Wait, She’s a Billionaire ( Sheena Lawson )
Chapter 449
Elliot finally spoke, and all eyes turned to him. He reached to remove the scarf and unbutton his suit. The wound on his chest was the most direct evidence. As the extensive purple-red hickeys on his chest and collarbone were about to be exposed to all the members of the Jenkins family, Sheena, frightened, grabbed his shirt and covered him tightly.
âDonât take it off! So many people are watching! Have you no shame?â
What a bastard!
She would definitely teach him a lesson once he was fully recovered.
Elliot smirked. âIâm a man. Showing some chest is normal.â
âNot normal!â Sheena glared at him angrily and whispered threateningly, âYour body is only for me to see in the future! Hurry up and get dressed!â
Elliot enjoyed her declaration of ownership. He buttoned up and exchanged a glance with Lionel outside the door.
Lionel brought in a bound young man, throwing him into the center. Then, he took out a document, which Grant received and handed to Santiago.
âItâs him. While Mr. Jenkins was on a mission, he lied about the news. When I went to catch him last
night, he happened to have taken Mr. Stanleyâs payment and was preparing to run. This document contains his confession,â Lionel explained.
Santiago carefully read the confession, his expression serious.
Peter was slightly stunned. Stanley had clearly told him that the person had already been discreetly
taken care of on the outskirts of town.
How did Lionel manage to catch him?
Santiago handed the confession to Peter, who read it thrice, repeatedly confirming its authenticity.
Finally, he concluded that Stanleyâs man had blown the job and had been caught red-handed!
Lionel continued, âAs the head of the Jenkins family, Mr. Jenkins was almost killed by Mr. Stanley. Shouldnât we handle this according to the family rules of the Jenkins family?â
All eyes turned to Santiago as if seeking his advice.
In the midst of all the gazes, Santiago stroked his beard, and with Grantâs assistance, he stood up.
âEli, the Jenkins family is now under your leadership. Itâs your decision. Iâm going back to rest,â he declared.
Elliot nodded slightly. âAlright, Grandpa. Take care.â
âDad! Please donât go!â Peter shouted a couple of times.
However, Santiago left without looking back, leaving Peter in a difficult situation with no one to help
him.
Stanley had managed to mess up his first independent task!
Santiago paid no attention, leaving the hall without turning back. Once he left, the rest of the Jenkins family members followed suit, leaving only Sheena, Elliot, Lionel, and Peter.
The young man who had committed the offense had been taken away by Lionel.
With everyone gone, there was no need for pretense.
Peter forced a smile and said, âElliot, Stanley didnât mean any harm. Thereâs no need to escalate this and intentionally harm him to your extent. Besides, heâs injured and still unconscious. How about we call it even?â
Sheena took over the conversation. âMr. Peter, youâre mistaken. Beating up Stanley was my idea. If youâre dissatisfied, you can discuss it with me. Regarding Stanley harming Eli, each issue should be dealt with separately, not bundled together.â
Peter glared at her, then turned to Elliot. âElliot, what do
you say?â
Elliot pulled Sheena onto his lap, pampering her by gently rubbing her small face, displaying affection openly. âNana is right. Each issue should be dealt with separately.â
Then, he turned to Peter, his gaze turning cold again. âI heard Stanley is still unconscious and seriously injured. Is that true?â
Peter chuckled. âYes. Iâll scold him later. He needs to be more careful next time.â
Ignoring Peterâs response, Elliot looked at Lionel. âBring Stanley over. Even if he needs to be carried, make sure heâs brought to the hall.â
Peterâs expression shifted slightly, and he immediately signaled the guards outside.
Twenty minutes later, Stanley, escorted by Lionel, entered the hall.
