"please as a group, get together and decide which couple you would like to save." maura told them.

they all huddled while talking. "guys this is fucked." val said while tearing up. they talked about their decision until time was up.

"which couple do you think is the most compatible and why?" maura questioned them.

miguel stood up, "this decision is really hard because speaking from everyone, we all have grown to love everyone in here. so the most compatible couple we decided to save is, kaylor and aaron."

the couples that stood in the front hugged before kaylor and aaron sat back down.

"there is one final lifeline. and kassy you're the lifeline. kassy, you can now save harrison or rob by coupling up right now." maura spoke to the group which left them all shocked.

kassy then stood up, "i want to couple up with this boy because i feel like our time has been cut short. i want to give us time to see if there's something we didn't realize before. so the boy i want to couple up with is. rob."

"oh my god." val covered her mouth. rob walked over to kassy and hugged her.

"so that means, sierra, harrison, and daniela your time on love island is over. you have 30 minutes to pack your things and say your goodbyes."

val got up and hugged daniela first. she was definitely going to miss her as they grown really close after casa. all of the girls helped sierra and daniela pack.

"bye, babies!" val waved to sierra and daniela as they walked out.

after they left all the couples besides kaylor & aaron and kassy & rob sat on the yellow couch. to discuss how funny the challenge was and how they enjoyed it.

miguel sat with his arm around val. "how do we feel about his new crush." she asked the others.

"interesting. she seems nice though." leah replied, the rest of the group agreeing.

all of the girls got ready for bed, kaylor crying about the public's opinions on her. val put on a matching silk pajama set then went in the bedroom, eager to sleep after a stressful day.

val woke up and gave miguel a big hug before going to get ready for the day. she put on a white floral bikini and a did a low messy bun.

after they got ready val, jaNa, serena, and leah all talked in soul ties about the possibility of leah and rob getting back together.

"girl, all i'm gonna say is you were really crying last night when you saw him up there." val laughed.

"stop!" leah covered her face with her hands.

"so what if they both sit there and was like, we both want you." serena referred to rob and liam.

"i would pick liam." leah told them which made val, serena, and jaNa all exchanged glances, convinced she was lying. leah laughed at how well her bestfriends knew her.

after the girls all chatted val went back downstairs with aaron and miguel to play ping-pong. their games were interrupted by kassy yelling. "i got a text!"

"islanders, it's time to really get to know your other half. tonight you will all compete in a high-stakes game, mr. and mrs. the winning couple will receive a very special prize. #truthhurts #iykyk."

"we have to go prepare!" val laughed while dragging miguel by the hand to the couch.

"okay so i know you have three sisters." he pointed at her.

"two." she corrected him while laughing.

val & miguel in beach hut:

"i ain't gonna lie i got the memory of a goldfish. i was never one for studying." he shook his head.

"we're already winners." val smiled while doing a half heart with her fingers, him doing the other half while laughing.

"welcome back to love island usa. tonight all the couples are playing mr. and mrs." iain voiced over.

val put on a matching denim set with pink cowboy boots. she did a blowout on her hair and kept the makeup natural.

the girls walked downstairs while the guys cheered for them. "call me a cowboy now cause damn." miguel looked at her outfit while leaning in for a hug.

they all walked over to the challenge area while they saw ariana walking in. "hi islanders, you ready to play a little game?" she asked them, they all cheered in response.

the boys and girls sat on different sides while ariana explained the rules. she told them the winners of the challenge get video calls with their families.

that made val really want to win, her mom was her best friend in the whole world.

kordell and serena went first. the couple got three points total.

kenny and jaNa were up next. they only scored one point.

next was kassy and rob. ariana asked them a pretty harsh question, "which islander does you partner think is here for the wrong reasons?"

kassy's turn was first to reveal her answer. "i think only because of casa and how some of the boys were moving, sometimes the words don't match the actions. so i would say aaron."

"rob?" ariana asked him. he revealed his bored around which said his own name. "maybe me." he shrugged.

"rob, you could've had a better response to that." kaylor told him.

"a better response? is that kaylor complaining?" he asked.

"oh my god!" val laughed while grabbing onto leah's arm. all of the islanders laughed at the comment he made.

val in beach hut:

"thank you rob for calling it out." she laughed.

rob and kassy ended up scoring two points before it was kaylor and aaron's turn. the couple did really well, scoring four points.

