Baby Boy

King Mafia and Mago

Baby Boy

Jana was ecstatic, it would be an understatement. The man was on cloud nine after earning a chance of love in his disruptive life and that too after several heartbreaking betrayals, things didn't seem to go any better than this. Mickey, the boy Jana had felt attracted to for a long while had finally decided to clear off the foggy, cold upfront of his demeanour he supported the older and opened his heart for a new beginning.

After that eventful night, Jana had started to dream about his future with firmer ground and with more creativity. Feeling the luxury of being able to think without building pressure at the back of his mind, the man was able to anticipate stability, a beautiful, powerful future and a love life he always wanted.....with none other than the boy he was brewing true feelings for.

But that had to start with some traditional effort such as a classic old date.

So began a venture for the preparation of a fine most date Jana ever had to work on. He had saved up a sum of money after rescheduling his other errands for some other time just so he could make everything perfect. And so, from selecting a perfect place for wine and dining to the decisions of how to romantically end the night, Jana arranged everything he could offer to his official lover genuinely.

Meanwhile, Mickey was excited and nervous for the night all at the same time. The boy was ready and waiting but deep in his belly were thousands of butterflies dancing and fluttering at the thought of sharing such an intimate moment with the older. The date, when discussed in the bed while staring at the ceiling, seemed pretty harmless, it seemed more of a fun dinner than anything but when Jana texted Mickey to get ready so he could pick him up after his shift, the boy felt the reality of the situation kicking in.

Of course, he got ready all beautiful and attractive, pulling on a mask of an uninterested bitch, but at the same time, Mickey was jittery under the spell of the unpredictable night. A long gossip with Mago took most of his stress, the younger's bubbly giggles and his sharp mouth had affected Mickey in a positive way while the boys discussed some major points of a standard date.

It was fun until it lasted, still unable to suffice the restlessness.

The calmness had started to set soon in his heart though, after Jana arrived at the parking lot of the building and welcomed Mickey with a charming, shy smile of his own, the boy felt at ease as he climbed the rear of older's bike. Holding Jana around his waist made him shiver slightly but he didn't let his expression change instead, Jana tried to play cool. He hid his anxiousness under a smirk as he revved his bike coolly while Mickey rolled his eyes sassily to do the same.

It was evident how both the boys were on edge, how they were shy with each other all of a sudden and were thinking almost the same about the night.....but none of them dared to counter their unease.

Well.....if that's the case then....it's gonna be a long night.

The restaurant selected was not top notch but a decent place with a rooftop seating arrangement for special arrangements, it was nice and cute, a little secluded in a sense of crowd nevertheless a great place under budget. The weather added to the charm of the night as well, a blissful breeze that wasn't harsh but enough to anticipate rain soon.

Mickey was impressed by the effort but he pretended not to, looking around the place curiously while being held by a handsome man by his side, the boy collected memories to remember in the near future as he tried not to slip a smile of appreciation.

But the act seemed impossible to hold when Jana pulled a sorcery named Chivalry as he slid out a chair for younger and helped him like the good gentleman he was. Keeping the composure, Jana also served Mickey a glass of wine, before filling one for himself, as he also took a seat in front of his date and grinned ear to ear while he stared at the younger fondly.

It was ridiculous, the way Jana giddily watched him, but still it made Mickey wonder how serious Jana was behaving and how much their meet-up meant for Jana.

"Are you liking it so far Mickey? If anything.....you can tell me right away" the older offered with a wide smile making the other hide behind his glass as he drank, he watched Mickey fumbling to find words and it made Jana happy to see a pinkish hue covering Mickey's cheeks.

"I am fine but I think you are not" the boy sassed with a challenging raise of brow, he was playful in his tone but a frown didn't wait to make its way over Jana's forehead in a second. The older creased his brows and nudged his chin up in a way to ask what Mickey meant by that.

"I mean, why the fuck do you seem so happy? We have been through this boyfriend shit right? So why so giddy?" Mickey asked friskily, his brows still in his bangs, as he pulled his cheeks in so he wouldn't smile. On the other hand, relief spread on Jana's face and he looked away from the younger, trying to hide the blush that crept on his neck.

