Ishika:

I was in the living room with Ananya. We were watching a movie. More like a horror movie. I am scared of those but yeah I still watch them even if i am scared. It's been 4 days since Abhi has left and I am missing him too bad. We talk everyday.. video chat everyday but still. I miss his warm hugs when sleeping.. he always caresses my hair.

I was engrossed in the movie. I was actually scared but Ananya kept on teasing me that I am scared so I had to watch. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder and at that exact moment there was a jump scare "ahhhhhhhhh bhoott... aa bhoot omg bhoot Ananya bhoot there's bhoot in house" i jumped out of the couch scared.

"Bhabhi bhabhi" I heard Armaan calling me out but was i listening.. I kept on shouting. Ananya held my hand stopping me at a place. "bhabhi take a deep breath, calm down.." I looked at her still scared. "Breath in .Breath out," she instructed me. I took a deep breath and finally calmed myself.

"Bhabhi you scared me" Armaan spoke while glared at him. "I SCARED YOU? I SCARED YOU? YOU SCARED ME BHAI" i kept hand on my heart "it's still beating fast" armaan looked confused "bhabhi i was just trying to get your attention.. i had something important to tell you"

"What is it?" I asked after finally calming myself. "Bhabhi check your email id whenever you are free" i held his shoulder shaking it "did i get the internship?" Armaan nods with a smile "yes bhabhi but I won't go easy on you because you are my bhabhi . Like you got this internship" I nodded happily and rushed into maa papa's room to give them good news.

"Maa papa," I said as soon as I walked in. "what happened bacha" Maa said, calling me in to sit on the bed. Before I could speak papa asked "btw what was all that chaos downstairs?"

"Woh papa.. Actually hum movie dekhre the." (papa we were watching a movie) "tho usme itta chilane jaise kya tha?" papa asked, confused. (so what's there to shout?) "Papa, I got scared and started shouting," I said, looking down embarrassed. Hearing me they both started laughing. "Okay now stop teasing my daughter, Isha, tell me what you wanted to say?" I quickly went to maa and hugged her. "Maa i got the internship" maa smiled and patted my head "i knew it you would get it" maa said looking at papa. "Since when are you starting bacha?" papa asked "i'll have to check the mail papa," papa nodded.

"Did you tell abhi?" Maa asked i shook my head, "no maa i came to tell you first i'll call him now" maa smiles "go then tell him i'll make you your favorite gulab jamun" i quickly nodded and got up "maa ill call abhi and come quickly then help you" with that i rushed out of their room and went to my room.

I dialed Abhi's number but his number was not reachable.. 'Why is he unreachable at times like this?' I sighed and thought to call him later. I went downstairs in the kitchen to help maa in making gulab jamun. We enjoyed the tasty yummy gulab jamun.

At night no one was at home. Ananya went to her best friend's house to finish her assignment, maa and papa went to meet papa's best house as they were back in the city. Armaan went to dinner with his partner. Yeah so I was all alone. I made myself dal tadka and rice as my comfort food.

I went into the living room, played a random movie and started eating my dinner. This abhimanyu was still unreachable. I would scold him as soon as I got through his number. I stuff the dal chawal while watching the movie.

I went into our room after my dinner , I took my phone to call abhi.. But before i could call him suddenly there was a blackout. Everything became dark.. I could hardly see anything. I tried walking but I stumbled on the side table and the vase fell down breaking into pieces.

Suddenly I felt breathless.. I couldn't breathe at all. My leg gave on me and i crouched down, suddenly those memories came back

"Bunny.. My sweet bunny finally i have you here in my paradise"

"Bunny you smiled at his boy right.. And this boy this boy touched your right.. I'll kill him for you"

"Awee bunny don't be scared i wont hurt you instead i'll hurt that person who comes close to you"

"Bunny, I feel so good to keep you in my cage.. My paradise"

"Too bad I have to let you go.. But soon i'll bring you here again and never let you go"

"YOU ARE MINE ONLY MINE YOU GET THAT BUNNY"

Those memories came back to me.. I felt suffocated. I patted my chest so I could breath but nothing was helping me. Then suddenly my phone made a ding sound. I took it in my shaky hands. And the remaining strength in me gave in.

