Chapter 31
The Greatest Man Alive
Ms. Alexandraâs face was dark, and she laughed gloomily.
âWell, young man, Iâd like to see what you will do.â Ms. Alexandra said, her eyes becoming sharper and sharper.
âIâll beat Mr. Dennis on the ground again. If you insist on helping him, Iâll put your pretty face in the urinal.â Nathan said. thoughtfully.
Dennis was furious, and he didnât expect Nathan not to take him and Ms. Alexandra seriously.
When Brinn saw this scene upstairs, she said, âItâs a big trouble, Iâll call Ms. Perkins.â
Natasha smiled and said, âDonât call her. What an interesting thing, and letâs watch the fun.â
Brinn shook her head and said, âItâs Miss Perkins who broke the contract first, so she must feel a little guilty. Now that Nathan encounters such a big trouble, if something happens to him, Miss Perkins will be unhappy.â
âJade is really kindâhearted. If there is such a pretentious man around me, I wonât care about him at all.â Natasha picked up the red wine and shook her head.
Currently, the atmosphere below was extremely tense.
When Ms. Alexandra was about to speak, her phone rang, and it was Brinn.
She frowned and answered it.
âMs. Alexandra, let him go. Iâll owe you a favor,â Brinn said coldly.
âDo you know him? Since you have said this, itâs okay.â Alexandra smiled slightly after hearing this.
Brinn said, âThanks, Ms. Alexandra.â
Ms. Alexandra said, âThatâs fine.â
Brinn hung up the phone.
âWhatâs wrong?â Dennis looked at Ms. Alexandra and asked.
Alexandra put her phone aside and took a deep look at Nathan. She didnât expect that Brinn would stand up for him.
Alexandra waved her hand and said, âMr. Walter, itâs your fault to step on other peopleâs feet in the bathroom. Someone called me about this matter today, letâs stop here.â
While speaking, she was also a little helpless.
Nathanâs arrogance made her very unhappy, but she had to show respect to Brinn. In other words, she had to show respect to the woman behind Brinn.
After Dennis and others heard this, they were stunned.
Mandy glanced at Alexandra in surprise.
Nathan had offended Ms. Alexandra, but why did she let him go after she answered the phone?
âIf you dare to make trouble in my bar again, you donât blame me for not being decent.â Alexandra suddenly said.
Sitting on the sofa, Nathan pouted disdainfully. He held a glass of wine and took a slow sip, looking like he didnât care at all.
This attitude made Ms. Alexandra full of anger, but she couldnât do anything.
I donât know why Jadeâs assistant would speak for you, but I have to give her face. Next time, if you fall into my hands, I wonât let you go.
Alexandraâs eyes were gloomy, and she thought.
Dennis gritted his teeth fiercely. He suffered such a big loss today, but he couldnât do anything. He didnât dare to disobey Alexandraâs orders. He couldnât afford to offend the person behind Alexandra.
âMs. Alexandra, I do as what you say,â Dennis said in a deep voice.
He waved his hand, and the group of people followed him and left the bar.
After they left, the terrifying pressure Hannah felt immediately disappeared, and her whole body slumped on the seat.
She glanced at Nathan with some anger. Since this man had offended Alexandra, she wouldnât come to this bar in the future.
Mandy walked over and said in a low voice, âHannah, stay away from this man!â
Mandy covered his swollen cheeks and left.
After Alexandra looked at Nathan for a while, she didnât speak any more. From Brinnâs tone, she could tell that this man did not have a deep relationship with Brinn. Therefore, she still didnât take Nathan seriously. She would remember what happened today.
âDo you know what you were talking about just now? I was very nervous.â Hannah said with lingering fear and drank a large glass of wine.
âItâs just the truth, this womanâs attitude makes me very unhappy,â Nathan said, and took a sip of wine.
Hannah felt surprised. This was the first time she had seen someone be fine after offending Alexandra.
At the same time, she was curious about who called Alexandra.
âWho called Ms. Alexandra?â Hannah asked, âMr. Hopp?â
âI donât know, but it shouldnât be him.â Nathan shrugged, and he didnât bother to think about it.
He was full of disdain. It was lucky for Alexandra to answer the call at a critical moment. Otherwise, he would let these people know why Nathan Evans of Devendill Prison would make people frightened when hearing the name.
âThis woman is arrogant because of her backer,â Nathan said.
âWhat backer do you have to look down on her?â Hannah couldnât help but ask.
âIâm the strongest backer.â Nathanâs face was full of disdain.
Those felons in prison treated him respectfully. If he was unhappy, he would let one of them out. Those people would destroy oneâs family in minutes.
Hannah almost spat out the wine in her mouth, and just as she was about to speak, she saw two women walking down from the second floor.
One of them had short hair, and she walked with resoluteness. The other had a beautiful appearance with long hair. She must come from a wealthy family, and her every move showed wealth and honor.
What surprised her was that the shortâhaired woman walked towards Nathan.
Nathan raised his brows in disgust, and said, âDid you call Alexandra just now?â
Hannah was a little surprised.
Who is this woman?
She knew Nathan and could make Ms. Alexandra let him go with one phone call.
Dennis who was arrogant was willing to take a step back after Alexandra said something.
Who is this woman who could make Ms. Alexandra give in?