"You won't get it silly Mickey.....it's official now. We, you and me, are boyfriends now" Jana explained, he announced the title of their relationship, emphasizing the word 'boyfriends' as he said. The younger only stared in response, unaware of what hid behind the excitement but adamant to know.

"So what?..." Mickey scoff-laughed "It's not like we are fucking married or something" the boy pointed out narrowly and Jana smiled at him lovingly.

"That will come soon....but that's not what is making me happy" he answered truthfully, Mickey noticed how Jana gestured at someone behind him before locking eyes again. It was kind of irking since Mickey's sceptical nature, plus given his profession.

"Then what the fuck is it?" the boy perked straightening up on his seat, he tapped his fingers impatiently on the table waiting for the answer but instead of that, a set of servers appeared at the table and, after a quick bow, started to serve the food Jana had pre-ordered when he prepared other things.

Mickey watched as several mouth-watering cuisines were lined up in front of him for him to savour and lifted up his dark gaze towards Jana, but to his surprise, the older was already attentive and was looking at Mickey.

"I am happy because....I get to call you baby whenever I want..." Jana whispered softly, he reached forward and started to assemble a plate for his lover easily while he talked his heart out "I get to kiss you whenever I want......I get to spoil you with your favourite food and drinks and I get to experience many other things with you. And believe it or not Mickey....that is all I want" he placed the well-collected platter in front of Mickey just as he finished and the other couldn't help the smile that adorned his beautiful features.

"You know more than anyone Mickey.....I was so lost under my dad's influence. Knowing what love between two people can bring is foreign to me, but after living with you.....all of that has changed." Jana stated warmly, dark eyes held emotions so transparent that the younger had no choice but to take them into consideration.

Smiling, Mickey lowered his gaze while the older kept on spilling his heart out.

It was their date night after all....what would one expect other than to get to know the feelings of the other.

"Taking part in the household that two people shared, learning to be responsible for my actions and then adding value to my life, I have gained several meanings of life and that's all because of you" Jana whispered the last part and Mickey caught it with a smile, he looked away in the distance so his coyness to the confession won't discourage the other or worse.....make Jana conscious.

Either way, Jana was conscious of his words and he was scared as well for what he was about to say.

"I don't know when I fell for you Mickey or what I fell for in you......your food, your nagging or just you, but the thing I know is that I can't imagine my life without you in it. It is just miserable" the older sighed as he said and breathed in as if done a task harder than taking a bullet, he looked at the boy in front of him playing with his food and half smiled discerning the fact that Mickey was indeed nervous and tad bit shy by his words.

"Well....."Jana pressed, waiting for a reply, as he peeked at the other playfully.

"You sound like a fucking cheese bread Jana" Mickey muttered under his breath making Jana spurt out a chuckle, the latter was pretty sure about the response he got and that is why he laughed. Mickey was nearly predictable for Jana after they had lived together for a while now and while the older was proud and happy, he was also lucky.

"It's true" Jana whine-laughed while he picked at the olive on his plate and Mickey smiled.

"I know..." he said softly "When you first moved in, you were like a fucking brat that I hated from my guts. But now, it's different....you are different. A different that I like" Mickey confided his true feelings and enjoyed the way Jana reciprocated the smile adorning his lips. The man looked extra handsome under the effect of efforts he had put on for the night, Mickey noted the fact that he liked the older more when he smiled boyishly and rubbed at the back of his head sheepishly.

"I love you Mickey..... I love you so fucking much. For me, there won't be anyone other than you in my fucked up life and I promise to make it worth your while." The older reached forward and held both of Mickey's hands in his, he smiled brightly and the other did the same "And although I can't give you any riches or luxury let alone a decent human being as a partner......but a broken me is full of love reserved for you" Jana delivered and just like that he was relieved of any stress that engulfed him earlier before even the night even started.

"That's fucking cute Jana, and I will learn to love you too. Just be patient and keep working on yourself.... We have a lot to go through together" Mickey responded passionately, he smiled as he squeezed Jana's hands together, promising him something unsaid that only the older could get.

