23 The car drove into Sivro, and as it passed near a shopping mall, Elysia spotted a familiar figure. Zoe was kneeling on the ground, dressed in tattered clothes, her face dirty and unkempt. In front of her was a chipped bowl, a pitiful sight.
Though her appearance had drastically changed, Elysia recognized her immediatelyâBella. âSo this is what happened after she left the Rosewood family and Jackson family? Reduced to begging on the streets?â Elysia thought, her expression unreadable.
âStop near that beggar,â Elysia instructed.
Yuna, who had also noticed Zoe, nodded. âYes, Boss.â
Bella knelt on the ground, pleading for spare change, but no one paid her any attention. Tears streamed down her cheeks as despair began to take hold. Just as she was about to give up, a harsh blow sent her spiraling further into misery.
Security guards from the mall approached, grabbing her by the arms and hauling her to her feet. She struggled desperately, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldnât break free.
In a moment of desperation, she bit down hard on one of the guardâs wrists. The guard yelped in pain and let go, causing the others to release her as well.
The bitten guard, furious, kicked Bella to the ground. âYou filthy beggar! Are you some kind of dog?â He spat, delivering another kick.
Bella curled into a ball, shielding herself from the blows and insults, too afraid to fight back. Just as the guard raised his foot for a third kick, a sleek black car pulled up in front of them.
A strikingly beautiful young woman stepped out, followed by a tall, expressionless man who stood rigidly behind her- clearly her bodyguard.
The guards immediately backed off, recognizing the young womanâs status by her demeanor and attire. Crossing someone like her could have serious consequences, especially since some wealthy people had a habit of playing the hero.
Bella had already recognized Elysia. She quickly covered her face with her hands, scrambled to her feet, and bolted.
Yuna leaned closer to Elysia and whispered, âBoss, should I go after her?â
âNo need,â Elysia replied coolly. She turned her attention to the guards. âDoes she come here often to beg?â
The guard mocked. âNot often, but she shows up occasionally. She ruins the mallâs image. We chase her off every time, but she just keeps coming back.â
Elysiaâs gaze followed the direction Bella had fled, her eyes icy. âShe brought this on herself, Elysia thought. âThis is the life she chose.â
Inside the car, Zoe had been watching the scene unfold through the window. For some reason, the sight of Bella stirred something in herâa strange, inexplicable feeling, as if they had known each other long ago.
But she was certain sheâd never seen her before. As she pondered this, the car door opened, and she quickly averted her gaze, pretending nothing had happened.
The car started up again and soon arrived at Milton School. Elysia stepped out, confirmed her identity with the guard, and headed toward the school building.
ity Meanwhile, in Class 6, Ava was slumped over her desk, looking utterly dejected. A crowd of classmates had gathered around her, making the space feel cramped.

âAlright, everyone,â Eric interjected, âWe all have our own paths. Even without Elysia, we need to keep working hard. Thatâs the best way to honor everything sheâs done for us.â
As soon as Eric finished speaking, a familiar voice echoed from the doorway. âSo, does that mean you donât need me anymore?â
The class froze for a moment, then turned toward the door in unison. There, leaning casually against the doorframe, was Elysia, her eyes sparkling with amusement. They rubbed their eyes, making sure they werenât hallucinating, and then- almost as oneâ
their faces lit up with joy.
âElysia! Youâre back.â
A warm smile spread across Elysiaâs face, and in that moment, she seemed to radiate light, brightening everyoneâs spirits. The gloom that had hung over them for weeks seemed to vanish, and the world suddenly felt brighter.
Elysia stepped into the classroom, and every pair of eyes followed her as she walked. When she reached the front, the excitement in their hearts was palpable, though for a moment, they were too stunned to speak.
âWhatâs wrong? Have you forgotten me after such a long time?â Her voice broke the silence, and the class finally snapped out of their daze.
Eric scratched the back of his head, his voice tinged with hope. âElysia, youâre not leaving again, are you?â His question echoed the thoughts of everyone in the room. Their eyes were filled with longing, waiting for her answer.
âWhat do you think? Did you really think I came back just to say goodbye?â she replied with a gentle smile. Her words were met with cheers and applause.
Only Ava remained unusually calm. She sat frozen, her eyes wide, as if she hadnât fully processed what was happening. Elysia bent down slightly, bringing her face level with Avaâs, and waved a hand in front of her. âAre you in shock or something?â
At that, Ava finally reacted. She grabbed Elysiaâs hand, her eyes brimming with joy. âElysia, youâre really not leaving.â Her voice dropped to a whisper; her tone deadly serious.
âReally, Iâm not leaving.â Elysia reassured her. Hearing it a second time, Ava finally believed it. Elysia wasnât going anywhere.
Unable to contain her excitement, Ava jumped up from her seat, her earlier calm replaced by unbridled joy. This is the Ava I know,â Elysia thought with a smile.
The bell rang, signaling the start of class, and everyone returned to their seats. The Language and Composition teacher walked in, carrying a stack of textbooks. When she noticed the previously empty seat was now occupied, a smile spread across her face.
âClass, today weâll be reviewing Edgar Allan Poeâs âThe Ravenâ. Please turn to the corresponding page.â
The sound of flipping pages filled the room. Everyoneâs face was filled with determination, and the atmosphere classroom was vibrant and motivatedâa stark contrast to the lifelessness of before.
ne The teacher taught with renewed energy, fully aware that this change was thanks to Elysia. Her return had injected a dose of vitality into Class 6, breathing life back into what had been a stagnant group. Elysia had a unique magic to bring people together.

A little head peeked in, scanning the room until her eyes landed on the stunning face sitting at the back of the classroom. âElysia!â She waved enthusiastically, her face beaming Hearing the familiar voice, Elysia looked up and smiled. âAliceâ
