Abhimanyu:

After we were done with lunch I received a call from Mr Wadia, our client. I excused myself and went to pick up the call. I was busy discussing the contract. He has been getting on my nerves lately. I have to show who's the boss.

I ended the call and walked in the house, my eyes widened seeing the scene in front of me. That girl ishi's cousin was fully drunk and he was running towards Ishika's direction. 'wait what!!!' without wasting a single second i ran towards them and before that girl could stab Ishika i held the piece of vase giving a cut on my hand.

Ishika:

I didn't feel any pain but I couldn't hear gasps. I opened my eyes only to see Abhi standing in front of me. Little drops of blood were falling down. He snatched the vase piece and threw it away. Siya was looking at him in horror.

I quickly went to him with tears forming in my eyes. I held his hand checking his injuries. Thank god the cut wasn't that deep. "b-bhai first aid please"

I was sitting in Bhai's room treating Abhimanyu's injury. I was controlling my tears to fall down. I could feel his continuous gaze on me. But I was just looking down, unable to meet his gaze. After dressing his wound I kept the first aid at the side. "Ishi"

He called me out but I didn't look at him. He placed his fingers under my chin and made me look at him. "Ishi are you okay?" What is this man.. he is hurt and he is asking me if i am hurt or not. "Abhi i am sorry" i said I felt really guilty of what happened. I never wanted my loved ones to get hurt.

"Why are you sorry Ishi? Hm?" He asked in his soft voice. "Because of me you are hurt" a drop of tear left my eyes. "Hey hey" he wipes the tears of my eyes with his thumb. "It's not your fault why are you crying hm didn't i say that was the last day you cry"

He pulled me in his embrace and caressed my hair. Only this man knew how to calm my heart."abhi you said no one can hurt you.. But still you are hurt?" I heard him chuckling "no one can hurt me it's true but to protect you i can do anything then it doesn't matter if i am hurt" my heart was filled with warmth hearing him. I was truly lucky to marry a man like him. I felt grateful and I didn't know how to return his gratitude. I promised myself today 'I would take care of this man forever, cherish him forever, will be his shield if necessary and love him immensely' "Abhi .. lets go to the doctor" I looked up at him. "Why doctor?" He removed the strand of hair and tucked it behind my ear. "To check your wound"

"It's fine, it's not that deep." Tears again threatened to fall but I controlled it. I never knew siya would go to this extent.i knew she gets what she wants but to go to this extent. "abhi let's go home, i don't want to stay here please"

Yash walked in the room and he was also feeling guilty of what his sister did. "Ishi.." i looked at him "bhai I'll go home now..abhi needs care" yash just nodded and looked at abhimanyu. "I am sorry abhimanyu.. for what my sister did"

Abhimanyu:

"It's okay yash , it's not your fault" i thought for a while "but that doesn't mean I'll forgive that girl" i looked at ishi and then at yash. "Ishi to stay here for a min. Can we talk in private?" yash nodded and led me to his study. Before sending prachi to his room to stay with Ishika.

As soon as we walked in the study. "Yes abhimanyu?" I took a deep breath before speaking. "See yash.. I have all idea about how Ishika was treated here and there's no way I'll let those people get away for what they did and the incident that happened today was simply adding fuel to the fire. I know you love Ishika and care about her. I also know about your business you started on your own.. if you plan to leave your family business do it soon cause after today your father will be on road."

Yash took a pause, he sighed and looked at abhimanyu. "You do what you please Abhimanyu. These people have really been the worst to Ishika and prachi. I was planning to leave this house and now that Prachi is pregnant I can't let her stay with these people. I have signed a new apartment. It's small but it's enough for us two. You don't have to worry about us just take care of our Ishika"

"You don't worry I'll take care of her well" we both walked out of the study. I went to yash's room where ishika was. "Chalein?" I asked her. She looked at prachi. "Bye bhabhi please take care of yourself don't do excessive work don't take stress okay" Prachi just nods hugging ishika. "You too take care of yourself ishi"

I held Ishika's hand and we both walked downstairs to leave the house. Her chacha, Chachi and that girl were waiting for us I guess. I gave them a cold look before walking to the door. Ishika stopped walking and I looked at her confused. "What happened ishi?"

"Wait a minute" she walked to her chacha chachi. "Chachi ji i know you all hate me i don't even know the reason for it. It was fine until it was me whom you hurt but now" she looked at siya who was glaring at her "you have hurt my husband and I won't accept it. You'll pay for what you did today to my husband. Siya keep in mind i will protect my people and you have no right to hurt me or my people if i come to know you are hurting my bhabhi i swear to god I'll rip of those hands of yours keep in mind"

It was the first time I saw Ishika being this confident and trust me I love it. Ishika was now not scared of her relatives. Instead she was facing them head on. It's true when people say. 'A woman can become tigress to protect her people' this fear i wanted her this fear to go away and thank god she did.

She walks to me and holds my hand. "Let's go" we both walked out of the house leaving three jokers hanging their jaws low. I opened the door for her to get in. She got in the car. The window rolled down and I leaned on the window "wifey you go home. I have Little work to do"

"What work do you have now, hubby?" she asked me leaning near the window "there's a mole in company gotta deal with it" i pat her head "you go home I'll be back soon okay" she nods and moves back. The driver drives off.

I called my assistant who was supposed to bring the documents. "Where are you dev?" Dev who was running for his life as he was late knew if he reached their late his boss would punish him. "Sir.. i am there i am there"

I saw a man running towards me. I hung up the call. This idiot man didn't bring his car and came running. I seriously hired a dumb assistant. He stood in front of me panting heavily. I stood there crossing my arms waiting for him to speak.

"Here sir" he said, handing the documents to me. I took all the documents and marched in. her so called family was in the living room only including yash and prachi. I threw the papers in front of Deepak on the tea table. I signaled him to take a look. Deepak took the papers and slowly his expression turned pale. He looked at me "abhimam-"

"Mr singh for you" i spoke in a cold voice. Deepak gulped and spoke again "mr singh pl..please don't do this i'll be ruined" i smirked and sat on a lone chair crossing his legs. "Its for you to be ruined" aditi grabbed those papers from deepak and her expression turned to horror. "Abh-" she stopped when she saw me glaring at her "mr singh please don't do this"

"Why are you all so over reacting? This is Ishika's father's company which means she is the owner.. You don't have any rights on it.. And this house belongs to her father so with right you are staying here? You have 24 hours, the company handover is already done by my lawyer so all you guys have to do is pack your stuff and leave, get that?" Abhimanyu stood and gave them a last glance "I am not asking you, I am ordering you.. And i don't like anyone defy my orders"

He walks out of the house leaving deepak and aditi who were on their knees begging him. Dev felt a little bad for them "you shouldn't have made him angry in the first place" dev commented and left the house following abhimanyu.

I got into the car which the dev had called. I dropped the dev back to work and I returned home. As soon as I walked in I saw everyone gathered in the living room I guess waiting for me. "Maa papa what happened?" maa just runs to me checking my hand. "Does it hurt a lot?" i just shook my hand "don't worry maa its not that bad"

"I am gonna file a case against that girl. How dare she try to hurt my daughter?" maa said with her cold eyes. Maa is usually so sweet but when someone hurts her family she is scary. I held her hand to calm her down. "Maa it's okay i already took care of it"

Hey cuties i hope you like the chapter. Don't think that aditi , Deepak and siya have received their punishments there's more to come for them. Abhimanyu will make their lives livin' hell so yeah.
