yes to heaven - trevor zegras
trevor's pov
"dude what are we gonna do?" jamie asked pacing up and down our hallway.
"i don't know" i replied running my fingers through my hair.
"why don't we just knock on people's doors, asking if they've seen a key card laying around?" that is the stupidest idea ever.
"that's the stupidest idea ever, all the cards look the same"
"you never know they could have something on the back of them saying which room they are" he's going mad.
"alright fine we'll do that" i said just to shut him up.
"what floor of we start at?"
"top" jamie said already stalking towards the elevator.
we had gotten to the top floor and already had tried the first five rooms there, but there was no sign of a card.
"c'mon man let's just go to the next floor down" iaid.
"nah one more i can feel that these people will have it" he had said that after every door we knocked on.
we turned the corner and knocked on the next door in sight, 207. after a couple of seconds the girl with the sunglasses opened the door. i stood in awe.

dotty's pov
the boy from dinner stood still, staring at me. his friend next to him. i smiled at them.
"can i help you?" i questioned, trying not to sound rude.
"ummm" was all that he could get out.
"dot, whose at the door?" shouted ri, her voice becoming louder, as she had moved from her position on her bed and walled to where i was stood.
"oh, hi, is there a problem?" she asked holding the door. the other boy now staring at her in awe.
"uh-" he clears his throat.
"have you seen a key card, just you know, um, laying around?" oh my days he's american.
"no, sorry we haven't" i replied, offering him a smile.
"oh okay, uhh, it's just that me and my friend here-"
"jamie"
"yeah me and my friend jamie have lost our key card and we're going somebody had picked it up"
"oh shit sorry, we'll try to look out for it though" sherri sounded apologetically.
"okay, cool, thanks see you around" said the lighter haired boy, making direct eye contact with me. i gave him a sweet smile as i waved bye to them. sherri closed the door and have me the look.
"that was them" she gave me a shit eating grin. "we need to go back to them and tell them they can stay here!" she whispered as if they were right next to us, reaching for the door handle.
"do NOT do that. we need to be more mysterious about it" she smirked and nodded her head. i walked back over to my bed and laid on my stomach, my elbows keeping me up.
"they were american" i said.
"stop, i know. we should be seen that coming though. they do NOT look british" she giggled along with me. "what are we going to do about them then?"
"i dunno, only time will tell i guess" i sighed daydreaming.
"ugh weirdo. i'll come up with something if you won't" sherri snatched my pringles and headed towards the balcony.
after a couple of hours, i heard a gasp come from ri.
"oh my gosh" she breathed, her mouth wide open as she appeared next to me.
"what? WHAT?"
"i've found their insta pages!"
"no way! no way" i squealed. "give me their users will ya"
"okay so your boy is called trevor zegras, ew that's such an icky name" i lightly slapped the back of her head.
"oi!"
"okay and then my one is called jamie drysdale. ugh i love that name" i clicked onto the first account that came up when i searched 'trevor zegras'. he had the blue tick next to his name. i scrolled through his posts and made sure that it was him.
"no way" i whispered to myself.
"what?"
"look" i said pointing to one of his posts, which was a picture of his with a big jersey on. "and look" i said again, pointing out the blue tick. "i'm not gonna follow him" i said.
"what? why not?" ri whines.
"because like i said, we need to be mysterious and not look like we're desperate."
"but i am desperate" i let out the biggest sigh ever.
"fake it till you make it ri. fake it till you make it." i said patting her shoulder.
