after our little moment we had a handstand competition and decided to go back to our towels.

"come on it's pretty obvious that i won at that" trevor stated as we were swimming back to shore. this made me giggle. he so didn't.

"oh yeah for sure" i replied nodding my head. as we were walking out of the sea, trevor stopped me.

"wait there for a minute" he said before running ahead and grabbing his phone. he jogged back and made me pose for a picture, with my arms up in the air, and then another of us together. "aww you look so cute in that one" he said widely, making his eyes almost close.

"thank you" i said looking up, expecting to see him there, but he wasn't. he had ran back again to our towels and grabbed mine for me. "thanks" i said pecking his lips on my tip toes. he wrapped the towel around me and we sat down and leant against each other for warmth. he picked up his phone and opened spotify. the 1 started to play by taylor swift. he put down his phone and layed his arm around my shoulders.

he didn't speak during the song. and neither did i. once it had finished he turned to me and said, "we should go it's starting to get dark. don't wanna be getting anymore mosquito bites" tracing his fingers over the bites i had gotten. i smiled back and agreed, getting up and sliding my sliders back on.

we walked back to the hotel side by side holding hands. we walked through the lobby smiling at people at the desk ad pressing the lift button.

i shut the door silently behind me. was sherri still awake? none of the lights were on. only the bathroom light. i walked over to our beds and saw that she was fast asleep, snoring. classic.

suddenly she jolted awake. i screamed.

"oh my gosh don't do that to me sherri" i whisper shouted, not wanting the people next door to be woken up. it was like she rose from the dead. she got out of the blanket and dragged me into her bed.

"so what happened?" i sighed, smiling at the thought of my night.

"we kissed" i said. this made her gasp dramatically. "shhh ri calm down will you"

"was he a good kisser-"

"sherri come on-" i laughed.

"well was he?" she eagerly pestered.

"yeah" this made us both giggle like school girls.

i checked the time and realised it was 12:30. i changed into my pyjamas, which were a thin vest and shorts and laid on top of my duvet. i carried on explaining what had happened and showed her the pictures we took. which she 'awed'.

eoy exams start in 2 weeks but next week is half term so yayy
