She stood there throwing me a disgusted look but I simply smirked and began looking into my laptop typing an email.

'You have not even looked at my reports Omkar!!!' I said and I didn't lift my head up yet smoothly said...

'Sorry???' she looked confused.

'Call me Ssir!!! Omkar Sir!!! I'm not your buddy Miss Joshi!!! I'm your boss...you are 'JUST' my employee!!!' finally meeting her angry red eyes. Her chest heaved angrily and blinked a multiple times looking here and there and finally asked...

'May I know what is the issue with my report Sir??? I haven't begun...I just put up the slides up there for you to review the progress but you simply reject it??? May I know the reason....Ssssir!!!' she stressed while I intently continued looking into her eyes by leaning back on my business chair and said...

'I don't review crumpled reports Miss Joshi!!! You don't bring me these shabby hardcopies!!! No when I'm your boss!!? No when I'm your CEO!!!' I spat and I saw her lips parted. She observed the crumpled reports and bit her lower lip like she was trying to hide something.

'I will get the fresh prints now!' she said while she came to my desk to pick the reports I banged my hand with a thud on the reports and shot a gaze saying...

'Its ok...It's late...We can go home...you can present the reports to me tomorrow morning!!!'

She still walked up to my desk sliding the printouts below my large palm and walked towards the shredding machine in my room and shredded them in one go without even passing me a look!!!

I probably upset her a lot. But I was annoyed too. No!!! I was pissed with her.

She would launch a harrasment case upon me for touching her but she can happily join those two idiots for a juice by that roadside??? Share sips from their glasses??? Really??? My anger resurfaced while I broke my plastic pen into two!

I could probably break their jaws too!!!

I was about to leave while I saw she was back with the new set of prints and banged on my table saying...

'I don't let today's incomplete work span tomorrow! Here!!!' she said and without giving me a chance began presenting the report.

My eyes however each time went back to how she tucked behind those few strands of stray hair behind her ears, how her lips moved and every time when she forgot something or didn't find the right words how she jumped like a little rabbit and used her hands in the air.

She was cute!!!

I didn't even realise when she finished her presentation. I wanted her to continue. I liked her voice. I like listening to her. I liked looking at her. I liked the fact that we were the only two people in this office right now ...no others to see, no others to listen!!!

'How is it?' she asked while I said...

'Average!!! You could still get more variety of shade loving plants for the cafeteria, I liked your idea of a vegetable garden but I don't really know what will we do by growing lady's finger and tomatoes in the garden!!! And I still don't understand that stupid fountain which is nothing but ugly and useless!!! Get something innovative and more practical back to my table Miss Joshi...' I spat standing up trying to shut down by laptop while she looked furious.

'You are doing this because of what I spat today morning to you right??? About the harrasment thing??? But I don't regret it!!! You are no one to touch me like that!!!' she said and this time I was irked.

This man was anything but sane!!!

He says Kalindi's 6 months planned report isn't good enough? I thanked god that Kalindi didn't present it to him. I was someone who began working on my very first day. Probably the one who didn't even finish her induction program. I mean I had HR's hounding me for providing them with my passport copy. Which I didn't have yet. They told me it's a mandatory submission to the company as part of my background verification process. I'm still to fix that shit up but here this giantwheel of a man is finding flaws in a report just because I presented it.

My anger was taking over and I wanted to give him a piece of his mind back!!! So I spat without a second thought...

'You are doing this because of what I spat today morning to you right??? About the harrasment thing??? But I don't regret it!!! You are no one to touch me like that!!!' while he shot me a death glare!

But I wasn't scared anymore!

But his action made me jump in my place as with two big steps he covered the distance between us and looked into my eyes and asked in a low growl..

'Say that again??' and I swallowed nervously as my eyes fell on his pink lips. It suddenly felt like the A.C is the room turned into a heater and I was sweating but I was not stepping back. My anger was at its peak today. He humiliated me, made me wait hungry and thirsty and now he rejects my team lead's hard work??? The hell I'm stepping back.

'You are no one to' and before I could complete the statement he slipped his big hand into my waist and in one go I was pulled closer to his face and a shiver ran down my spine

'Wife!!! Legally Officially Wedded Wife!!!' he said and my lips quivered as his hot breath fanned my lips...our mouths were a inch away from each other. His huge body was pressed into my small one...He had bent to my height...I was a foot shorter than him. My eyes widened at his announcement...

'Just because it's a secret...it's not nullified Mrs Nayak! You are still MY WIFE' he shouted into my face such that those two words sunk inside my soul leaving me shudder. He kept looking at my face and I felt his gaze lingering all over my face mostly on my lips.

