The moment the formation shattered, the realm itself seemed to hold its breath. The two flames at the center of the lakeâone blazing yellow like the heart of the sun, the other a cold, ethereal blue like the essence of the moonâpulsed with an intensity that made the air vibrate. Waves of heat and cold radiated outward, creating a surreal battlefield where ice and fire coexisted in a chaotic dance.
Jiang Feng and Ji Moran moved swiftly, their movements synchronized as they navigated the treacherous terrain. The ground beneath them was a patchwork of frozen earth and scorched rock, the remnants of the formation's destruction. Around them, the other cultivators were already clashing, their techniques lighting up the area with bursts of elemental energy.
---
Jiang Feng's eyes were fixed on the two flames, their light calling to him like a siren's song. He could feel their power even from a distance, a primal force that resonated with his Skyforge Flame. The yellow flame radiated an overwhelming heat, while the blue flame exuded a chilling cold that seemed to freeze the very air around it. Both were treasures beyond measure, and Jiang Feng knew he couldn't afford to let them fall into the hands of others.
"We need to move fast" Ji Moran said, her voice tense. "The others won't hold back."
Jiang Feng nodded, his grip tightening on the Celestial Dagger. "Stay close. We'll cut through anyone who gets in our way.
Before they could reach the lake, a group of cultivators from Mist Ridge City intercepted them. The leader, a tall woman with flowing blue robes, raised her hand, and a wall of water surged upward, blocking their path. "You're not going anywhere, killing cultivators from Mists Ridge City is a taboo!," she said, her voice calm but firm. She had seen how Jiang Feng had killed one of their own in cold blood!
Jiang Feng didn't waste time arguing. With a flick of his wrist, he sent the Celestial Dagger hurtling toward the water wall. The blade cut through the barrier with ease, its weight and sharp edge dispersing the water into a fine mist. Ji Moran followed up with a swift strike of her sword, forcing the Mist Ridge cultivators to retreat.
"Keep moving!" Jiang Feng shouted, summoning the dagger back to his hand, those seven strikes to shatter the formation took most of his spiritual energy so he did his best to recover with the abundance of spiritual energy in the atmosphere thus he needed Ji Moran to pitch in every now and then.
The battlefield was a chaotic storm of clashing elements and desperate cultivators. Jiang Feng and Ji Moran moved cautiously, avoiding the larger skirmishes while keeping their eyes on the two flames glowing at the center of the lake. Around them, cultivators from various cities had formed temporary alliances, their combined skills making them formidable opponents.

Jiang Feng and Ji Moran moved cautiously, avoiding the larger skirmishes while keeping their eyes on the two flames glowing at the center of the lake. Around them, cultivators from various cities had formed temporary alliances, their combined skills making them formidable opponents.
Zhen Ruyi of Northern Moon City and Lan Xue of Azure Spirit Hall were a deadly pair. Zhen Ruyi's poison talismans released a noxious green cloud that disoriented their enemies, while Lan Xue's Thousand Hand Flame Seed lashed out like a fiery whip, forcing cultivators to retreat or risk being burned alive. Their teamwork was seamless, and they carved a path through the chaos with ruthless efficiency.
On the other side of the battlefield, Zhao Tian of Crimson Sky Pavilion was a one-man army. His massive frame and thunder-based techniques made him a force to be reckoned with. He clashed with a group from Obsidian Lake City, his fists crackling with electricity as he sent them flying. "Is this all you've got?" he roared, his voice booming over the din of battle. "Pathetic!"
Jiang Feng glanced at Ji Moran. "We need to move quickly. The longer we wait, the more crowded it'll get."
Ji Moran nodded, her grip tightening on her sword. "Stay close. I'll cover you." Jiang Feng shouted as they ran towards the shore
By the time they reached the edge of the lake, Jiang Feng's body ached from the constant fighting as he was now covered in blood. His robes were torn, and a shallow cut on his arm dripped blood, but he ignored the pain. The two flames were within sight now, their light casting an eerie glow across the water. But between them and the flames stood a group of cultivators from Silver Sword City, their blades gleaming like shards of moonlight.
"You're not getting past us, I suggest you leave that area at once" their leader, a tall man with a scar running down his cheek, said coldly. He raised his sword, and the others followed suit, their movements precise and coordinated. The young man was know as Shen Long, the Dragon Sword and was next in line for the top three.
Jiang Feng's eyes narrowed. He didn't have time for this. With a roar, he activated his Skyforge Flame, the blue inferno surging to life around him. The heat was intense, but it was nothing compared to the flames in the lake. He hurled the Celestial Dagger at the leader, the blade cutting through the air with a low hum.
The leader deflected the dagger with his sword, but the force of the impact sent him stumbling backward. Jiang Feng was shock to see someone deflecting his dagger, Ji Moran took advantage of the opening, her sword flashing as she engaged the other cultivators. Her movements were fluid leaving icy shards everywhere she went, but it was clear she was outnumbered.
