Noelle began heading toward the kitchen, but Charles pulled on her hand and said, “It’s been a longday for you. Why don’t you go get some rest? I’ll prepare dinner!”

A blush crept across Noelle’s face as she gazed at Charles‘ retreating figure. She lifted a finger totouch the spot where Charles had touched just now, and it still felt slightly warm to the touch. Awave of emotions rippled its way through her, leaving her breathless.
