Chapter 82

As the chosen one and responsible for all the changes in the entire magic realm, I couldn't help but

feel wary because I think I made a wrong decision for bringing everyone from the mortal world to

the magic realm. Yes, I undo their punishment, but we gave them another punishment. Which I think

other beings didn't accept in their hearts. In their eyes, we are cruel because we even punished the

councils of the gods. But our judgment is fair and square and even saves them from their grave sins,

which cost our infinite powers and the orbs.

However, everyone will not understand why my sister and I made that decision. Magic brings chaos

to the world. That's why I impose limitations on using magic. I know they resent us but choose not

to comment in front of us. But I know there were other beings cursing us at the back of their minds.

Who wouldn't want to be powerful? Of course, everyone desired power.

Honestly, I was just appraising the councils of the gods if they are still worthy to sit in their

respective chairs. But things went south because Yael took them. Well, Yael does me a favor this

time. Things will get interesting about my plan. If Jupiter and the others decide to go against me

and join Yael and his comrades, I will decide their fate as the chosen goddess of fate.

Knowing Jupiter and the others, things will not be that easy for Yael. Even though Yael still has his

black diamond, the five councils’ combined power will surpass him. I have a feeling Jupiter and the

others will not sway that easily with Yael's plan because they are mortal enemies. However, Yael has

the power of brain control. If he will use it for Jupiter and the others, there's a possibility his plan

would succeed. I hope by the time Yael's forces get stronger, the twenty-five orbs of life and death,

and the six infinite diamonds would already be in our hands.

Now that I think about it, I can easily trace them once I get my white diamond again. Oh well, let's

hope everything will be put in place soon. Right now, Azrael and I went a separate way from the

others. We separate in groups to look at every location of the orbs to finish collecting the twenty-

five orbs of life and death and six infinite diamonds as soon as possible. Darius brought us to the

deserted land of the eastern part of the magic realm.

When we landed on the sand, I could feel the aura of the orbs. I closed my eyes and focused on

calling the orbs. I sighed in relief when it responded to me.

“Alice! There's something glimmering in the distance!” Azrael said. I fluttered my eyes and smiled.

"Yes. I could feel it. Actually, I felt two presence of the orbs. Let's go!” I said, and we hurriedly walked

towards the location of the orbs. I saw Darius fly above us while scanning the area.

“Do you think the others have already found the other orbs?" I looked at Azrael and met his gaze.

“I hope so. I just hope Yael hasn't touched the other orbs yet.” I replied with a sigh.

"What will happen if Yael has the other orbs or the infinite diamonds?”

“All hell will break loose. The magic realm might face destruction again and Yael would successfully

restore the Demon Realm and resurrect his evil mother, Demon Lord Astarte.” I said, and let out an

exasperated sigh.

Azrael froze. “Demon Lord Astarte? I read a book about her. She's the evilest woman that ruled the

Demon Realm 500 years ago. However, the demon realm was destroyed by Princess Amelia, the

most powerful magic user who possesses the destruction power. But it was sad because the

princess sacrificed herself to save the entire magic realm.” he exclaimed.

"Yes. I heard about it too. However, Princess Amelia chose to be reincarnated as an ordinary human.

The real reason she sacrificed herself was to escape her fate. Princess Amelia resented having a

power of destruction because everyone was afraid of her. I admire her bravery though because she

goes alone to the demon realm after she heard a rumor that Demon Lord Astarte would wipe out

the magic realm. Even though she resents her power, she loves the magic realm.” I said while

smiling. We stopped when we reached the location of the orbs. The orbs glistened upon contact

with my hand. I sighed in relief when I found the first orbs of death.

My forehead creased when Azrael went silent. He had a blank look on his face. What was wrong

with him? I snap my fingers in front of his face. “Are you okay, love? What are you thinking? You

suddenly became quiet.”

He smiled faintly. “I was thinking how hard it was for Princess Amelia. Having destruction power was

indeed troublesome.” He looked at me intently. “Alex, if you have to choose to be reincarnated,

would you like to have magic and still live in the magic realm or an ordinary human?” he asked.

“Well, I still would like to be reincarnated having magic.” he looked at me curiously.

“Why?”

“Because having magic is also an advantage. So I could beat up bad guys so easily.” I said and

smiled cheekily.