---
One of the Silver Sword cultivators, a woman with a braid coiled like a serpent, lunged at Ji Moran with a flurry of strikes. Ji Moran parried the first few blows, but the woman's speed was overwhelming. A slash caught Ji Moran across the shoulder, and she cried out in pain, stumbling backward.
"Ji Moran!" Jiang Feng shouted, his heart lurching. He summoned the Celestial Dagger back to his hand and charged toward her, but another cultivator intercepted him, forcing him to defend himself.
Ji Moran gritted her teeth, clutching her wounded shoulder. "I'm not done yet," she muttered, her eyes blazing with determination. She activated her **Frost Lotus Technique**, a defensive move that created a barrier of icy petals around her. The woman with the braid hesitated, her sword bouncing off the barrier causing her hand to go numb momentarily.
Taking advantage of the momentary reprieve, Ji Moran lunged forward, her sword pressed on like a sharp cutting blade, piercing the woman's side. The cultivator gasped in disbelief, collapsing to the ground dead, icy shards forming all over her body and inside her gut. Ji Moran didn't have time to celebrateâanother enemy was already upon her.
Jiang Feng finally broke free from his opponent, his Skyforge Flame roaring to life as he unleashed a wave of blue fire that formed into three large vortexes. The remaining Silver Sword cultivators were forced to retreat, their robes singed and their confidence shaken, one vortex pulled at their bodies while a next spilled flame nonstop. The last vortex came crashing down like a mountain forcing Shen Long to defend.
He rushed to Ji Moran's side, his eyes scanning her injuries. "You're hurt," he said, his voice tight with concern.
"I'll live," she replied, wincing as she adjusted her grip on her sword. "We need to keep moving."
Jiang Feng nodded, but his jaw was clenched. "Stay behind me, don't activate your Ember Armor just yet, those from the Shadow Church are nearby" he said. "I'll clear the way."
The two of them charged toward the stone platforms where the flames rested, their determination unwavering. Around them, the battlefield was a cacophony of clashing weapons and roaring techniques. Zhen Ruyi and Lan Xue were still fighting, their alliance holding strong. Zhao Tian was locked in a brutal duel with a cultivator from Obsidian Lake City, their attacks shaking the ground.
"How will we cross the lake" Ji Moran arrived at the edge the lake, up until this point they hadn't thought about that one crucial thing.
"I'll handle that part, I'll take care of these flies first" Jiang Feng's anger finally exploded as he turned the face the on coming cultivators
There were only two flame seeds. Ji Moran had found this place first, so she should rightfully claim one of the treasures. Jiang Feng also needed one for himself. The realm wasn't a first-come, first-served kind of placeâit was one where strength did the serving. Jiang Feng popped five Spiritual Burst Pills into his mouth, the bitter taste flooding his senses as the pills dissolved on his tongue. Ji Moran had given him these pills because they had planned ahead of time that Jiang Feng would go wild at the right moment.
He would first hide his true strength until they were in the clearing to get to the flame seeds. At that time, Ji Moran would activate her armor to protect herself while he was locked in battle. "Now!" Jiang Feng shouted, his voice cutting through the tension like a blade. Ji Moran instantly activated her Ember Armor, the intricate plates of glowing metal snapping into place around her body with a series of sharp clicks. The armor hummed with energy, its surface shimmering like molten lava as it boosted her defenses.
She looked like a knight who could take on the world, her sword raised in a defensive stance as she prepared to stop anyone who got past Jiang Feng. Her eyes narrowed, scanning the clearing for threats. The air was thick with the scent of burning wood and the metallic tang of impending violence. "This is it!" she thought, her heart pounding in her chest. The flame seeds glowed faintly in the distance, their light pulsing like a heartbeat.
The five Spiritual Burst Pills entered Jiang Feng's stomach, where they met the devouring diagram etched into his core. The diagram flared to life, a swirling vortex of energy that instantly devoured the pills without leaving any residue. Jiang Feng's blood boiled, his veins burning with raw power. He was so excited to see such a massive chaotic battle that he couldn't wait to enter the fray. If it wasn't for their initial plan, he would have let loose long ago.
"Haha, this is so much fun!" Jiang Feng shouted, his voice echoing through the clearing. He didn't know if it was his eternal bloodline, which sought to dominate, or the draconic bloodline, which sought to devour everything, but he had an overwhelming urge to fight, fight, fight!!!! His body trembled with anticipation, his muscles coiling like springs ready to snap.
Opening his arms wide, black dragon scales shimmered into existence all over his body, their obsidian sheen reflecting the flickering light of the flame seeds. The scales boosted his defenses and strength to a shocking degree, making him nearly impervious to attacks. Behind his back, three flame vortexes twisted furiously, their fiery tendrils lashing out like whips before joining to form one massive vortex that floated above his head. The vortex roared like a living beast, its heat distorting the air around it.
