Exceptional
The Villainess Is Tired
Chapter 43
Silence must have filled the whole room, however, it won't take that long that a groan will be heard. In a seat being gripped on is a lord woke panting non-stop. Wanting to remember what he dreamt. Although it was someone who reminded him every dusk that he had wronged himself, he had wronged her. Oh, it was someone exceptional. He remembered her, that person. He has termed it as that person, her or she than her real name. It was too much pain to mention her name. Since he was the solitary reason for what suffering she is facing. He was the reason.
Tears formed realizing it was her who visited him to his restless night. Through all those memorable dreams he calls as nightmares. She was his nightmare. His demon. His monster. The person who he sinned too. The person who he owes something. That person who gave him his first real affection of adoration. Out of all, he presented eternal wrath of suffering. There was no day, no reincarnation, no time that was reversed that he didn't think of her. She was his sense of continuing his endless life. In the logical beginning he began to lay his eyes on her till the senseless continuation of her circle of rebirth, he loved her, he always will. More than anything. More than nothing. Love comes with pain. She adored him but the right answer whether she loved him above from the current connection they have is to instill its void.
"My king, did you visioned her again?" A bright white-haired kid spoke from the light reflecting his hair. "Ari," His lord whispered. Tiredness was written throughout his face and voice. "Will she forgive me?" Going on with his authenticate doing. Ari, the bright white-haired kid, sighed. He knew his lord too well. Ari had seen him notice and loved that girl he was instructed to meet. That's right. He was needed to be the watcher of that girl. His lord wanted to make sure she was fine before hell open its door to her. Before her placidity ends.
Will she forgive him? Lies. Truths. Reality. Revering and all. What is the real thing behind them? How will she forgive when the one she has been finding out of vengeance is the one on her side the whole time? "The only answer for that is when we take place." Ari had answered his lord's question many times. His answer is already easy to be marked but his lord was stubborn when it comes to her. He wanted a downright response. Altogether, he can't force the right answer from Ari because within him he exactly knows what outcome will happen.
His lord stood coming from the glass window. Every so often, looking outside. For the view outside was one of the memories he has with her. Where she was happily playing around. Minding no one. It was those days he loved the most. With pleasure when he attaches himself to her free nature. Every part of her is what he loves. Scars, flaws she shows that made her perfect. Bounding sides of her, she doesn't show. It all made her unexampled. She was too blissful to one's eye. That made him want to be with her till her end of time. However, fate played with them. It was him who played, he was the player, Ari's lord was the player. She was the sequel of his play. Would everything turn to what he fantasizes about if he didn't make those choices before? Will he meet her normally? Fall in love with her normally? Can she reject or accept his feelings normally? It what was lucidity he sees for. A life with her. Nevertheless, a dreamer's dream will stay as a dream as he is the only one who dreams that to happen.
"How is she?"
Ari breathed again if only he could help his master. Yet how? He couldn't point anything to help him nor her. That person had closed all doors to trust no one. "Does she still remember when I gave her that necklace?" His lord spoke gently once more. It wasn't just her who remembered. Ari clearly can't somehow forget what his master did. On the last day of that person in the orphanage. His lord and Ari switched places. The lord became Ari for the time being. Owning his identity and looks. He wanted to see the young seven-year-old girl leave for adoption. He made fabrication in a letter he gave but a loving gift of a necklace for her. He couldn't face her, yes. A reason that day came to him. Giving a lie and present to her. He can only sprawl to the stories that he made up to be with her. "Sir, I saw her wearing the necklace around her neck commonly. She's alright. Though something had happened at the manor." His lord spun to see his angelic-like face. "What do you mean something had happened?"
"The head's brother brutally showed his beastly punishment at their own knight's ground. The report was spread quickly in and out of the empire. Fearing the head's brother." His lord's brow rose.
"Philip De Alegro. What was the reason?" Curiosity arises. Feeling his gut saying he is connected to her. "The adopted daughter of the De Alegro was being poisoned by her maid for 5 years now." His lord wasn't surprised by the poisoning rather is confound that the assumed calm brother's head is someone like that. "This is....... Amusing."
