Chapter 3 : Consequences

He picked up his bag from the seat and, thinking of not taking any more classes, sat on his bicycle and went around the city. The sky was covered with clouds.

Eric came straight from the university to his office where all the staff were already doing their work. When Eric entered the office, he saw his friend Derek who was leaning on his table doing something on his computer, straightened up and said seriously.

"Derek, your father's message on the computer; he wants to meet."

"I don't want to meet them. Forbid it. Say I don't have time," said Eric. He loosened his tie and sat on the seat. "You know I can't forbid King (Eric's father); whatever your answer is, you should give it to your father by yourself... By the way, I think you should go," Derek said to Eric, who was now drinking water. "They have their other sons and they don't need me... I will write my answer to him by myself." Placed Eric his glass on the table and sat down from where Derek had now retreated.

"His other sons are your brothers," said Derek.

"I don't need brothers who can't even bear my presence." Hearing Derek's words, he said with a sarcastic smile. "And now I don't want to argue about them, tell me what you were watching on my computer," Eric said to Derek.

"Well, okay, I won't talk about your brothers, okay, and I was checking the mail of another company that was supposed to come," Derek said, pulling a chair to sit in front of him and talking to him more about business.

Since Asher had not eaten anything since morning and now he was feeling hungry, he went to a small open-air cafe to satisfy his hunger. He only had so much money that he could only eat a sandwich; now he was drinking coffee after eating the sandwich to ease the feeling of cold. He was drinking coffee when he felt someone was watching him, but when he looked around, no one was looking at him. After drinking coffee, he paid the bill and got up and headed home because now he had to write an essay which Eric asked for... then he had to go to a club for his new job at night where he worked as a waiter.

"Eric, let's go to the club today," asked Derek.

"Sure..." Eric quickly packed his things and went out with Derek.

Since yesterday, I have not drunk any blood except packed blood. Derek said while sitting with Eric in the car. "I also want to drink fresh blood; let's make someone a victim from the club today." Eric turned to Derek and smiled. Now both of them had a smile on their faces, cold, ruthless, and murderous. Before getting out of the car, Eric took off his coat, threw it in the car, and opened the first three buttons of his shirt, starting to fold his cuffs. Both of them entered the club where the girls and music blasted in the background, with murderous smiles on their faces that would make anyone fall for them. They separated and went to find their respective victims.