"I will step across the bodies of thousands!" Jiang Feng declared, his voice a thunderous roar that shook the ground beneath his feet. His eyes glowed with a feral light, and his grin was wild, almost manic. He was no longer just a cultivatorâhe was a force of nature, a storm given form.
The first wave of attackers surged forward, their weapons gleaming in the dim light. Jiang Feng met them head-on, his movements a blur of black scales and fiery destruction. His fists struck with the force of a collapsing mountain, sending bodies flying in every direction.
"Dawn Breaker!" The first form of the Three Sun Fist was executed at full force.
The flame vortex above him lashed out, devouring the attacks of his enemies and spitting them back as searing projectiles. The clearing became a battlefield of fire and shadow, with Jiang Feng at its center, unstoppable and unrelenting.
Shen Long came chopping out with his sword, sword Qi descending like blades from hell, but Jiang Feng's blazing fist caused the air to twist as he sent a punch flying out to meet the sword and sword Qi. Sparks flew from his scales, the air hummed and exploded, but the force only sent Shen Long Flying while Jiang Feng's Earth Meridian flared rooting his physical body to the ground.
Blue flames surged liked a sea, rushing towards the crowd, Jiang Feng raised his hand and pulled, causing the massive vortex above his head to compress into a glowing orb of blue light.
Ji Moran watched from her position, her sword steady and her Ember Armor glowing brightly, her eyes shining as she watch the straight back that made her blood boil. She knew her role: protect the flame seeds and ensure Jiang Feng's rampage didn't leave them vulnerable. Her eyes darted across the battlefield, calculating every move, every threat. She was the calm to his storm, the anchor that kept their plan from unraveling.
But even as Jiang Feng dominated the battlefield, she couldn't shake the feeling that this was only the beginning. The flame seeds pulsed in the distance, their light growing brighter with every passing moment, as if calling out to them. The real battle, she knew, was yet to come.
The orb exploded with a deafening roar, sending shockwaves rippling through the air. In an instant, a massive dome of blue flames erupted, stretching 50 meters in every direction and sealing everyone inside its fiery embrace. The dome was a breathtaking yet terrifying sightâits walls shimmered like liquid sapphire, swirling with intricate patterns of flame that danced and writhed as if alive. The heat within the domain was immense, warping the air and making it difficult to breathe. The ground beneath the dome cracked and blackened, the grass and dirt turning to ash in seconds.
The blue flames were unlike any ordinary fire. They burned with an otherworldly intensity, their light casting an eerie glow that painted everything in shades of azure and shadow. The flames seemed to pulse with a life of their own, rising and falling in rhythm like the heartbeat of some ancient, primordial beast. Wisps of fire curled and twisted upward, forming shapes that resembled dragons, phoenixes, and other mythical creatures before dissolving back into the inferno.
The impact of the domain was immediate and devastating. Cultivators caught within its boundaries screamed as the flames licked at their defenses, their protective barriers crumbling under the relentless heat. The air itself seemed to burn, searing lungs and choking throats. Even those who managed to shield themselves from the flames felt the oppressive weight of the domain's energy, a suffocating pressure that sapped their strength and slowed their movements.
Jiang Feng stood at the center of the dome, his black dragon scales glistening under the blue light. He then raised his hand to form a vortex, the flame vortex above his head merged seamlessly with the domain, amplifying its power and making him the undisputed ruler of this fiery prison. His eyes glowed with a fierce light as he surveyed the chaos around him, a predator reveling in the hunt.
Ji Moran, shielded by her Ember Armor, felt the heat but remained unharmed. Her armor's glow intensified, its molten patterns shifting and flowing to counteract the domain's oppressive energy. She tightened her grip on her sword, her eyes scanning the dome for any threats that might slip through Jiang Feng's rampage. The flame seeds, now bathed in the blue light of the domain, pulsed even brighter, their energy resonating with the flames around them.
The Skyforge Zone, Flame Domain was more than just a barrierâit was a declaration of dominance. Within its walls, Jiang Feng was unstoppable, his power magnified to terrifying levels. The blue flames obeyed his will, surging toward his enemies and retreating at his command. The domain was a testament to his Eternal bloodline, a manifestation of his unyielding desire to conquer and devour.
As the dome continued to burn, the battlefield transformed into a hellscape of fire and desperation. The cultivators trapped inside scrambled to survive, their cries drowned out by the roar of the flames. Jiang Feng's laughter echoed through the dome, a sound both triumphant and merciless. This was his domain, his battlefield, and he would not rest until every challenger lay broken at his feet even those from the Celestial Shadow Church would die.
In the deeper parts of the lake four large eyes opened like lanterns!!
