5 years later:

"Ishi are you ready today is an important day" Abhimanyu spoke as he yelled from the room while ishika was in the closet. It's been 5 whole years and everything seems like it happened yesterday. Today Ishika will be awarded Businesswoman of the Year. Her studio was doing magic in the business industry.

"Yes yes, i am coming" ishika spoke and walked out of the closet. She wore a lavender-coloured saree for the award ceremony. Abhimanyu walks to her "Is it looking good?" Ishika asked if she was still unsure about it. "Jaan, you look beautiful in what you wear, if you like it then why think about other things? You like it you wear it"

Ishika smiles and wraps her hands around his neck. "Hubby you look handsome" Abhimanyu wraps his hands around her waist and leaning in he kisses her. Ishika kisses him back, and they both pull back hearing footsteps near the door. Young Mishika and another boy a little younger than her walked in. "Mumma" the young boy spoke as he opened his arms for ishika.

Ishika smiles and picks him up "Yes maan" he kisses Ishika's cheeks "You look beeutiful" he spoke in his baby voice. Maan was the adopted son of Ishika and Abhimanyu. When Abhimanyu told his family about adopting a baby, everyone was happy and readily accepted maan with open arms.

"Mishi, are you ready?" Abhimanyu asked, mishika nodded and pointed at maan. "Papa helped him with his bow... I couldn't put it" Abhimanyu looked at the untied one around maan's neck and tied the bow. "Perfect" "let's take a picture" Abhimanyu spoke and took out his camera. Mishika walked to Ishika standing beside her.

Abhimanyu sets the camera and puts on a timer he walks to Ishika wrapping his hands around her waist "Say cheese" and the pictures were clicked which turned out to be beautiful.

They all left for the venue where the award ceremony was held, this was a special ceremony for women who will be awarded in different categories. Soon the announcer announced the Businesswoman of the Year award. Ishika stood up walking to take the award while others clapped for her wholeheartedly.

They gave her an award and asked her to say something. Ishika was overwhelmed and she cleared her throat. "When I first thought of starting my own little business I never thought that I would be able to. All I wanted was to make my husband and my family proud and straight. Today I am getting this award. I would like to thank my family, my kids, and most importantly my husband Abhimanyu... Thank you so much and I love you"

Everyone started clapping while Abhimanyu just looked at his wife proudly. After the award ceremony,y a small party was organized in Singh's mansion to celebrate today's occasion. Everyone congratulated ishika. Soon it was time to dance. Abhimanyu took ishika to the dance floor now he was a pro at dancing.

The song came to an end and everyone stopped dancing but ishika and Abhimanyu just stood there staring into each other's eyes... With years passing by their love had just bloomed. They went back to their places to greet the guests.

Swanandi and Armaan were blessed with a boy they named Agastya. He was as naughty as Mishka. Both of them together would turn the house upside down. Ananya and Raghav got married 2 years ago and were blessed with a cute daughter they named her Tanya. Kabir and Anushka too were happily married and moved to the USA to start a new life.

Ishika and Abhimanyu went on their bike ride. Mishika and maan were with swanandi and armaan. Abhimanyu stopped right in front of the Jalebi vendor which was Ishika's fav. He ordered a plate of jalebi and handed it to ishika. Their first date was right at this place. Ishika enjoyed her jalebi while Abhimanyu just admired his wife.

After eating jalebi, Abhimanyu drove to the same hillside place where they went for his birthday. Abhimanyu has set up a small picnic over there for them to settle down. Ishika sat down on the mat, and Abhimanyu sat down beside her. It was a peaceful silence between them. Ishika leans her head on Abhimanyu's shoulder.

"Abhi.. how time passes by.. So fast it feels like we met just yesterday" Abhimanyu smiles remembering how their relationship started. It was an arranged marriage and how they turned out to be in love with each other. What they thought would be a loveless marriage turned out to be a beautiful bond full of love.

"Do you remember our first night? You were so scared that I'll eat you up" Abhimanyu said "Remember his first night "I had a nightmare, you hugged me and made me sleep when I was so scared... I guess it was the first step of our relationship"

"Then we made kheer together, everyone praised me" Abhimanyu went to the past, he helped her drape a saree then he made kheer because she was unable to make it. Just like slowly everything came in front of his eyes. His journey from a cold arrogant businessman to a gentle loving husband.

"Ishi" Abhimanyu held her hand "I may lack in many things, but the only I don't lack in is to love you. By the time we get older, my love will increase more and more. When we're in our 70s looking old and pale our love will be stronger. I just know how to love you and will be loving you till my last breath after that too. Just like this, stay by your side because I am complete only with you. Without you, I am an incomplete person. Ishi just let me love you"

"I am glad I married you" ishika spoke looking at Abhimanyu "I am lucky to be married to you" Abhimanyu spoke pulling ishika into a passionate kiss. A kiss full of love.

How a weak timid ishika turned into a strong independent woman. Her journey from weak to strong was her path to walk but Abhimanyu helped her in every way possible. They both complete each other. There are many things that Abhimanyu can do and ishika can't but there is 1% of things that ishika can do and Abhimanyu can never.

This is how love is, how companionship is you don't need to be perfect for each other, if one person lacks something your partner can fill in that gap. That's how marriage works, that his ow people stay together forever completing each other.