“You have a point!” he said and chuckled. “For me, I would like to live as an ordinary human being

and live a simple life without worries about when the world would end. But of course, I would like to

be reincarnated wherever you were. As long as I'm with you, I'm satisfied.”

I stared at his face with a genuine smile. “Me too. As long as we are together, I don't care which

realm I would live in.” He caresses my face and gives a peck on my lips. I smiled widely at him.

We continued walking towards the other orbs. This time, it was the orbs of life. Afterward, Darius

landed in front of us and we quickly jumped on his back. Darius flew upward to our next

destination.

“I love you..." Azrael whispered, and my stomach did somersaults.

“I love you too...” I whispered back with a wide smile. He tightened his arms around my waist and

rested his chin on my shoulder. My heart was pounding like crazy. I could feel his hot breath on my

neck. I cleared the lump in my throat as my face heated up.

“So, where are we going next?” he asked.

“We're going to Monte Verde at the very end of the northern part of the magic realm.” he hummed.

“It will be a long way up there,” he said, and I smirked.

“Not when we have Darius with us. It will take just minutes to get there. So hold on,”

Before Azrael could answer, Darius flew at the fastest speed. Azrael gasped and tightened his hold

on my waist. I chuckled at his reaction. But I suddenly closed my eyes when a vision flashed in my

head. My forehead creased upon seeing two little boys and one of them is Luke. The other little boy

looked familiar, but I couldn't remember when I saw that boy. I almost gasped because their life is in

danger.

“Darius, please fly at your fastest speed.’

'On your command, master,’

In just a blink, Darius flew at the very fastest speed he could manage, like a flash. "Hang on there,

Luke. I'm coming to save you." I thought.

I silently cursed under my breath. How could I not notice that Luke wasn't with us this whole time?

Even Clinton and Allia were missing, too. Sabrina didn't even notice their absence. What happened

to that family?

However, the other little boy was really familiar. It's like I've seen him before.

"Alex, what's wrong? Darius flew like a monster chased us. And you look tense.”

I sigh. “Do you remember Luke? He was in danger now. We have to go there fast.”

“Luke? Clinton's son?”

"Yeah."

He curses under his breath. “We haven't noticed they were not with us this whole time. I feel

terrible.”

“It's too late. The least we could do right now is to save Luke and the other little boy. Clinton and

Allia must be worried sick.”

Suddenly, my body trembled as a wave of realization hit me. I have seen that vision before when I

first saw Luke. I was a little anxious about the other little boy's awakened power. It was too strong

and Luke couldn't handle the pressure because his full power wasn't awakened yet. I hope it's not

too late. I think the changes I made do not affect both children. Does this mean that the power

limitation did not affect the next generation? I think it's possible.

As we get near to the north, I can sense the immense pressure coming from Monte Verde. I tried

calling the orbs, and it responded. What surprised me was the presence of my white diamond. It

was calling out to me!

We landed in a small clearing at the entrance of the forest. Luke and the other little boy were inside

of this forest. What are they doing out here? How come they were not with everyone?

Darius growled towards the forest and then flew upward.

“This immense pressure is too strong,” Azrael uttered.

“Let's go! The kids are nearby,” I said, and we quickly entered the forest. Black smoke blocked our

sight. My eyes instantly glow brightly in the dark.

I grab Azrael's hands and run faster towards the middle of the forest, where I sense the kids and the

orbs.

“Luke!” I called the moment I saw him. Luke looked in my direction with tears in his eyes. His eyes

sparkle with hope. Then he looked at the cute little boy with fear. Black smoke surrounded the kid.

He was the source of the back smoke that covered the entire forest of Monte Verde.

“Big Sister!” Luke ran towards me, but he stumbled to the ground. His cries echoed, and I rushed to

get him when the little boy tried to attack Luke with his dark power.

"Azrael?" I called when he was out of my sight.

"Ah! Monster!” Luke screamed while looking above us, and I saw an enormous bat. I looked at the

other kid, but he's nowhere to be found. Illusion. We are under an illusion. This black smoke can

make us lost and wander in this forest filled with monsters.

"Hey, Luke. Listen to me. Please close your eyes and don't be afraid.” he nodded reluctantly while

quivering in fear.

I hope Azrael will find a way to free himself from the illusion. I hypnotized the bat, and it flew away.

Then I carried Luke, and he clung to me tightly. However, I felt the aura of the white diamond at

Luke. Don't tell me he has the white diamond?

“Luke, did you find the white diamond?” I ask.

