Chapter 377
Pampered By Power: The True Heiress Returns
Chapter 377 Chapter 377 As Oliveâs words sunk in, the two girls exchanged a quick look. Elysia then smiled and took Oliveâs arm. âDonât worry, Grandmaâ
the said playfully, âIâll make sure 1 get along with Lindsey Olive patted Elysiaâs hand gently before turning to look at Lindsey, Lindsey smiled back and assured her, âGrandma, you donât have to worry. Elysia is my cousin, and Iâll take care of her?
Oliveâs face softened as she heard their promises. Finally, she smiled, âWell, then I can relaxâ
She turned to Edward and said seriously, âEdward, starting today, Iâm moving in with you. Is that okay with you?â
Edwardâs face lit up with a smile. âMom, weâd be thrilled to have you! How could we say no?â
Quinita joined in, her voice warm and friendly. âExactly, Mom. Weâve been wanting to ask you to move in for a while, but just hadnât found the right time. Now that weâve found the perfect place, you can settle in and make yourself at home.â
Olive knew Edward and Quinita well. There was no need to askâtheyâd never turn her away if she wanted to move in.
Lindsey smiled and added, âIâll leave it to you both to take care of Grandma. Thanks, Edward and Quinita.â
Quinita chuckled softly, her voice gentle. âOh, sweetie, donât say that. Itâs what we should be doing anyway?â
She then turned to Olive with a warm smile. âMom, your room is just the way it used to be. The housekeepers will clean it every day, and Iâll have them change the sheets and bedding, so you can move in whenever youâre ready.â
âYouâre too kind, Quinita, Olive said, her eyes full of gratitude.
Quinita smiled brightly. âMom, itâs nothing. Iâm just happy to have you here.â
Olive laughed softly, teasing, âYouâre just so sweet, arenât you?â
Her playful tone made it clear how much she cared for Quinita, and everyone could hear the affection in her voice.
The room filled with laughter. Lindsey grinned and said, âItâs because Quinitaâs so happy to see Grandma.â
Just then, a cheerful male voice rang out from the door. âElysia, Iâm home!â
Holdenâs voice was full of excitement, but when he stepped inside and saw the group of people, he froze, clearly shocked.
He knew Elysia was back, but no one had told him thereâd be so many people here.
âUh... is today some special occasion?â Holden asked, looking confused.
Edward gave him a side glance and smirked. âYou little troublemaker, canât you see your grandmaâs here?â
Only then did Holden notice the elderly woman sitting next to Elysia, her hair completely silver. He quickly straightened up, his face turning serious, and bowed his head. âGrandma, what brings you here today?â
Yehoshua, with a knowing smile, spoke up. âGrandmaâs going to be living here from now on.â
Upon hearing this, Holden burst into laughter. âReally? Thatâs awesome, Grandma! You shouldâve moved in here a lot sooner!â
He grinned and then turned to Elysia, his face lighting up with excitement. âElysia, Iâve got a gift for you this ve.â
âA gift?â Elysia asked, a little confused.
1/3 10:20 Fri, 21 Mar Chapter 377 âYep,â Holden said, walking toward her. He pulled a document out of his bag and handed it to her.
Elysia looked at the paper. It was a property contract for Stellar Estates in Sivro. âHolden, whatâs this?â she asked, raising an eyebrow âItâs a gift for you. I was going to handle the paperwork in Sivro, but since youâre back, we can just do it tomorrow,â Holden said, his tone full of excitement.
âBut Holden, I already have a place to live,â Elysia said, still puzzled.
âItâs different. The place Fabian got you doesnât count. This is my gift to you,â Holden said firmly.
Olive, watching the two of them, chuckled. âSince itâs Holdenâs gift, you should just take it, Elysia.â
Elysia felt a mix of emotions. Sheâd only gone to Sivro for school, and she had already had two properties.
Plus, with all the estates and villas she had in other places, it seemed like she wouldnât need to work again. She could just sit back and collect rent for the rest of her life.
âIf you donât take it, Iâll be really upset,â Holden said, his face full of exaggerated sadness.
Seeing his pitiful expression, Elysia sighed and nodded. âOkay, Iâll take it. Thanks, Holden.â
Holden reached up and ruffled her hair. âDo you really need to be so polite with me?â
Elysia stuck out her tongue at him playfully but didnât say anything.
Holden chuckled and gently tapped her on the head. Fabian and his brothers, watching the playful exchange, couldnât help but feel envious. They wanted to mess around with Elysia, too.
Lindsey, with a smile on her lips, watched the playful moment between Elysia and Holden. For a brief second, she was reminded of Evelyn, not by the look, but by the feel.
Evelyn had always been frail and sickly, her face pale. Maybe because of her condition, Evelyn never had the energy to joke around or play like this.
After helping Olive settle in, Elysia stepped out onto the balcony. She pulled a cufflink from her pocket and examined it carefully.
Then, she took out her phone and dialed a number.
âElysia, what made you think to call me today?â A bold, teasing female voice came through the phone.
âCynthia, Iâve got this cufflink here. Can you help me figure out which designer made it?â Elysia asked.
âA cufflink? Sure, send me a picture,â Cynthia said.
âOkay,â Elysia replied, and then she hung up the phone.
Cynthia was someone Elysia had met in Morgania. She was from Clusia and worked as a fashion designer, with special expertise in cufflinks.
Not long after Elysia sent the picture, she got a reply from Cynthia. [Elysia, I just checked. This cufflink is a custom menâs design by Barrett.]
When Elysia heard the name Barrett, her eyebrows shot up. She knew that name well. Barrett was a big name in Morgania, a designer famous for his unique style, and highly sought after by the rich.
His cufflinks were customâmade, rare in stores, and always limitedâedition.
Elysiaâs eyes narrowed as she studied the cufflink. Her fingers traced the smooth edges, but she couldnât shake the feeling 2/3 53 10:20 Fri, 21 Mar Chapter 377 that this was no ordinary piece of jewelry.
Is Evelyn trying to tell me something with this cufflink? But what could she be trying to say? Elysia wondered.

She closed her eyes, thinking for a moment. Another thought crossed her mind. Maybe the cufflink belonged to her father or one of her brothers.
Although sheâd never seen them wear anything like it, she couldnât completely rule out the possibility.
Meeting Barrett and finding out who ordered the cufflink might give her the answers she needed.
With that thought in mind, Elysia quickly opened her eyes and typed a message on her phone. [Cynthia, can you help me get in touch with him?]
Her phone buzzed less than three seconds later.
Cynthia: [Iâll give it a try.]
Elysia: [Thanks.
After sending the message, she slipped her phone into her pocket and leaned her hands against the balcony railing. Her gaze drifted over to the red house in the distance.
She really hoped she was wrong.
The thought of Evelyn possibly being forced into somethingâor worse, something even harder to acceptâmade her stomach churn.
If that was the case, then no one but Evelyn knew the whole story.
Elysia stared down at the cufflink in her hand, almost as if she could see through it.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps behind her. She quickly tucked the cufflink into her palm and straightened her posture, preparing to speak. But before she could, she felt a hand rest on her shoulder.
âWhatâs going on?â Lindsey asked, her voice full of concern.
Elysia met Lindseyâs bright, curious eyes, then slowly shook her head. She turned her gaze back to the red house she had been staring at, still lost in her thoughts. She stayed quiet, not ready to share what was really going on in her mind.
This was something that she wasnât ready to talk about just yet.
