Natasha’s desperate days had finally come to an end.

Nathan had already agreed to let her decide whether to stay or leave.

“Don’t look at me like that. I thought we were not only s*x partners,” Nathan said casually.

“Yeah, you are right. We are still enemies. I kill you in my dreams every day,” Natasha retorted.

For a few days, she had been adjusting her mood and started to feel like her old self again.

Nathan shrugged. “I don’t know how long it will be until we meet again. Believe it or not, leaving is really making me sad…”

Natasha listened indifferently. “You are such a hypocrite! I hope you can say things like this the next time we meet. I will return what you did to me!”

Nathan smiled gently, “That’s good to hear. I look forward to it. I hope you can shock me when the time comes.”

He kept Natasha by his side, then let her go for a reason.

Natasha could intensify the conflict between Jade and the Mendez Family, and that was in his favor.

The Mendez Family was the one that kept him away from his family. He had to destroy them.

“When you get back to Emperia City, say hi to my mom if you see her,” Nathan said.

“Ok,” Natasha nodded.

It would seem too petty if she refused a simple request like this.

The car had entered the underground parking lot of the airport. After the car stopped, Natasha unfastened her seat belt and got out of it.

Nathan followed her. He didn’t mind being nicer to her as they were about to separate. The parting wasn’t sad at all.

“Ok, that’s as far as you can go. I think we will meet soon,” Natasha stood in front of him and said proudly.

Her high-heeled boots made her legs slenderer and sexier than ever.

“Just like that and you are leaving? Shouldn’t we do something unforgettable before you leave?”

“What do you want? A hug?” Natasha sneered.

“I took you in when you were at your lowest. I even bought back the mansion you sold. Shouldn’t you thank me for it?”

Natasha was baffled for a second and threw herself to him.

Nathan held Natasha in his arms and sighed.

“You are right… Thank you. If it wasn’t for you, I’m afraid I wouldn’t even have the courage to live!”

Natasha said firmly.

Natasha was speaking from the heart. She was severely depressed after she failed. But she had the courage to live again because of Nathan’s humiliation.

The reason why she desperately wanted to start over and succeed was that she wanted to get her revenge. She was dying to make Nathan feel the same humiliation and embarrassment that he had given her.

“Hope you won’t be confused in the future,” Nathan smiled gently and said.

Natasha looked up, stared at Nathan for a while, and nodded. “I hope you won’t be killed by others before I kill you!”

“Don’t worry. I won’t… You are too pretty, and I am looking forward to getting into your pants again,”

Nathan grinned and began to caress her thigh.

She thought maybe she got used to his touching over the days because she didn’t feel any resentment against him.

Natasha mocked herself inside and turned around to go through the security. Before she disappeared from his view, she looked back and saw Nathan was still looking at her. She raised her right hand, stretched it under her neck, and slowly made a sign of cutting her throat.

Nathan laughed. He squinted and blew a kiss in her direction.

Natasha returned to her old self. The icy and aloof Ms. Porter again.

“She is a proud woman just like Jade. It is not easy to tame her!” Nathan murmured.

Then he waited until Natasha disappeared from her view and left the airport.

The moment Natasha stepped onto the plane, she felt an inexplicable sense of relief. But at the same time, she felt like she had left something important in that city.

But how was that possible?

She had complicated feelings because she finally escaped from Nathan but had to start again.

It wouldn’t be easy. It also could be dangerous.

She even admitted in her heart that the time she stayed in Mimar City was the most relaxing time for her because she didn’t. have to think about or do anything. Even if there was a big crisis, Nathan had always dealt with it.

Natasha looked out of the plane window in a daze. There were successful men in the first class. But most of them wouldn’t dare to approach as they saw her icy and aloof expression.

She was the noble lady of the Porter family again before she didn’t even arrive in Emperia City.

When she woke up, she was already in Emperia City. Natasha checked her clothes, got off the plane, and walked out of the airport.

An old man was standing at the gate of the airport. His silky hair was braided into one braid and put behind his head, and he was wearing a very old long gown. His clothes were odd and caught everyone’s attention. However, the man didn’t even blink. He was calm as a cucumber.

“Ms. Porter! This way!” Natasha heard an old man shouting her name.

Natasha turned back as she heard the voice.

Then, she couldn’t help being startled. “Mr. Mendez? Are you here to pick me up in person?”

The old man’s name was Ralph Mendez, and he was the guardian of the Mendez Family.

Ralph nodded slightly. “Too many people want to kill you, Ms. Porter. I have to meet you in person so that nothing bad will happen to you.”

Natasha sighed with relief. “Thank you so much, Mr. Mendez. I appreciate it. And sorry for causing you all the trouble…”

“It’s okay. The Mendez Family entrusts you with heavy responsibility. Besides, I can walk.”

Everyone knew that Ralph seldom walked out of his house to meet people. If he did, then it meant Natasha was someone important to him. Thus, after people found out what had happened, they would no longer try to hurt Natasha.

Natasha looked at this old man dressed uniquely with curiosity.

He was of medium height. His back was arched a bit with grey hair and a wrinkled face. She even saw some senile plaques on his face. He didn’t look like a master that could protect the Mendez Family for a century!

“Are you curious about me?” Ralph looked Natasha in the eye and asked with a faint smile.

“Yes, I am,” Natasha admitted.

“Actually, I’m also curious. What do you think of Nathan? The man who forced you to stay by his side and killed my apprentice,” Ralph asked.

Rage crossed Natasha’s face as she heard Nathan’s name.

Then she replied with a sullen voice, “He is despicable and plays dirty. But at the same time, he is smart and competent.”

Ralph nodded. It seemed that Gustave’s death had nothing to do with him.

Natasha asked, “Will you do it yourself?”

Ralph pondered for a second.

After getting into the car, he responded, “If he dares to come back to Emperia City, then I will.”