"Finally, someone has retaliated for her." The kid nod agreeing at his master's assertion. Ari was thinking. Why is something lacking? It was what he was asking himself.
The whole silent dark room light up. Wind lit lights all over the whole room. Blinding dust of light came walking to them. The lord watch as the goddess approached them. "Goddess, good eve." Ari greeted her. "Well, hello, elder." She greeted back. "Farrah, are you the one reaching back from her memories?" Their lord was direct. The goddess heard what was happening beneath the Elysian fields. The goddess shook admitting she don't know what is happening. "Looks like the supremes are handling what we are supposed to be doing. Only some I may say." The goddess voiced her anticipation.
"At least, they are in help." Ari's lord sighed. If only he had known earlier what mistake he did, he could have known that girl normally or differently. He divulge it, never in his life he would need the help of the divinity in his matters. "What war will happen next?" Their lord seems to not be bewildered about it. "I don't know. However, if she will die again in my hands, in my embrace, in my arms. I will do the honors to take her whole body before it will became ashes again. Freeze if I could and I can. There will no person nor deities will stop me from killing their creation of people, only them I will kill." Silence devoured them once more.
"Leave." The goddess shrugged at her friend's coldness. "Sheesh, she wouldn't like your attitude towards me." Goddess Farrah mumbled. Instead of a mocking grin, their friend, lord smiled. "I guess you still don't exactly know her. She will gladly make fun of it than dislike it." The goddess smirk. The only cure for his cold grumpy attitude is always been her.
"Come on, elder, walk me out." Ari got used to being called an oldie though he has a petite cute kid's body, he didn't mind. For him, it was based on the appearance of whether or not to be called an elder. "He still loves her." Ari marked as they walk to the staircase. "We were late.... Too late many times. His love is eternal like him. In my opinion, the gods have already had enough of what suffering she is experiencing again. They have seen some of many who have come to a cycle of rebirth but they couldn't take their attention away from her. The gods don't interfere when it comes to humans yet she is exceptional. It is definitely not because of the power flowing through her veins. Her holy and unholy blood makes her potent. But to the reason of her nature. She is too tired of it. Tired of everything, nevertheless, keep going. They have never seen someone like her. Too forgiving. Too merciless. Too powerful. Too beautiful to be worshiped like a supreme being. They were fascinated than they can ever be towards her. Even I want to be someone who will follow her." The goddess's speech was vulnerably long.
"Still and all, what you all want for her is not what she wants." She huffed at his non-positive answer.
"If only she didn't go through what she has been going through in a cycle, would you think she will be free to join us? Elder?" Ari gave a slap to his fore, giving the goddess a deadpan-looking face. "No, my lord is right you still don't exactly know her role." She rolled her eyes, shrugging then giggling. "I miss her."
"We all do. Goodbye, goddess." The goddess bid her goodbyes then vanish into thin air leaving the once dark villa into a lighter version. "We all do," Ari repeated then left going back inside.
He saw his master sleeping on his chair again. Head resting on the table. He noticed why he slept fast, it was because he was holding a sketch of her. Nuzzling it into his embrace like he is holding a real person. Mumbling soft things. Perhaps talking with her in his dreams. "Oh my," Again, he was helpless. Not knowing what to do because if he interfere with her, someone will come back. Not a single thought bothered him on walking to caress his back. "My lady loves you, master." That is what he whispered in his ears. Although, he was not sure if what he said is true or not. Only for that, his lord will be at ease hazing about her. Yet this time, hopefully,... Hopefully, they can do the right thing this time.
"Lady Mia, hang in there. We will surely be by your side this time." What time was it? A time of one of Mia's reincarnations? Or the time of the returning period. Either are the same. What day, year, hour, seconds, minutes, it was all the same. And one end was for sure. To die in one of their hands.
It was a circle of returning for their lady.