"alright up next is miguel and valentina." ariana pulled their names out of the bag.

val got up from her spot next leah to go sit on the hot pink chair. "alright you ready?" ariana asked them.

"yup!" miguel yelled.

"alright, what was your partners favorite subject at school." val knew it was going to be something stupid so she just wrote down gym class.

"alright, valentina your first."

"my favorite subject was probably like history." she said while miguel silently cheered on the other side.

"alright miguel, what did you say valentina's favorite subject was?" he flipped his board around that said history.

"history!" ariana said while everybody around them cheered for the couple.

"aw, he's a good listener." jaNa said off to the side.

"miguel, what was your favorite subject at school?" ariana asked him.

"p.e." he laughed. "let's go!" val yelled.

ariana asked them their next question. "what do you think your partners biggest regret was in the villa?" val immediately wrote down her answer, knowing what his regret was since they talked about it.

"alright valentina, what was your biggest regret?" ariana questioned her.

"probably just the way i lashed out at miguel and kordell on the dock." she laughed.

"miguel, what did you say?"

"dock situation." he said while flipping his board around. "alright that's a point!" ariana said.

"yeah val!" serena cheered for her friend.

"okay miguel?"

"i would probably say just my word choice at the fire pit after casa. i started off pretty inconsiderate at first." he said.

"okay, what did you say valentina?" ariana asked her.

"i said casa fire pit." she turned around her board. "congratulations! that's a point!" ariana told them.

val and miguel also did very good, scoring all four points.

val in beach hut:

"me when my man listens." she flipped her hair.

lastly kendall and nicole went. they scored three points.

"two couples are tied. kaylor and aaron, miguel and valentina. come join me in these hot seats!" ariana said to the two couples.

val high fived miguel before sitting down. "what percentage of marriages are likely to end in divorce in the first five years?"

"oh shit." miguel turned to val with wide eyes. "i think it's gonna be kind of high." she told him while the two whispered back and forth about the answer.

"i think it's around 25%." he whispered which she agreed with it.

"alright kaylor and aaron what did you say?" ariana asked them. "we said around 42%."

"valentina and miguel?"

"we said 25%." val said while taking a deep breath.

"the percentage of marriages that will likely end in divorce in the first five years is, 20%."

val and miguel immediately stood up and hugged, him lifting her a little off the ground. the others around them all cheered.

"congratulations valentina and miguel. you have won the mr. and mrs. game!" ariana yelled.

"let's go!" miguel screamed. the two went over to kaylor and aaron, telling them both good job.

all of the couples then had to line up, val and miguel at the start of the line. "valentina and miguel, as the most compatible couple you have won a love video call with your loved ones tomorrow. but that's not all." ariana said.

"i knew it." the others mumbled.

"as the winners of the challenge, you can choose two addition couples who will also receive live video calls from their loved ones tomorrow." ariana continued.

"oh fuck." val looked over to miguel. val whispered in his ear, the two discussing who they wanted to pick.

"valentina and miguel, it's time to reveal your decision. who is the first couple you have chosen?"

"so the first couple we've chosen is, kaylor and aaron." miguel smiled. the two immediately running over to val and miguel to hug them.

"thank you so much!" kaylor yelled while hugging her. "we love you guys." aaron joined in the hug.

"okay, valentina and miguel. who is the second couple you've chosen?"

"the second couple we decided to chose for tomorrow is, serena and kordell!" valentina said excitedly. serena and kordell hugged before walking over to miguel and valentina.

"i love you so much!" serena gave her bestfriend the biggest hug possible. val teared up at how happy she was.

"i love you more rena." she hugged her back.

"i'll see you all very soon. goodbye for now." ariana said, walking out.

val and miguel in beach hut:

"we won, aye aye. we won, aye." they danced while singing.

miguel and val then sat on the yellow couch to talk about tomorrow. "dude i'm so happy we won." he told her while wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

"i'm proud of us!" she smiled. "are you excited to see my family." he asked her.

"yes!" she exclaimed, he smiled at how excited she was.

"good i think you'll get along good with them!" he said to her.

"my mom will definitely like you!" she told him.

the two talked about their families before going to bed for the night, being extremely happy and nervous for tomorrow.