He creased his forehead and his face lit up. “Yeah. How do you know?" I sighed in relief.

“I can feel it because it once belonged to me. Can you give it to me? It will help us get out of this

forest.”

“Really? Okay.” he quickly opened his palm, and it glowed. I stared at the white diamond in his palm

in awe and I took it. The moment the white diamond entered my body, I felt complete. I can feel my

infinite power again. It feels so good.

“Thank you, Luke.” he smiled.

“I'm so scared, big sister. Can you help Eros? He was fine earlier but when he took the black stone,

his eyes suddenly turned black and then attacked me.” Eros? Where did I hear his name before? And

he has the stone? Wait, the stone reacted to the kid? It must be the reason why his power was

awakened at a young age. “Don't worry, Luke. I will help him recover.” he nodded and hugged me

tightly.

Since I have my infinite power now, I easily nullified the illusion and found the kid staring at me

dangerously. But he was dangerously cute. The power of the orbs of death possessed him. Well, it's

possible for the orbs of death to possess a demon because the kid has a dark aura. He is a half-

demon, half-werewolf.

I remember him now. It's the two-year-old boy I saw at Stephen's mansion. He was the reason why

Damona came out before the moment I carried him

He was about to attack, but I avoided it and put Luke down. In just a snap of my fingers, I was now

holding Eros and putting him to sleep. The black smoke that covered the entire forest disappeared,

and I saw Azrael standing beside Luke. He carried Luke and walked towards us.

“How is the kid?" Azrael asked.

"He's fine. I put him to sleep. The orbs of death possessed him.” I said.

"What? Is it possible?”

“Yes. That's why we need to find the four orbs of death first before Yael does.” he nodded.

“But how did the kids go here?” his brows furrowed in confusion.

“When I woke up, I was here together with Eros,” Luke said while looking at Eros, who was sleeping

peacefully.

“Who is that kid, Alex?”

“It's Stephen's nephew,” he nodded.

I put my hands in Eros’ body to try taking the orbs of death. I sighed in relief when it showed up in

front of me. Without second thoughts, I took the orbs of death. Now I already found the two orbs of

death. I just hope my sisters already found the other orbs.

Looking at Azrael holding Luke and me holding Eros, my face flushed because we looked like a

family of four. Azrael smiled at me, and I think we have the same thoughts. I coughed and carried

Eros into my arms.

"We look like a family.” he blurted out and smiled widely. I blushed.

“Let's go. I can still sense the aura of the orbs around the forest.” he nodded and then we walked

together with the kids in our arms.

Five minutes later, we stopped beside a small lake. Down the water, I can feel the aura of the two

orbs. Azrael put Luke down and I handed Eros to him. “The orbs are in the water. I'll go get it.” he

nodded.

"Okay. Be careful.” I just nodded.

"Are you going to swim?" Luke asked.

I smiled at him. “Yes. I have to get something in the water, Luke. I'll be back shortly. Okay?” he

nodded.

I test the water first with my feet and it's too cold. I shivered. Damn. I heard Azrael chuckled. I

looked at him and stuck my tongue out. Luke giggled. I blew some air and endured the coldness of

the water and dived in. Deep under, I saw the two orbs glowing at the top of the red rock, which

was surrounded by colorful fishes. It looks so magical down there, as if the orbs brought them to

life. I notice a small hole right below the red rock. When I swim towards the orbs, it shines brightly

and I quickly take them. As I stare at the red rock, it amazes me when it changes color. It piqued my

curiosity, so I touched the rock when it turned blue. It looks like an egg!

The egg suddenly shook, and it shone brightly, which almost blinded me. As the light subsided, an

adorable baby water fox with blue fur appeared in front of me. My mouth hangs in awe. So cute! My

eyes twinkle and hold the baby water fox in my arms. I'm sure Luke will love this adorable creature. I

quickly go up to the surface with the baby water fox.

When I got out of the water, Azrael's eyes widened while looking at the cute little thing in my arms.

“What is that thing?” Luke asked with jaws dropped in awe.

I chuckled and dried myself first with the use of my power before walking closer towards them. “This

is a baby water fox, Luke. Do you want to carry him?”

“It won't bite me, right?”

I laughed and shook my head no. The baby water fox jumps happily into Luke's head, which

surprises us. We became silent and then burst out into laughter. The cute little thing wiggles his tails

ecstatically. Now, we found another friend.
