A Lesson (1.5)

So I kinda forgot that I write...uh...yep. So anyways yeah I'm working on the next chapter now so yeah I hope to update earlier next time cause...yikes. Sorry for being so late, but uh life is kinda going down the drain so I forgot about my hobby...yayyy.

Also, WARNING ⚠️ mentions of pedophilia in the chapter! I remind you, please don't read if it will trigger you or in any way harm you.

"Well...shit," Jasmine puts her hand over her eyes and sighs, "Good luck there my dude."

"...how am I supposed to do that? Does he even know about vampires at this time? He should know, right?" Jaxx scrunches his nose in frustration and rubs his forehead.

"He does know," Ji-Hye nods and places her hand on his shoulder, "the basic version of his backstory is that he grew up with his childhood friend who is a vampire hunter. Those two train together and grow up killing vampires together."

"Hmm," Jaxx hums and pats her hand, "ok. So I need to convince a vampire hunter to walk into a vampire house?"

Wincing Holly nods, "Yeah, you need to convince him to visit us. Once you get him inside my host and I will take care of the rest."

"If you're so sure," glancing over both of them briefly, "I'll leave it to you then."

Seeing the nod from the two of them he turns to Ji-Hye who speaks up, "Right now you can find him at the park. I'll help guide you there but how you interact with him is up to you."

"...no let's leave it for the morning. He's probably waiting for a vampire right now," he sighs and leans back against the couch.

"I see, then I'll inform you where when you are ready," Ji-Hye smiles and releases her hand.

"Very well," nodding to Jasmine the other system, Holly, smiles at the two of them," we will get you permission to go outside tomorrow. Please do let us know before bringing him home, we do need to be prepared."

"And how will I do that? It's not like I'll know when he'll say yes before I leave."

With a sigh of frustration Jasmine interjects, "This is why it's hard to work with newbies. You can have your system contact mine once they shake hands. It's kinda the reason they've both been hiding behind us."

"Yep," Ji-Hye nods, "We can make contact without a host but it's common sense to have the host agree to it."

"I see..." Jaxx tilts his head, eyebrows furrowed, "I didn't know that you could do that. How does it work...?" Shaking his head Jaxx calmly interrupts himself, "No, it's not important. Anyways, feel free to do it."

"Sure thing host," with a playful wink Ji-Hye and Holly meet at the center of the room. A gentle light glows as their hands touch.

"...what are you? A night light?"

A snort falls from Jasmine's lips, "Phhh, I knew I liked you for a reason!" Smiling she shakes her head and continues, "Anyways, we have to get going. Or else they'll wonder where I am."

"Best of luck," Jaxx nods, "I'll be sure to inform you. Let's hope this plan goes well." Jazz crosses his fingers hanging near his sides.

"Yes," with a flick of her hair she stands up, "tomorrow act a little depressed, you know. Since I 'verbal abused you'."

With a playful smirk he winks, "...sure thing. Good night."

"Good night," lifting her head so her nose points upwards she easily walks out of the room and her voice shrills in an obviously exaggerated way, "We can't have any sort of baboon human ideals in this home, you best learn to speak with respect. Unless...you want me to come again."

Jax watches as she slams the door behind her and stares, "...well, that...that was something."

"...I'm surprised no ones caught her yet. Maybe because the original was even worse trash?" Ji-Hye tilts her head and grumbles, "Honestly, I'm just glad we meet a good host. Some have let their power go to their head or are jaded and would only consider you a nuisance."

"Like the host in the previous world?"

Seeing her host interested she nods, "Kinda. I was able to get more information from the boss because we were the main people able to get evidence. Supposedly, it's the first time she's encountered another host but she has gone through many worlds. Would you like to know more about her personally?"

"...I want to respect her privacy but...will it explain why she acted like a pure douche?"

"It will," seeing him nod she informs him, "Host number 2046, real name Lexi Anderson. She was born into a rich family in America. The two of them were very loving however, her dad had many business trips and her mom cheated with many boy toys. In the end the two split and her dad remarried to a man. She was accepting and welcoming but after her dad left for trips...well..."

Taking a deep breath she stares him in the eyes, "Her new dad was a pedophile. He would sexually abuse her and she was covered in bruises everyday. She was an acrobat so many didn't find it odd but then...she got pregnant. She gathered the courage and went to her mom but she...she demanded she get an abortion and have her the money. Instead of that, she ran to a new town where she made friends with a gay club owner. He was nice and many people liked him. So she worked and lived there with her son until she turned 20. Her son was 5 at the time when she...walked in on the owner doing the same thing she faced to her son and after her son left for school she...she murder the owner and killed herself with a knife."

"..." unable to speak Jaxx stares down at his clenched fist, nails digging in deep enough to leave crescent indents. His eye lids drooped into a glare and body tensed to the point of shaking, "...I...She still wasn't right. I...I can understand her hatred...but it wasn't gay or bi people who hurt but rather pedos that harmed her...I..it's unfortunate that she ran into these people and that she had these horrid experiences but...she tried to kill me because I'm gay? I didn't do anything to her, I barely interacted and she...she pushed me down stairs and almost killed me..."

"That's why her soul was terminated," Ji-Hye gently rubs his back, "she no longer cared about the people she killed, expect for if they were attracted to the opposite sex. She would kill no matter what. Plus she later learned to hack and was bullying the system because she was stressed. We believe the best thing for her is to let her have permanent rest. She was originally supposed to get a second chance at life but...she lost control."

"...I feel sick," rubbing his stomach Jaxx takes a few deep breaths, "I said many cruel things...but...it's never that simple...is it."

"...I'm afraid not host," hugging his shaking form from behind she hangs onto him, her artificial body offering little warmth for comfort.

So that's it for now. I'll be working on the next chapter and hopefully the next chapter won't be as long as a wait as it was for this! Sorry for the depressing chapter but it just kinda happened...yeah. Anyways see y'all soon!!