Unknown: Aw bunny are you scared of darkness?

Unknown: don't worry bunny i am here with you i will always be

Unknown: bunny you are like this on snap of my finger so don't think you'll be happy ever with someone else.. You are my happiness and I am yours..

Unknown: i will be coming soon bunny just wait for me

My phone slipped from my hand. My gaze fell on the corner of the room. I suddenly saw a figure in the dark. I was not sure if it was real or I was hallucinating. "Bunny"

"Bunny"

"Bunny"

I kept on hearing it and I closed my eyes covering my ears. Tears were streaming off my eyes but I didn't have it in me to open my eyes or look if it was real or fake.

"Please go.. Please leave me.. Please go.. Please don't touch me.. Please.."

I kept on chanting it to make things worse when it started raining. There was thunder and rain was falling. I covered my ears even more scared. "Please go.. Go don't come near me.. Please let me go" suddenly I felt a pair of arms around me. I know this smell is my abhi's cologne. He pulled me in his embrace, rubbing my back.

Abhimanyu:

I just landed in India . Although I was supposed to come after a week, my cute wife was missing me so I finished my work in 2 days and took my private jet back to come back. I wanted to surprise my ishi so i didn't call her back when i saw her missed calls. My driver was already waiting for me outside of the airport. I got in and he started back to the mansion.

When I reached I frowned seeing all dark. "Was there a power cut?" I asked the watchman who opened the gate for the car. "Yes sir, due to heavy rain there's a power cut" I nodded and got out of the car. One maid came out with an umbrella. I took it and walked in. "Where is everyone?"

"Sir and madam have gone to meet their friend, armaan sir went to have dinner with business partner , ananya mam went to her friend's place and ishika mam is in her room" I looked at maid "ishika is alone?" I saw the maid nodding and rushed to our room. I know she is scared of darkness.

I quickly turned on the flash of my mobile and reached our room. I walked in and the scene in front of me clenched my heart.. My ishi was crouching down with her ears covered. "Please go.. Please don't come near me.. Please don't touch" was all I could hear. I slowly went to her and kneeled in front of her.

There was a fallen vase on the floor. The pieces hit her leg giving a small scratch. Without thinking twice I pulled her in my embrace. I saw her flinching in my arms but she soon calmed down. She cried even more knowing it was me. I just rubbed her back "it's okay.. I am here it's okay"

She clutched my shirt tightly, crying my heart out. "A..abhi he.. He's here abhi he'll take me away abhi.. I am scared i don't want to go abhi please save me" she kept on saying who would come? Who would take her away..this was not the right time to think about it. All I should worry about now is ishika..

"Shhh no one's gonna take you away as long as i am here no one will take you away" i was caressing locks of her hairs. I saw her figure calming in my arms. She had stopped crying. I picked her up and placed her on the bed. I took a jug of water and filled it in glass. "Here drink this" she gulped down the water and handed the glass back to me.

I got up but she held my hand "d-don't go i am scared" i sat back down. And suddenly the power was back. "I was just going to bring first aid, I am not going anywhere" I said, caressing her cheeks. "No.. don't go please" i knew she won't let me go now she was too scared.

I called a maid to get me a first aid kit. She laid down on my lap holding my hand as if I would let it go. The maid walked in the room with first aid and I signaled her to keep it aside. She left the room. "Ishi.. you are hurt, let me apply the ointment" she slowly got up. I took first aid and took cotton.

"It will sting okay" she nodded and I applied the alcohol on her leg where scratches were. She didn't flinched ro hiss .. was she immune to these scratches? I applied the ointment and kept the first aid.

She laid down on bed still holding my hand tightly. I laid down beside her and pulled her in my embrace. My one hand was under her head caressing her hair while my other hand rubbed her arm.

She slowly closed her eyes, falling asleep. She couldn't sleep properly she kept on flinching

"shh it's okay i am here just go to sleep no one will come here no one"