'Then divorce me!' I said at once and his grip loosened on my waist. His eyes widened this time. He was shocked. My eyes filled with tears after I said those words. I didn't like those words but this relationship is meaningless. We were married out of our choices. We were a burden to each other.

Nothing more Nothing less!!!

'You seem to be too keen on a divorce now? What is it??? Or shall I ask who is it??? Sameer or your lift buddy...your savior Karthik?' he shouted low and crisp while I folded my hands against her chest and said...

'None of your business! And by the way who are you to ask me this? Weren't you the one with Miss Manisha 'Oh you look so gorgeous...Bye byeeee' till 8:30pm??? 2.5 hours of flirting with her and now you ask me about my relationship status?' I spat while this time he smirked asking..

'Shhhhh...did something burn there baby girl!!! Hmmmmm I smell Jealousy!!!' he said as his mouth was too close to my lips again.

I swear for a brief moment I really wanted to climb on that table stand up to reach his demonic height and kiss him senselessly! But next second I wanted to hold my horses! This man is sexy yet that doesn't make him any less of an asshole.

'Jealous my foot! I'm not the jealous husband like you are who bloody spies upon his wife! That's disgusting Omkar!' I said at once looking elsewhere...

This time he pulled me by my wrist and my chest dashed his broad ones while he bent down trying to again talk to me and said...

'Disgusting??? Really??? You were sharing your orange juice with Karthik and Sameer, tasting their glasses of pineapple and sweet lime juice and moaning on the middle of the road. Like seriously? You bloody don't do that with people you just met!!!'

This time I raised my eyebrows saying...

'Do you have a burnol babe?' and he narrowed asking 'Hmmm no why?' this time I smirked evil and said...

'Coz your ass is on fire!!! Treat it!!!' and before I could leave from there, he yanked my hand and pulled me closer while his big hand held my chin and he whispered hotly...

'You wanna see what else is on fire baby girl?' he asked and I felt a lump stuck in my throat. This time instead of the knots of my blouse I felt he was unveiling and tying back to knots in my stomach.

Before I could think more I felt his hot mouth on my earlobe and my whole body went numb...His lips grazed on my earlobe while both his hands slowly lifted me up via my waist and now my entire body was hanging loosely so my face stood tall infront of him and he didn't have to bend to my height...

His lips on my ear and slowly my cheek brushed and made my soul whimper against his actions...I was dying in his arms...

He whispered slowly...

'You will get all that you want Mrs Nayak. I will even give you a divorce like you wished for! But till then I don't want you messing around with those little piglets in this office! YOU ARE MY WIFE!

Secret No Secret! I don't give it a flying F*CK!!! Don't bring the Demon alive!' his lips were a torture on my earlobes...His palms squeezing my waist were adding on...I breathed roughly but I also wanted him to know...

If he is a f*cking Demon!

Then I'm that Demon's Secret Wife!!!

I lifted my gaze up to meet his and our faces were too close and our noses touched.

'I behave if you behave! I don't want you messing around with other women here, outside, anywhere! Get it Mr Demon?' I asked and he smirked saying...

'Aye Aye Baby girl!!!' we stayed like that for a brief moment until he whispered...

'Lets go home' and I said 'I will call the cab department requesting an ad-hoc...I'm running late than usual' I whispered while he slowly put me down as my feet touched the ground and I took a step back while he stood there tall and said ...

'Its the same home Mukta...I will drop you home!'.

His eyes had a serenity and I couldn't deny.

Drive back home was silent. None of us spoke. There was too much of confrontation that happened between us. It was overwhelming. Just when we reached home and I wished him 'Goodnight' and was about to leave he whispered...

'Mukta...I know it maybe complex...our marriage isn't normal...we want to get rid of it...it would happen...I will never keep you forced or caged with me ..but please...till then...don't mess up with my mind! We started it smooth. Let's end it smooth!' he said it without even looking at my face.

Ending it with him!!! That hurt me!!!

Why? I don't know!

But I also wanted everything smooth with him. I loved the smiling Omkar. The one who cracked jokes throughout our journey from Phulvaspura to Mangalore. I also didn't want this to complicate. But there was an undeniable pull between us. It was getting complicated without even attempting to. I didn't want it to be even more messed up.

'Aye Aye Demon' I said at once and this time there was a genuine smil on his lips which calmed my soul. He looked at me and whispered...

'Now it's a goodnight Mukta!' and I smiled back.