Afterwards that immensely emotional confession, both of them began enjoying their dinner. Jana helped Mickey with his food and drink while the younger enjoyed the princess treatment to its fullest. But amid their cute date night, Mickey's phone rang causing him to pause laughing at something Jana had said and pick the call with a frown. On the screen flashed 'Mago's Lucy' proving it to be some kind of urgency and upon receiving the call, that's what Mickey got.

"What?!" he stood up quickly, the phone still in hand, while Jana watched Mickey with wide curious eyes.

........

Rain had eventually started, a silent drizzle which had turned into a full fledge thunderous shower enveloped everything around in the city and created the atmosphere like in a horror movie. The loud swishing wind swung the trees while it also hooted a melody that would send shivers down the spine, However, all of that wasn't enough to stop the crime lord on his way.

A car pulled up in front of the hospital entrance with a loud screech, king rushed out the door without another second and entered the building with Charlton hot on his heels. The corridors were nearly deserted at this hour but that didn't matter since a bunch of attendants were ready to serve king as soon as he was in sight.

"Second floor king, room number 12-2B" a male nurse heaved out with difficulty as he lowered his eyes not wanting to see a totally edgy and fearful crime lord. The look on King's face was the reason enough, he looked like he could suck a soul out of a human if touched wrong and so everybody wanted to steer clear of his way.

Anyway, the said crime lord didn't wait to acknowledge the information he received, he marched towards the elevator with thudding steps until he was inside and he had a moment to breathe. Charlton stood behind King, he looked alarmed but a silly smile somehow made its way over his face making him turn his face away.

"Mickey is informed, Charlton?" King asked with a sigh, he glanced at his watch and cursed under his breath.

"He is already here king, along with Jana." The right-hand man answered while trying his best to compose his leaking laugh.

"Are we really the last ones to reach?" the crime lord glared at Charlton, aware that he was being bullied in a sense of his untimely circumstances......otherwise, nobody would dare.

Trust me!

"Unfortunately King" Charlton snickered silently, earning another glare, and before he could get a piece of King's mind, the door of the elevator opened to a vacant hallway. Charlton led the way, he literally jogged to the designated room while King followed with a wildly beating heart until they both spotted Lucca waiting for them outside the room.

"What happened?" Is he okay?" King demanded with a frown etched to his darkening features, the man looked like he could kill at the moment but his threatening demeanour only added a charm to the situation. Lucca smiled at King as soon as their eyes met, he bowed in respect before he straightened up supporting an impish look on his face.

"He is fine king, just sleeping for now. Mr Xavier, Mickey and Jana are inside with our majesty" Lucca delivered truthfully, he enjoyed the look of relief that crossed over the king's features and smiled once again but then King frowned again.

"And what about the baby?" he asked again making Charlton perk as well as he stepped up to get closer.

"All I could get is that it's a boy king. Garnie kicked me out saying I could see him later with you" Lucca explained his misery but all King got was the title of the miracle he was blessed with. The baby, he and Mago, made out of their undying love for each other was a boy, a tiny, soft, pinkish-pale creature that was theirs to be called and theirs to be loved.

The Xavier's heir was finally here.

"Let's go" he said and twisted the handle of the door, the door opened and all eyes in the room turned to face King and his both men behind him. The one who king missed the most, a pair of doe complaining eyes that must be filled with unshed tears and lots and lots of unsaid profanities, were closed.

Mago was asleep, the fragile boy was attached to the tubes and whatnot and he was serene on the bed breathing softly while Mickey and Jana sat along his sides. King watched in awe as he readied himself to approach his beautiful lover on the bed but a deep voice from the other corner of the room caught him mid-act and made him turn his face sideways.

"Where have you been son?" Mr Xavier asked in his deep voice, he looked nonchalant when he asked, almost offended, but if observed closely, the old man was at peace. And why wouldn't he be, the reason for his mental peace was in his arms, close to his chest, a bundle of joy wrapped in the fluffiest blanket in existence while he rocked him back and forth.

And that's when King's axe stopped as he looked at the baby in his father's arms
