Wait, She’s a Billionaire ( Sheena Lawson )
Chapter 20
Sheena heard the voice and frowned instinctively. As she turned around, she locked eyes with Elijah. He was only inches away from her.
âThis is Angleâs underground car park. What brings you here, Mr. Freeman?â
Elijah smirked. âIâm here to talk to Mr. Lawson about a potential collaboration. Whatâs wrong? Is there a rule that says I canât be here?â
Sheena chuckled.
What a ridiculous reason!
âThe Freeman Group focuses on real estate and construction, which has nothing to do with the entertainment industry. Are you here to have our companyâs artists sell houses?â Sheena said, locking eyes with him. Her gaze was filled with sarcasm and unwavering confidence. Elijah was stunned by her piercing gaze, but his expression turned cold as he pushed her shoulders back until her back was pressed against the car door, completely enclosed in his
arms.
âWhat are you doing?â Sheenaâs thighs were pressed by his knees, leaving her unable to move. This position felt awkward.
Struggling to free herself, Sheena glared at him fiercely. âElijah, are you out of your mind?â His intense gaze fixed on her as if she was an unruly prey.
âWhatâs the meaning of this new car? Are you happy just because you have Howard to support you?â
Sheena was confused and wondered why Elijah was looking down at her car.
âYou divorced me for him, but it seems heâs not treating you as well as I imagined,â Elijah mocked.
What on earth was he talking about?
Did he come running here, assuming she divorced him to be with Howard?
It was ridiculous!
Sheena replied, âMr. Freeman, youâve got it all wrong. We divorced because you didnât love me, and I was tired of giving without getting anything in return. It has nothing to do with anyone else.â
Then, to provoke Elijah, she added, âMr. Lawson is indeed amazing! He has a better temperament, heâs more capable, and heâs even betterâlooking than you! You can never compare to him!â
Elijahâs anger surged, and he forcefully raised Sheenaâs chin, remembering that he made similar sarcastic remarks before.
âAre you trying to provoke me? Do you want me to teach you a lesson right here?â
Sheena was furious!
ã¢
She was his exâwife. Whatever between them was over! Her life had nothing to do with him anymore!
How did this jerk have the audacity to get angry and threaten her?
âElijah, get your hands off me!â
Elijah remained unmoved.
Sheena could not contain her anger any longer.
Since he would not listen to reason, she had to resort to a different approach!
She quickly attempted to take him down, but Elijahâs speed was surprisingly faster than hers!
In an instant, Elijah caught both of her hands with one hand and lifted them above her head, firmly pressing them against the carâs roof.
His strength was far superior to hers, making it impossible for her to break free. âElijah!â
Sheena was livid, her face turning red.
Elijah smirked. He seemed to enjoy seeing her frustrated and powerless. In her fury, Sheenaâs expression resembled that of a fierce lioness. Her eyes still showed determination and clarity as she bit her red lips in defiance, exuding an alluring aura.
Elijah could not help but recall that night when he was drugged. In a moment of delirium, he saw her eyes, so similar to the young Jennifer from years ago.
At that moment, he was completely captivated.
Looking back, he found that night to be especially beautiful. However, his thoughts were interrupted by a surge of inexplicable rage.
Sheena keenly felt his body tense against hers. A certain part of his body was pressing hard against her abdomen.
âElijah, you pervert! Let me go or Iâll drag you to hell with me!â Sheena yelled.
He snapped back to his senses and teased, âI havenât done anything yet and youâre already calling me a pervert? Well, it seems I should do something to live up to that title youâve given
me!â
Elijah fixed his gaze on her lips, then forcefully pressed down on her, closing the distance between them as he tried to devour and punish her.
Sheena was overwhelmed with a sense of shame. âWhat are you two doing?!â
