Chapter 31
Pampered By Power: The True Heiress Returns
Chapter 31 Chapter 31 As the principal, Levi wasnât gonna stand by and watch Elysia mess up her future. âElysia, you can pick any class but Class 6â he said, leaning forward in his seat.
âIâm dead set on Class 6,â Elysia shot back, her voice as solid as a rock.
âClass 6 is a noâgo for you. Itâs packed with kids who couldnât care less about hitting the books. Youâre gonna fall behind for sure,â Levi warned, his brow furrowed in concern.
Elysia got what Levi was saying, but she wasnât buying it. She thought Class 6 was right up her alley.
She said, âSo what if theyâre not bookworms? Thereâs more to life than just studying, and I donât think theyâll bring me down.
âSir, I want Class 6. Iâm not looking to slack off. Iâll promise you, if my grades take a nosedive, Iâll transfer to another class in a heartbeat. Sound good?â
Levi was torn. He could tell Elysia had her heart set on Class 6, but he was worried sick about her future. With how she treated school like a game, moving her to Class 6 felt like giving her free rein.
If she ended up chilling like the rest of Class 6, heâd lose a student who had the potential to nail the SATs, maybe even be the top dog in Sivro.
âSir, Iâve already put my word out there. If my grades dip, Iâm out of Class 6 and into whatever class you say. What do you say?â
Elysia said, her voice firm.
âReally, youâll do whatever I say?â Levi asked, raising an eyebrow.
âIâm good for my word,â Elysia assured, nodding.
âAlright then, youâre cool with being serious in class and not causing any trouble?â Levi continued, his eyes searching hers.
Elysia frowned. âWhen have I ever caused trouble?â
âJust humor me. Will you or wonât you?â Levi prompted, his tone serious.
âSure thing,â Elysia agreed, shrugging.
âDeal. Iâll let you transfer to Class 6,â Levi said, his mind already racing through the plan. If her grades slipped, heâd have her switch classes, and hopefully, heâd get her to focus on her studies If he transferred her classes on a whim, she might not take her studies seriously. Weighing the two options, he chose the one where he had more control. As for whether her grades would slip in Class 6, he was pretty sure they would Class 6 wasnât the top spot for studying or resources like Class 1. The real reason he agreed to Elysiaâs request was to let her hit a âbrick wall.â He hoped sheâd come back more respectful and focused on her studies after taking the hit.
Hearing Levi agree to her request, Elysia picked up the Liberal Arts test papers she had put on the table earlier and said, âLetâs get this timer started.â
Hearing this, Levi pulled a timer from his drawer and hit the star button. By the time Wayne showed up, Elysia had already finished the Language and Composition test. Of course, she still hadnât written the essay.
11:58 Wed, Jan 29 BB.

Just as the clock hit noon, she finished up with the last test and tossed the papers onto the desk, stretching her arms wide.
Levi glanced over, concern etched on his face. âYou are done with all of them?â
âYep, theyâre all right here. Take a look,â Elysia said, leaning back in her chair with a satisfied grin.
Levi picked up the stack, flipped through them, and scowled when he hit the essay section. He pointed at the empty space.
asking. âWhy did you leave this blank?â
âToo much writing. I didnât feel like doing it,â Elysia said with a casual shrug.
Levi was left speechless, but he couldnât really fault her. Sheâd been through two tests back to back and was probably fried. If it werenât for Wayne keeping an eye on her, she probably wouldâve skipped the essay questions on the Liberal Arts test, too.
âNo biggie. Once we get the scores from the STEM Language and Composition test, we can tack on the essay points for her.â
Wayne advised.
Levi nodded. âSounds good to me.â
âI didnât write the essay for the STEM Language and Composition test, either,â Elysia added nonchalantly.
Levi and Wayne stared at her, shocked. She was really testing the limits.
âElysia, the essay is a huge chunk of your grade in Language and Composition. How could you just skip it?â Levi asked, clearly not happy.
âRight, Elysia. Do you have any idea how much youâre setting yourself back by not writing the essay?â Wayne chimed in, his voice a mix of concern and disbelief.
Elysia looked at their worried faces and tried to ease their minds. âDonât sweat it! Iâve got a feeling it wonât be that bad.â
âWonât be that bad? What does that even mean?â they both thought, totally confused. They had no clue what ânot that badâ
meant in Elysiaâs book.
Before they could ask for more details, Elysia was already on her feet. âIf thereâs nothing else, Iâm heading back to class,â she said with a grin.
They swallowed their questions. At this point, they just had to wait for the final results. Then they nodded in agreement. Elysia, seeing their response, turned and left the principalâs office. When she got back to Class 1, her classmates were all wearing expressions of anticipation, waiting to see what would happen next.
She walked straight to Biancaâs desk, hands in her pockets, looking down at her with a smirk. âDonât forget to keep your word.
One oâclock, meet me at the track.â
Bianca clutched her pen tightly, head down, not saying a word.
Elysia leaned in closer, her voice low as she reminded her, âDonât even think about backing out. You remember what happened last time, right?â
âIâve got a habit of recording stuff. If you try to weasel out of this Iâll post the recording on the school forum. You know the consequences,â she warned before heading back to her seat.
In reality, she didnât have any recordings. She was just trying to scare Bianca into keeping her word and prevent her from trying any tricks. In her opinion, Bianca was fully capable of going back on her promise.
11:58 Wed, Jan 29 WBB.
Chapter 31 Even though Elysia was about to transfer t was about to transfer to Class 6, she wanted to settle the score before she left 6%0 Bianca, however, started shaking uncontrollably when Elysia mentioned the recording. She had forgotten that Elysia would have something like that. She had been hoping to just pretend nothing had happened and deny everything. But she hadnât expected Elysia to be so prepared.
If she didnât keep her promise, the recording would be posted on the school forum, and everyone would know she had broken her word.
That would be way more embarrassing than doing frog jumps on the track and could even lead to her being looked down upon. It seemed she had no choice but to go through with the frog jumps.

At one in the afternoon, Elysia was already hanging out on the track, waiting. Then Bianca showed up, followed by a bunch of Class 1 students, all of them looking like they were about to cheer her on.
Elysia glanced at her sideways and said, âLetâs get this started. Make sure youâre hollering loud enough.â Seeing Bianca wasnât saying anything, she added, âOr do you want this to end up on the school forum?â
Bianca kept quiet, but one of the guys behind her piped up, âElysia, is this really necessary? Weâre all classmates here. This ainât good for nobody.â
Elysia frowned. If it was her getting the boot from Class 1 by Bianca, these guys wouldnât be saying stuff like that to stick up for her. Theyâd be cheering and maybe even lending a hand.
She thought they were pretty twoâfaced. But too bad for them, Elysia wasnât one to let things slide.
If it was someone else, they mightâve softened up and just let it go, thinking about old times.
But Biancaâs luck wasnât so hot. She wasnât dealing with just anyone; she was dealing with Elysia. This wasnât gonna be an easy fix.
Elysia glanced at the guy with a mischievous glint in her eyes and said, âWhy donât you take her place? Then she can skip the frog jumps.â
Bianca looked at the guy, her eyes pleading, hoping heâd help her out.
But the guy hesitated, and after a long pause, he said, âWell... how can we mix this up? It wasnât me who made the bet with you!â
âSo, what are you pretending to be the good guy for?â Elysia said her tone light but her words sharp.
At their conversation, the glimmer of hope in Biancaâs eyes vanished.
Elysia watched them with an amused expression and said casually, âAlso, I should clarify that Iâm not really your classmate. Iâm transferring to Class 6 soon.â
