Chapter 1546
Julian’s Stand-In Wife
Julian stopped talking to the butler, but he was already making plans in his heart.
He returned to the study, and told Diana, âFanny and Oliver have been fighting for a long time, and it might be over something that might potentially destroy their relationship.â
In factâ¦
âFanny might no longer love Oliver right now.â
However, the fact that Oliver faked her death and confined her was enough to show that he still cared for her.
If he realized that Fanny no longer loved him, he might do something even crazier.
âLetâs hurry up and save her, then!â Diana said.
âWait,â Julian said calmly, âIâm not done with my prediction.â
âWhat?â
âOliver really doesnât like you now.â Julianâs mood lifted as he arrived at his final conclusion. âWe can step in to help Fanny.â
Diana was dumbfounded.
She had thought that Julian went to such great lengths to analyze the situation for the sake of saving another. To think that his possessiveness took over, and he prioritized figuring out Oliverâs feelings for her instead.
âNoel,â Julian issued his orders. âTake down Dianaâs portrait and take it away.
When I see Oliver, Iâll thank him for giving me such a beautiful portrait.â
Diana remained silent.
The butler stood idly by watching Julianâs men take down the portrait and take it away, but he didnât dare to stop them.
Sean had managed to retrieve Oliverâs cloud account, and located Oliver through the account. âHeâs right there.â
Sean opened the map and pointed at the little red dot on the screen.
âMr. Channing is right here,â he said.
He was at a graveyard.
Just a while back, they had sent Fanny off at that place.
Now that she thought about it, it was such a joke that they had paid their respects to an empty grave.
Oliver had them all fooled.
Kenneth Channing was buried in this graveyard, too.
Oliver was indeed right there.
He made Erin and Fanny stand opposite him. Fanny was holding onto the recording from the hospital.
âOliver, let Erin go,â Fanny demanded. Her gaze on Oliver was no longer hot and searing. Rather, it was bereft of all affections she used to have for him.
In fact, it felt as though she was looking at a stranger.
The way Fanny looked at Oliver made his heart ache sharply. His eyes turned cold as he ordered, âGive me the recording of my father first.â
Oliver treasured Kennethâs pride, and didnât want people gossiping about him after his death.
Oliverâs demand crushed all expectations Fanny had buried in the depths of her heart.
âOliver Channing, you didnât disappoint your father after all.â
Before he died, that old fox knew that Oliver would never allow her to publish the recording.
Butâ¦
âHis sins must be made known to the world! His involvement in that car accident, the policeman who covered up for himâ¦all deserve their just punishment!â
This was Fannyâs bottomline. She would never give Oliver the recording.
Oliverâs gaze turned sharp and piercing.
âFanny Smith, I have control over your company and its celebrities. If you donât hand over the recording, you know very well the consequences!â
Erin was under their control. Although she wasnât harmed, it was clear that she was not very mentally stable.
Oliver was vicious in his ways. Fanny couldnât help but curse him, âOliver Channing, you bastard!â
âFanny, youâre the one who decides whether Iâm a bastard or not.â
As long as she was willing, he could still be a good husband to her and a good father to their children.
