling anyone, saving it for last. Is he going for the grand finale?â
Ignoring their looks, Yehoshua pulled a key from his jacket pocket and handed it to Elysia. âThis is the key to my apartment.
Thereâs a room ready for you, and your gift is waiting inside.â
Everyoneâs eyes turned to him with a hint of warning.
âA room? Isnât that a little obvious? Heâs practically trying to take our sister alone, the other three Evans brothers thought and frowned. âYehoshua isnât the only one who has a houseâ
Holden looked at Elysia. âElysia, thereâs a room for you at my place, too. Youâre welcome anytime.â
Javier glanced at him sideways. âLook at you, such a wimp.â He turned to Elysia. âIf youâre bored, come visit me. The room I prepared is just as good as theirs.â
Elysia thought to herself, âJust a second ago, Javier was criticizing Holden, and now heâs saying the same thing?â
Before she could react, Fabian cut in with a deep voice, âElysia, my villa at Creston Bay is way better than their apartments.
Come stay with me.â
The other three Evans brothers turned to Fabian, surprised. He was usually so reserved. They were shocked he would be getting involved in where Elysia should stay.
Fabian knew exactly what they were thinking. âAnything could be shared, but not Elysia,â he thought to himself.
Edward, on the other hand, was furious. He thought, âIâm still right here. What do they mean, trying to take my daughter away?â
He said, âElysia isnât going anywhere. Sheâs staying home. Donât even think about it, you little rascals.â
âThatâs right. Are you trying to take Elysia away with all your sweet talk? Do you think your rooms are better than ours?â Quinita said, her voice tinged with annoyance.
She wasnât really mad, but she couldnât shake the feeling of her sons competing with her for Elysiaâs time.
Olive laughed at the scene. Berenger and his family, sitting in the living room and watching the scene, felt relieved. With the Evans family doting on Elysia, they didnât have much to worry about anymore.
They couldnât help but feel sorry for the trouble Elysia had faced with the Rosewood family. Just then, Logan spoke up, âElysia, I got a gift for you, too.â
Logan looked at Elysia with a smile, determined not to be outdone by the Evans brothers.
Curious, Elysia walked over, and the Evans brothers all focused on Logan, wondering what heâd give her.

Logan pulled a box from his pocket and handed it to her. âIâve had this since I was a kid. It means a lot to me, like my lucky charm. Now Iâm giving it to you, hoping it protects you and gives you strength.â
Elysia opened the box to find an emerald pendant inside. Just by its color and clarity, she could tell it was valuable. And it held special meaning for Logan yet he was giving it to her.
âThis is too much. I canât accept it,â Elysia said, closing the box and handing it back to Logan.
But Logan waved his hand, not taking it back. âItâs my gift. Donât refuse it.â
âElysia, since itâs Loganâs heartfelt gift, just accept it,â Odalyn joined the conversation and said.
Seeing she couldnât refuse, Elysia finally accepted it. âThanks, Logan.â
Olive smiled, happy to see the lively scene. She waved at Elysia. âElysia, come sit with me.â
Elysia walked over and sat beside Olive, with Elena and Ava sitting on the adjacent sofa.
Olive then asked, âElysia, now that youâre back to the family, have you thought about school? Do you want to stay in Jorlandia or go back to your old school?â
Initially, Olive had planned to enroll Elysia in a school in Jorlandia. But after seeing her come down the stairs holding hands with her friends, she reconsidered.
In Sivro, Elysia had friends at her school. But staying in Jorlandia would mean starting over in a new environment. Olive wanted to hear what Elysia thought before making any decisions.
Elysia paused, thinking, âBefore, I wanted to go to school to prove something to Emma and upset her. But now?â
Her eyes landed on Elena and Ava. High school seemed pointless for someone with dual masterâs degrees from Harfard University.
Elysia knew she could stay home and still have a fulfilling life. But doing so would mean drifting away from Elena, Ava, and her friends in Class 6.
Deep down, she couldnât ignore the tug in her heart. She couldnât let go of the past, of Elena and Ava, or those genuine smiles in Class 6. There were just too many things she couldnât bear to leave behind.
She joined the school because of Emmaâs provocations. Now she couldnât let go because of these amazing people.
Since Olive finished speaking, Avaâs gaze had been fixed on Elysia, never wavering. Her eyes were full of hope, eagerly waiting for the answer she wanted to hear. She wished Elysia could go back to Sivro, hoping everything could remain the same.
Ava longed to walk every corner of the campus, arm in arm with Elysia, and snuggle beside her, listening to her when other students approached to check answers right after each exam.
She hoped to see Elysiaâs graceful figure on the basketball court in the future, wishing she could be a part of every day ahead.
Seeing Elysia quiet for so long, Ava felt anxious. âElysia-â
As soon as she began to speak, her hand was secretly grasped by Elena. Ava looked at Elena in confusion, only to see her shake her head, signaling her to stay silent.
